New Delhi, Inox Wind on Wednesday said it has bagged a 51 MW order from First Energy Pvt Ltd, a Thermax Group company and a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in India's commercial & industrial space..This is the first order placed by First Energy Pvt Ltd (FEPL) to Inox Wind (IWL) for the supply of its 3 MW class wind turbines, having 140-metre hub height and rotor diameter of 145 metres, a company statement said..The FEPL will set up these turbines at its project site in Tamil Nadu, which is being developed through its special purpose vehicle (SPV), First Energy 10 Private Limited..The order also includes limited-scope EPC services for the project, including supervision, along with multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services post-commissioning of the wind turbine generators (WTGs)..These services will be implemented through the subsidiaries of IWL..Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Inox Wind Ltd, said, "We believe that our partnership will help First Energy to scale up its offerings rapidly. Inox Wind continues to be a partner of choice for large RE developers, offering a wide range of solutions across the wind energy value chain, strongly contributing to India's energy transition goals.'

Trichy: Ministry of defence (MoD) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (Tidco) to develop a testing facility in mechanical and material domain as a part of Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor in Trichy under the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme (DTIS). Senior officials from MoD and Tidco exchanged the MoU, in the presence of secretary (defence production), MoD, Sanjeev Kumar. at New Delhi on Monday. The DTIS provides up to 75% govt funding as 'Grant-in-Aid', with the remaining 25% funded by the special purpose vehicle (SPV), comprising Indian private entities, state, and central govts. For the mechanical and material domain testing facility, Micro Labs, a private entity, is the lead SPV member. Other members include Tidco, Bharat Earth Movers Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Vaidheswaran Industries. "So far, we have been going to Chennai and Bengaluru to conduct material testing. The Ministry of Defence has signed an Memorandum of Understanding to establish a state-of-the-art testing facility in mechanical and material domain in the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor in Tiruchi under the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme (DTIS). The MoU documents were exchanged between the senior officials of the Ministry and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDCO). Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production), was present at the event in New Delhi on July 28, according to a release. Under DTIS, up to 75% government funding is provided as 'grant-in-aid' with the remaining 25% funded by the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), comprising private entities and State and Central governments. Micro Labs, a private entity, is the lead SPV member, for establishing the mechanical and material domain testing facility. TIDCO, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd., Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., and Vaidheswaran Industries are the other members of the SPV consortium. With an outlay of ₹400 crore, the DTIS was launched to set up state-of-the-art testing facilities to promote indigenous defence production and reduce military equipment imports, the release added.

Stock Market Today: Inox Wind share price remains in focus on Thursday as it announced its offer regarding the rights issue of equity shares. Inox Wind share price saw a positive opening on Thursday, though it corrected amid weakness in the Indian stock markets Inox Wind, on 23 July 2025, announced its Letter of Offer for the Rights Issue of Equity Shares of the Company. Inox Wind plans to issue up to 104,110,712 fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of Rs.10/- each, totaling Rs.1,249.33 Crores on a rights basis to qualifying shareholders. Rights issue price—The rights issue is priced at Rs. 120/- per equity share, including a premium of Rs. 110/- per equity share. Eligible shareholders will receive 5 Rights Equity Shares for every 78 fully paid-up Equity Shares held on the Record Date. Record date for Inox Wind Rights issue—The record date for the rights issue has been set as Tuesday, July 29, 2025. As per intimation by Inox Wind on the National Stock Exchange of India and the BSE, or the Bombay Stock Exchange, "Inox Wind has proposed a rights issue of 10,41,10,712 fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of Rs.10/- each for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs.1,249.33 crores on a rights basis to the eligible shareholders of the company. The rights issue is at a price of Rs. 120/- per equity share (including a premium of Rs. 110/- per equity share) in the ratio of 5 (five) rights equity shares for every 78 (seventy-eight) fully paid-up equity shares held by eligible shareholders as on the record date, i.e., Tuesday, 29th July, 2025. The Inox Wind share price opened at ₹ 166.95 on the BSE on Thursday post, slightly higher than the closing price of ₹ 165.60 on Wednesday amid weakness in the Indian stock markets. The Inox Wind share price, after seeing a positive opening, corrected thereafter as the benchmark indices also corrected, and the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.3-0.4%.
