Aardman's Pokémon show is a delightful-looking romp that follows Sirfetch'd and Pichu
It looks extremely charming, as one would expect from Aardman. The trailer is on the shorter side, but shows the dynamic duo getting involved in some cutesy shenanigans as an oblivious Wooloo relaxes in a field. It makes sense that the footage would highlight a sheep-inspired Pokémon, given that this studio also made Shaun the Sheep .
The show takes place in the Galar region, which is the UK-inspired land first introduced in Pokémon Sword & Shield . Aardman is a British studio, so this is a nice match. The program looks to focus entirely on pocket monsters, and not humans. This contrasts with the Netflix hit Pokémon Concierge , which follows a human protagonist .
Now for some bad news. Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd and Pichu isn't coming until 2027 and there's no streaming platform attached just yet. The trailer dropped during today's Pokémon Presents livestream which also gave us footage of the second batch of Pokémon Concierge episodes and a full hour of Pikachu DJing for some reason.

Netflix Has Both 'Happy Gilmore' Movies Right Now, but Not for Long
The biggest original film to arrive on Netflix in July was undoubtedly Happy Gilmore 2. The Adam Sandler sequel was 30 years in the making and marks the return of one of his most iconic characters, Happy Gilmore, a Boston Bruins-obsessed hockey fan who turns his mean slapshot into a professional golf career. Happy Gilmore 2 premiered on Netflix on July 25, and features most of the original film's cast. Sandler is joined by Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Dennis Dugan and Ben Stiller, all of whom reprise their roles from the first movie. Sadly, some members of the original 1996 cast, including Bob Barker and Carl Weathers, have died, but new characters played by Bad Bunny, Kym Whitley and Benny Safdie debuted in the sequel. With so much hype around the new release, it makes sense that fans are clamoring to revisit the original, which dropped on Netflix July 1 and is currently in the Netflix Top 10. But you'll have to act fast if you want to watch the comedy classic on Netflix -- that's because Happy Gilmore will no longer be streaming there after July 31. But, when one door closes, another opens, while you may not be able to watch the original on Netflix after this week, the good news is that it'll arrive on Starz on Friday, Aug. 1 so you can catch it there. You'll still be able to rent Happy Gilmore on platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV, too. So if you're gearing up for a Happy Gilmore weekend, fear not, you can still stream both films, as long as you know where to look.

Tsunami alerts have also been eased for the the U.S. West Coast and Alaska as well as other countries on the Pacific Ocean including Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Guam, Peru and the Galapagos Islands, and parts of China. However, the National Weather Service for the Bay Area and Los Angeles continued to advise caution close to the water. The Department Of Emergency Management for Hawaii's main island of Oahu, which is home to the state capital of Honolulu, issued a warning at 6.15pm local time (9.15 pm PT) warning people in the city and surrounding areas to get to 'higher elevations'. It said the first waves were expected to arrive around 7.17pm local time (10.17pm PT). The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported around that time that a 5.7ft (1.7m) wave had been recorded on Hawaii's second largest island of Maui, while a 4.9ft (1.5m) wave was recorded in Hailo. 'This is a moment in time when people need to prioritize the safety of their families,' said Mayor Rick Blangiardi from the City and County of Honolulu's Emergency Operations Center. 'We need everyone to take this situation seriously, act accordingly, evacuate inundation zones, and listen to first responders. We are asking everyone to remain calm and be safe. Mahalo.' The earthquake off Russia's Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula, which triggered the tsunami warnings, measured 8.8 on the Richer scale. Russian scientists said it most strongest quake to hit the region since 1952. The Hawaii Film Office, which oversees shoots on the popular filming location, also posted a link on its website to the islands' Emergency Management Agent, which in turn advises on safety measures and food security in the event of severe flooding. There were no updates at this stage on the implications for film and TV shoots as the islands braced for potential big waves. The U.S. National Weather Service issued a wider Tsunami warning which also included portions of Alaska, Guam, American Samoa, and the West Coast of the U.S. It called on people on the West Coast to avoid beaches, harbours and marinas, with waves expected to reach San Francisco and California in the early hours of the morning.
