Listen up, gloss lovers and lip skeptics alike: It's time to add a new lip product to your everyday rotation. If you thought the era of sticky lip gloss was 6 feet under, think again: Celeb-loved brand Laneige is giving the gloss game a glow-up, and it's causing quite the craze. The Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum is the love child of a super-hydrating Laneige Sleeping Lip Mask and your go-to glassy bedtime gloss — but better. And guess what? It's currently on sale for just $15 on Amazon. Yep, you read that right. Fifteen bucks to make your lips look like they've been kissed by angels (or at least a really good moisturizer). Advertisement This serum isn't just about shine; it's a full-on hydration hero packed with plumping polypeptides and ceramides, ingredients that scream, 'I'm here to make your lips look fuller and smoother' without any of that dreaded gloss-sticking-to-hair-and-teeth dilemma. Think: Hydrated, nourished lips that look juicy all day long — with none of the 'lip gloss ran off my face' embarrassment. And that applicator? It's shaped like a tiny doughnut, which sounds like a snack but actually means perfect product distribution every time. Swipe it on, and watch as a sheer, buildable tint glides over your lips, adding a pop of color that's as natural or as bold as you want it to be. Flavor-wise, we're talking about eight lip-smacking shades with names so fun you'll want to try them all: Strawberry Sprinkles, Chocolate Frosting, Raspberry Razzle — each lightly scented with a hint of candy sweetness to keep your senses just as happy as your pout. And at $15, this is no luxury indulgence — it's a no-brainer. Whether you're running errands, zooming into meetings, or just feeling like treating yourself (because why not?), Glaze Craze Tinted serum is a quick, fuss-free way to up your lip game without drying out your wallet or your lips. So ditch the crusty matte lipsticks and embrace the juicy, glossy, hydrated life. Your lips will thank you (and so will your selfie camera). Looking for a headline-worthy haul? 'I ditched my Laneige lip balm for a £4 alternative - one thing stuck with me'
I've loved my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask for a while now and double it up as a lip balm, but a cheaper Boots alternative caught my eye and after trying it, this one thing stuck with me When I first saw the Laneige Sleeping Lip Mask trending on social media, I knew I had to have one. The small tub, the moisture and gloss it offered - it was marketed as a high quality lip balm and one I added to my shopping haul immediately. I've been careful not to use too much and have managed to make my Sleeping Lip Mask last well over six months, only using it for the special evenings when I fancy a pamper session before bed or need long-lasting hydration throughout the day. But I've found myself scraping the sides, trying to get the last dregs of the product which seems to have finally run out. After frantically browsing a Boots store in an attempt to find a top-up, I came across a lip balm that looked incredibly similar. It was none other than Boots' Berry Lip Sleep Mask. At just £4.50, it felt wrong not to buy it and put it to the test to find out whether it matched as a cheaper alternative to the viral Laneige version. Lanegie Lip Sleeping Mask vs Boots Lip Sleep Mask For those who missed the hype, the Laneige lip masks are available in eight different flavours - Taro Bubble Tea, Matcha Bubble Tea, Peach Iced Tea, Berry (Original), Gummy Bear, Sweet Candy, Vanilla and Grapefruit. They even come in adorable mini sizes for when you're travelling and have to adhere to the often annoying 100ml rule. It offers an "ultra-nourishing formula that encourages soft, luscious lips" and is crafted with shea butter and hyaluronic acid - making it a popular buy. You can find them in Sephora, Cult Beauty, Space NK, Amazon and Boots. On the other hand, Boots' Berry Lip Sleep Mask landed in stores back in January, but has since been difficult to find as stocks sell fast. This product also has shea butter, just like Laneige, but also has moisture-rich ingredient coconut oil, for deep hydration. My review of the Boots Berry Lip Sleep Mask Although this should be used as a sleep lip mask, I wanted to see how my lips would fare throughout the day, so used the Boots Berry Lip Mask first thing in the morning and hoped that it would keep my lips nourished during my busy work day. I used the mini spatula provided to take a scoop of the product and applied to my lips, immediately realising that a little bit goes a long way. I rubbed my lips together and loved how easily it melted into my lips, however, after smacking them together, I felt quite a bit of stickiness which particularly irked me. But once I removed the excess product, this went away and I was left with glossy, moisturised lips. I only reapplied lip balm later than afternoon, so can confidently say this product lasted a good six hours before reapplications. A huge win in my books. Pros and cons of the Boots Berry Lip Sleep Mask Pros Affordable at only £4.50 a pop Has a stronger berry scent in comparison to Lanegie's version A little bit goes a long way Comes with a mini spatula to apply the product Cons Does leave a sticky residue, even when rubbed into lips Berry scent can be overpowering
