2025 Summer Enrichment Program Registration Underway

The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of online registration for its 2025 Summer Enrichment Program, with the registration window set for today until July 10, accessible via the National Portal ( The annual program is a key initiative by the Ministry to provide students with constructive and enriching activities during their summer break, focusing on academic, cultural, and social development. This year's program will feature a diverse array of workshops and in-person lectures spanning various disciplines, including science, culture, sports, arts, entertainment, scouting, and girl guides. Activities will be hosted at 10 dedicated summer centers strategically located across the Kingdom's governorates. Centres These include five centers specifically for boys and five for girls, alongside the Gifted Student Care Center, which will accommodate both male and female students. The program is designed for children aged 9 to 15 years, with daily activities scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The enrichment program is set to run from July 13 to August 7, 2025. The Ministry strongly encourages parents to enroll their children in the program, emphasizing its significant positive impact on skill development and the productive utilization of students' time through purposeful educational and awareness-raising activities. West Park Community Center gym collapses in West Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The gym of a popular West Nashville park collapsed Saturday. Firefighters responded to the collapse around 7:45 p.m. at the West Park Community Center on Morrow Road. Shaking reported in Middle TN during 4.1 magnitude earthquake in Blount County According to the Metro Board of Parks and Recreation, the gym had been fenced off for several months, so no one was inside at the time. No injuries were reported. Officials said the building was determined to be safe, and next steps for the facility are now being discussed. ⏩ The center's Summer Enrichment Program will now take place June 2 through June 27 at Westwood Baptist Church on Charlotte Pike and at Cockrill Elementary School from June 30 to July 22.
