Time of India7 hours ago
HYDERABAD: HYLENR, Hyderabad-based clean energy startup that is working on harnessing low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) to develop carbon-free energy systems for industrial heat and power, has raised $3 million (approx.
Rs 26 crore) in a strategic Pre-Series A funding round led by early stage investors Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Ltd that are focused on deeptech and energy transition technologies.
Individual investors such as Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda too participated in the funding round. The startup said the funding will be utilised to fast-track its products from pilot to market launch and demonstrates LENR's potential as a viable and scalable alternative to fossil fuels.
The startup said it is now eyeing a $25 million fundraise from strategic investors and clean energy focused funds from the US and Europe as part of its next round.
The T-Hub incubated startup said it already has pilot projects underway with government institutions and industrial players with an eye on replacing conventional fossil-based systems with sustainable, nextgen alternatives.
'Our product pipeline includes products ranging from 7.2KW for domestic consumption all the way to 1MW for large-scale industrial applications,' the startup said.

We have begun early proof-of-concept tests, with several government bodies and large corporations showing interest in our LENR systems. The next phase will focus on scaling manufacturing and expanding globally,' said HYLENR chairman and managing director Siddhartha Durairajan.
'This funding allows us to accelerate product development and market reach, addressing industry needs for clean, high-yield thermal and electrical energy solutions in the US, Europe, India and Japan markets,' said Ram Ramaseshan, co-founder, executive director and CEO, HYLENR.
