Mohammed Siraj was India's hero as they beat England by just six runs in a thrilling fifth Test at the Oval on Monday to end the series level at 2-2.
England, set 374 to win, were bowled out for 367, with fast bowler Siraj taking 5-104, including a sensational burst of 3-9 on Monday's final morning.

After resuming on 339-6, England lost four wickets for 28 runs on the final morning of a dramatic series.
But England were soon 354-8, 20 runs shy of victory, after outstanding paceman Siraj, the leading bowler on either side this series, struck twice to remove Jamie Smith and Jamie Overton.
When injured England last man Chris Woakes came into bat with his left-arm strapped up in a sling owing to an injured shoulder, England still needed 17 more runs for victory.
Gus Atkinson hit a six off Siraj before England got the target down to single figures.
But Siraj sealed the seal on a superb series by bowling Atkinson (17) as he knocked over the batsman's off stump to spark delirious scenes among the India team and their supporters in south London.
The cricket world was in awe of Woakes' bravery and the theatre of Test cricket, although Woakes was not required to face a delivery in the end.
Cricket stats guru Ric Finlay said on X: 'Immense courage by Chris Woakes.'
Stuart Broad posted: 'Don't know how I feel about any of this right now. How is Chris Woakes feeling?!
'Test cricket hey. This series has been superb and what a finish. Woakesy to hit the winning runs left handed? Nothing is out of the question! Siraj heroic. Doing plenty!'
Dale Steyn posted: 'WE LOVE TEST CRICKET. Incredible series! Well done, well done.'
This is test cricket,Real TEST of your character.

We've been playing Test cricket for 150 years - that's one of the best endings to any of them. *Unreal* stuff

Walking to the crease with his arm in a sling. Chris Woakes into cricket folklore with that alone. #ENGvIND

Harsh Bhogle said: 'I don't think anyone could have asked for anything more from a sport. It has been a privilege to have been here and to call the last moments will remain one of the biggest moments of my career.'
The Telegraph's Tim Wigmore said: 'A spectacular series but England have now gone 7 series aainst Australia or India without winning. They've drawn 2-2 at home on 4 occasions, and then been thashed each series away.'
It is India's narrowest winning margin in a Test match.
'For us as a team that wasn't given a chance in this series, for us to fight back and fight in every game and get a result which is 2-2 (is great),' India's KL Rahul told Sky Sports.
'It might seem like a draw but for Indian Test cricket going into the future it will rank right at the top.
'From this, we will go on and win many more series outside of India,' the opening batsman added.
Siraj finished with figures of 5/104 from 30.1 overs.
India were without Jasprit Bumrah at the Oval after deciding to stand by a decision to only play the world's top-ranked Test bowler in three games of this five-match series -- a figure the fast bowler reached during last week's drawn fourth Test at Old Trafford.
Siraj, who featured throughout the series, ended with 23 wickets at 32.43.

Diogo Jota: Liverpool's emotional Anfield tribute to late star and brother

It marks the first match at Liverpool's home since the Portuguese forward tragically passed away in a car accident last month. Liverpool legend Phil Thompson was joined by Bilbao's club president Jon Uriarte and they laid down a wreath of flowers each just before kick-off. One wreath was for Jota and the other for his brother Andre Silva, who was in the car with him and also died at the scene. At the same time, tens of thousands of Liverpool fans in attendance chanted Jota's song. Pre-match proceedings were disrupted earlier in the day when the fire alarms went off, leading to Liverpool's famous ground being evacuated. The alarms have been since proven to be false and first went off just over an hour before the game started. A club statement read: 'Shortly before 3:50pm there was a false alarm in the Anfield Main Stand, leading to supporters in that area of the stadium to be temporarily evacuated. 'Fans are now being let back into the Main Stand and there is no expected delay to KO. 'Thank you for everyone's co-operation.' That led to everyone in the ground having to leave before coming back in to pay tribute to Jota. The club also have a special programme dedicated to Jota, which includes various pictures of him on the cover, and a caption that reads: 'Forever our number 20'. The Reds have also already announced that his number is being permanently retired by the club. And at Anfield, it was a sight to behold as the stadium was covered in thousands of Jota flags and shirts. In the programme, there is a special message from Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, which reads: 'He will always be with us. 'I always come back to the fact that we have to look after Diogo's family, his parents, and that's the main thing. 'You think about so many different things, and it's difficult to process. 'You can't imagine the pain, the feeling that they have. That's why we try to be there as much as we can, and for each other as well.' Ahead of the game, there were Jota scarves and flags everywhere, while several murals have popped up all over the city. The football world is still reeling from the tragic death of Jota and his brother Silva on July 3 in Spain. The duo were travelling to get the ferry to Merseyside when they were involved in the fatal car crash. The forward's teammates have marked a lot of pre-season by re-creating a celebration dedicated to Jota's love of FIFA and online games. In the match itself, the Reds went 2-0 up inside the opening five minutes thanks to goals from Darwin Nunez and Rio Ngumoha. They are now 4-1 up with an own goal from Alex Padilla and Harvey Elliott adding gloss to the scoreline. But the LaLiga side have pulled one back through Gorka Guruzeta. The two teams play each other in a second friendly at Anfield on Monday, which kicks off at 8pm. The Reds kick-off their Premier League title defence next Friday in the opener, live on welcome Bournemouth to Anfield on what is sure to be another emotional night. England fans lose minds over Mohammed Siraj's series-ending act

England cricket fans have fumed that India should be disqualified from their Test match victory after Mohammed Siraj's 'cringe' celebration. Siraj, 31, didn't hold back during his celebrations after India stunned England to win the Fifth Test by six runs, The Sun reports. Siraj and his teammates pulled off a devastating showing as they took three wickets in just over 30 minutes of play to leave an injured Chris Woakes needing to take to the crease with his arm in a sling. Woakes, who has been out of the series since dislocating his shoulder on day one of the final Test, was forced to come out and partner Gus Atkinson and bat with one hand as England searched for just 17 runs to win the series. The drama came to an end when Siraj bowled out Atkinson to win the Test and draw the series. And the fast-bowler made sure everyone packed inside The Oval knew exactly how much it meant to him as he leapt up and celebrated by emulating Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Siu' celebration in the middle of the pitch. But England fans were left furious by the celebration, slamming it as 'cringe' and excessive. One fan wrote: 'I just cringed so hard at Siraj pulling the Siu in the middle of The Oval.' While another added: 'That celebration is shocking'. A third fumed: 'Why are they celebrating like they won the whole thing?' And a fourth even suggested India should be disqualified, writing: 'India should be disqualified from winning that purely on the basis of Siraj doing Ronaldo's celebration. God that's cringe'. Others praised Siraj for his moment of brilliance that tied the series for India. One wrote: 'Siraj, what a spell. And that celebration … chills. When Ronaldo is your idol, greatness isn't a choice, it's fate.' And a second posted: 'Yeah, Siraj has got that clutch Ronaldo gene'. England captain Ben Stokes said that his team were 'bitterly disappointed' not to get over the line and win the series following India's dramatic final Test victory. 'Both teams have put so much energy and effort into this whole series, it's been an amazing one to be a part of,' Stokes said to Sky Sports. 'Obviously bitterly disappointed that we couldn't get over the line here, but (it's been) a series that has made me very proud of my team and everything they've thrown into this. 'We obviously would have loved to have come away with the series win but it wasn't meant to be'.
