I'm not usually one to let review scores sway me. As a critic myself, I like to watch movies on my own terms before seeing what other people think. However, a near-perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes is hard to ignore, so when I heard 'Sorry, Baby' had pulled such an impressive rating, it shot pretty quickly up my list of 'must-watch movies.' While its theatrical release last month didn't come to a cinema near me, the good news is the comedy-drama has just made its streaming bow, landing on PVOD platforms including Amazon and Apple earlier this week. If, like me, you're always intrigued when a movie pulls an impressively high percentage score on the popular review aggregate site, here's all the details you need to know about 'Sorry, Baby.' Agnes (Eva Victor) is a professor at an arts college in New England, living alone with her cat. But while everyday life has gone on for everybody else, Agnes' life has been radically changed by a past trauma. And the effects of that "bad thing" in her past continue to impact her outlook to this very day. When a close friend (Naomi Ackie) arrives with good news to share, Agnes begins to realize that she's been stuck for the last three years and needs to find a way to move forward with her life.
