Renowned music composer and keyboardist Stephen Devassy recently took to social media to share a deeply emotional moment that touched the hearts of his followers. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Stephen spoke about reuniting with Pattathiyar, the cherished caretaker who had been part of his life since his earliest days.
The reunion took place at his ancestral home, where the two sat together on the verandah.

attathiyar, as she is fondly known in Stephen's family, has been more than just a caretaker. She was there long before Stephen was even born—present at his parents' wedding, and later, an integral part of his upbringing. 'She looked after me when I was a child. She was the one who used to bathe me until a certain age,' Stephen wrote.
A life intertwined with generations
Stephen's note revealed that Pattathiyar has been part of their family for over five decades. His note completely read, "A trip down memory lane.. We fondly call her Pattathiyar.. She took care of me in my childhood days. She was the one who used to bathe me when I was a baby.. I had the privilege of meeting Pattathiyar yesterday. We walked down the memory lane once again. Pattathiyar always had her presence in our lives- she saw my parents getting married, she was there at the wedding functions.

It has been a month since Shefali Jariwala's sudden death on June 27, 2025. Actor and Shefali Jariwala's husband Parag Tyagi on Sunday shared an emotional post on Instagram on behalf of their pet dog Simba, whom the couple referred to as their son. Shefali Jariwala's Death Shefali Jariwala, best known for the popular music video Kaanta Laga, died on June 27, 2025, after suffering a cardiac arrest at her residence in Mumbai. She was 42. Initial probes into her death suggest self-medication and anti-ageing treatments, specifically glutathione and Vitamin C which may have triggered the cardiac arrest. The exact cause of her death is yet to be confirmed. In A Nutshell One month after Shefali Jariwala's, her husband Parag Tyagi shared an Instagram note from their pet dog Simba for his late wife.
