
2025 Summer Enrichment Program Registration Underway
The annual program is a key initiative by the Ministry to provide students with constructive and enriching activities during their summer break, focusing on academic, cultural, and social development.
This year's program will feature a diverse array of workshops and in-person lectures spanning various disciplines, including science, culture, sports, arts, entertainment, scouting, and girl guides.
Activities will be hosted at 10 dedicated summer centers strategically located across the Kingdom's governorates.

These include five centers specifically for boys and five for girls, alongside the Gifted Student Care Center, which will accommodate both male and female students.
The program is designed for children aged 9 to 15 years, with daily activities scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The enrichment program is set to run from July 13 to August 7, 2025.
The Ministry strongly encourages parents to enroll their children in the program, emphasizing its significant positive impact on skill development and the productive utilization of students' time through purposeful educational and awareness-raising activities.

SCW and Housing Ministry Empower Bahraini Women with Housing Awareness Program
The Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Social Development, held the second edition of its awareness program, 'Bahraini Women's Access to Housing Services,' at the Mubarak Jassim Kanoo Social Center. The event brought together women from civil society organizations and eligible beneficiaries of housing services to learn more about the opportunities available to them. Eman Hassan Al Abbasi, Director of Housing Finance at the Ministry, opened the session with a warm welcome and thanked the SCW for launching the initiative. She highlighted that the program aims to explain the various housing services and eligibility criteria for Bahraini women, guiding them through the application process up to allocation. She expressed hope that the program will enhance awareness and help women achieve greater housing stability. During the session, Mervat Saleh Al Doseri, Head of Community Affairs at the Ministry, presented an overview of the ministry's housing and financing services. She explained the five housing categories and the support available to women, including ownership programs, housing loans, rent allowances, and special exemptions for widows caring for minor children. The presentation also covered key initiatives such as the Masaken 1 and Masaken 2 projects for fifth-category applicants, and instant financing options like Tas'heel, Tas'heel+, and specialized products such as Tas'heel Aqar, Tas'heel Al Bayt Al Oud, and Tas'heel Ta'awun. She also introduced the updated Mazaya programs designed to make homeownership easier. Adding to the session, Ahmed Thamer from the Housing Bank showcased the bank's digital platform 'Baiti', which simplifies the journey for families searching for their dream home. Through the platform, users can browse available properties, calculate financing, apply for loans, and track applications. He emphasized that Baiti connects home seekers with seven participating banks and multiple real estate developers, reflecting the government's vision of offering citizens all housing solutions under one roof. The program underscored the government's continued commitment to empowering Bahraini women with the knowledge and tools needed to secure stable housing for their families.

Education Minister approves scholarship plan for 2024–2025 high school graduates
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, approved the scholarship and grant allocation plan for Bahraini high school graduates from public and private schools for the 2024–2025 academic year. The plan covers students who achieved a score of 90% or higher. Over 4,000 scholarships and grants have been designated, including 1,900 full scholarships for students scoring 95% and above, and 2,300 grants for students scoring between 90% and 94.9%. Eligible students can proceed with their scholarship application process once accepted by a university, provided they complete the process within two months of receiving admission. Dr. Juma said that this initiative reflects the continued support for education under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This year's plan includes 300 scholarships in nursing, 12 international scholarships in the United States and the United Kingdom, and 5 scholarships at Al Azhar University, in addition to hundreds of seats at universities across Bahrain and the region. Students enrolled in home-schooling, evening education, and literacy and adult education programmes are also eligible for the scholarships and grants.
