NFL explains its Saturday "Kids Zone" activation at National Mall
Well, at least we know they're still paying attention.
After getting no response to three different emails sent this week regarding the hidden 61-page ruling in the collusion grievance, we heard from the NFL on Friday afternoon in response to an item posted based on a report from John Ourand of Puck.
Ourand explained that the NFL will sponsor a 'Kids Zone' activation on the National Mall before Saturday's military parade. Citing the festival map, Ourand pointed out that the NFL is the only brand mentioned.
The NFL has contacted PFT in response to the item that was posted on Friday morning regarding the proverbial minefield through which the league is tiptoeing. Here's the full content of the email:
'The NFL joins more than 30 companies in supporting the celebration of the Army's 250th anniversary tomorrow on the National Mall and our planning with the Army and USAA, a longtime NFL partner, has been underway for several years.
'The NFL's area will be a Salute to Service 'Kids Zone' activation, providing younger participants and military families the opportunity to engage in football drills and skills. The area will be open from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.
'Other organizations on site include: USAA, Walmart, T-Mobile, GE Aerospace, Boeing and nonprofits like Gary Sinise Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project.'
For whatever reason, only the NFL is mentioned on the map.
For a very good reason, the NFL is sensitive to the potential impression that it is aligning itself with a polarizing administration. However, the NFL also must be careful not to alienate the administration.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted Kissing in Multiple Fan Videos From Last Night
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could. not. stop. being adorable last night. In case you missed their surprise appearance, the pair showed up to the Stanley Cup Final in Florida—where they're currently spending time while Travis trains for the NFL season. Their general vibe? But Taylor and Travis were also caught on camera kissing and cuddling multiple times from multiple angles and can't lie: The footage (gathered by @swifferupdates) is extremely sweet. Literally me after watching these videos: FYI, all this romance comes amid a source telling People, 'Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season' thanks to it being the first full season that she hasn't also been juggling a tour schedule. 'This fall will be completely different,' the source said. 'It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar. The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn't easy but they made it work. Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she's genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently.' Apparently, Taylor will be at 'as many of his games as possible,' so get ready. You Might Also Like Here's What NOT to Wear to a Wedding Meet the Laziest, Easiest Acne Routine You'll Ever Try

91 days until Saints season opener: Every player to wear No. 91
We've got 91 days left until the New Orleans Saints open up their 2025 season, which means it's time to continue our countdown with every player to wear No. 91 for the black and gold. The No. 91 jersey currently belongs to rookie defensive tackle Vernon Broughton, who the Saints drafted in Round 3 out of Texas this year. The late Will Smith accomplished more than anyone else to use No. 91, having retired with the fourth-most sacks in franchise history (67.5; his protege Cameron Jordan later surpassed him to claim the all-time Saints record). But he isn't the only great player to do the number proud. Trey Hendrickson was a bit of a late bloomer but he developed into one of the better pass rushers of his generation. Other names worth mentioning include Robert Goff and Brady Smith. New Eagles QB is already on thin ice (and training camp hasn't arrived yet)
We may never again see another NFL team hand another more talented quarterback prospect than the Cleveland Browns have given to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Brownies drafted Tim Couch first overall in 1999. The Birds took Donovan McNabb one pick later. The rest, as they say, is history. Then, there was the trade in 2016. Cleveland dealt the second-overall pick to Philadelphia, and with it, the Eagles acquired Carson Wentz. Say what you will about Carson. He set the table for the Birds' first Super Bowl win. Advertisement The Dorian Thompson-Robinson/Kenny Pickett trade wasn't as impactful as landing Donovan or Carson, but it still feels like Philadelphia won out. After all, they earned a fifth-round selection out of the deal. What's strange is that Kenny may make the Browns' roster, and the ceiling for Thompson-Robinson may be a practice squad job, because both are skating on thin ice thanks to a couple of late-round rookies. Kyle McCord's presence on the Eagles roster could spell doom for Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Nothing lasts forever in the NFL, but Pickett and Thompson-Robinson have to be telling themselves that one season would be nice. The former is suffering from 'Shedeur Sanders envy'. The latter seemingly lost his job to Kyle McCord before either played a snap. Advertisement McCord hasn't technically won the job yet, but then again, Philadelphia invested draft capital. That says a lot, and when the rookie stepped on the field to take some reps as the third quarterback, he certainly made the most of his opportunity. It's only June. Training camp hasn't started yet, so there's a long way to go. There are, however, a couple of growing theories, and they might be accurate. Somehow, it feels like we've already seen Thompson-Robinson's ceiling, and McCord might have more natural talent. It seems unlikely that either will play this season in a game that matters, but that isn't the point. Advertisement This is Philadelphia, and a battle for the third quarterback job is just as interesting as any other. Keep an eye on this one as we move through the summer, but if anyone is taking wagers, it's wise to place one on Kyle McCord.
