Javier Pastore names De Rossi in his ideal starting XI
Former Roma midfielder Javier Pastore gave an interview to SportWeek in which he spoke about the eleven best players he has ever played with.
The former number 27 also mentioned Daniele De Rossi in his favourite formation.
Here is the Argentine's chosen starting line-up: (4-3-3): Sirigu; Zanetti, Otamendi, Thiago Silva, Maxwell; De Rossi, Thiago Motta; Neymar, Verratti, Messi; Ibrahimovic.
In addition, the ex-PSG player also revealed a little behind the scenes at the time of his transfer to the Italian capital in 2018.
'When I was about to sign with Roma, De Rossi was the first to write to me to tell me that he was happy to be able to play with me,' he said.

Inter was in the running for a treble until it lost to city rival AC Milan in the Italian Cup semifinals in April. Having also been beaten by Milan in the Italian Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia in January, the Nerazzurri didn't win a trophy this season. The coaching change at Inter is just one of many managerial moves among the top Italian teams this offseason, with Milan, Roma, Atalanta and others making changes.
