Simone Biles Wears Harbison Studio for Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet
Simone Biles brought a pop of color to the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday in New York City. The venerated athlete and seven-time Olympic gold medalist attended the event alongside her husband of two years, Jonathan Owens.
For the gala ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's spring exhibition, Biles opted for a bright blue high-low dress courtesy of Harbison Studio. The sleeveless dress featured a bold bodice and skirt in a striking shade of blue with a bow at the back of the waist and flowing blue train with an illusion bubble hem.

The bodice of Biles' dress featured dazzling jewel appliqués and gems running down the front placket of the dress. The look included a striking white collar with silver gem bow at the center as well. Biles' heels coordinated with her dress perfectly.
Biles' husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, styled a suited look with a touch of drama. The athlete wore a crisp white suit with a Margot McKinney Atlantic pendant accessorizing one of his lapels. The football star also had a shawl draped over one shoulder and carried a cane, which offered a clearer look at Owens' fringe cuffs.
Simone Biles' fashion acumen has grown over the last several years. The gymnast recently attended the 2025 Kentucky Derby wearing another jewel-adjacent tone in a purple strapless dress by Charah. She accessorized the look with Jimmy Choo heels.
At the 2025 Laureus World Sport Awards last April, Biles wore another strapless look, opting for a formal evening gown by Saudi Arabian designer Eman AlAjlan. The dress featured a strapless bodice with an intricate black pattern over a nude underlay.
The 2025 Met Gala, held Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, features the theme 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.' The event highlights Black dandyism and menswear, with a 'Tailored for You' dress code. Cochairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour.

Sir Andy Murray not ruling out return to coaching despite Novak Djokovic split
Sir Andy Murray has not ruled out a return to coaching despite his short-lived link-up with former world number one Novak Djokovic coming to an end after just four tournaments last month. Murray was speaking at Queen's Club in London, whose centre court was officially inaugurated as the Andy Murray Arena on Monday ahead of the venue's new WTA 500 event, the first time the west London site has hosted women's tennis in 52 years. Advertisement Murray, who retired from playing after the 2024 Olympics, linked up with Djokovic in November and despite the pair terminating their relationship in May, the 38-year-old says he may accept a similar role in the future. Andy Murray relished his return to Queen's Club on Monday (John Walton/PA) Murray told BBC Sport: 'I would do it again at some stage. I don't think that will happen immediately. 'I wasn't planning on going into coaching as soon as I finished playing but it was a pretty unique opportunity. It was a chance to learn from one of the best athletes of all time. 'It was a brilliant opportunity for me. We got to spend some really nice moments away from the court. Results weren't as we wanted but we gave it a go.' Murray, a three-time grand slam winner and five-time winner of the men's title at Queen's, joked his tennis was now 'diabolical' before rallying with a 10-year-old doubles partner on the court. Advertisement 'My tennis is diabolical, apologies for what you are about to witness,' he said before pairing up with Gloria, 10, for the ceremonial two-round rally against Laura Robson, who won an Olympic silver medal alongside Murray in 2012, and Jay, 7. 'I've obviously missed being out here,' he added. 'It's the first time, obviously, not being involved in a grass court season for a while, but I've got a new life now and I'm enjoying being away from the sport a little bit.' Centre court at the Queen's Club was renamed in Murray's honour (John Walton/PA) The Scotsman also revealed he has a special connection to this event – he was coached as a 12 and 13-year-old by Russian Olga Morozova, the last women's singles winner here in 1973. Advertisement 'I think it's brilliant,' said Murray, when asked about the return of women's tennis to Queen's. 'This court has had many great matches on it. I think it's a great chance for women to showcase themselves out there.' The former world number one first competed in the main draw at Queen's as an 18-year-old and for the last time last season before retiring in Paris. He also claimed the doubles trophy in 2019 alongside Feliciano Lopez. Murray added: 'This tournament has so many special moments for me. It's the place where I won my first match on the ATP Tour, it's my most successful event. 'Coming back here at the start of the British summer and I'm very proud of the results I have here. 'I'm very grateful and thankful for whoever it was who decided to name the stadium this way. I hope there's lots of great matches and you all enjoy the tennis.'

Amal Clooney Looked Like a Beaded Mermaid (Complimentary) at the 2025 Tony Awards
Her husband may have gone home empty-handed (losing best actor in a play to Cole Escola in Oh, Mary!), but Amal Clooney still tops our list for best dressed at the 2025 Tony Awards, looking absolutely stunning in an ivory Tamara Ralph spring/summer 2025 couture beaded off-the-shoulder gown and carrying a matching pearl clutch. If there's one word to describe this look, it's mermaid. Complimentary. Pearls, as we know, are created by oysters, so their use as a design element always has a been of an 'Under the Sea' vibe, and the way there are layers of them here, along with beads, draped from the middle, creating, perhaps…kind of a tail? Dare we say…reef princess? It reminds one of Marion Cotillard's Jean Paul Gaultier gown at the 2005 Academy Awards, which wasn't pearled or beaded but was similarly fishy in a totally couture and upscale way, and has remained lodged in this writer's memory for twenty effing years at this point. It's equally reminiscent of one of Kim Kardashian's recent Met Gala ensembles, her Schiaparelli tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld. Though, in that case, the bead and the pearls were instead of a dress, not laid on top of it. One does wonder, though… How does Mrs. Clooney sit down? Like, on the beads and pearls? Because the seats at Radio City Music Hall are cushioned, but it's a long event—it cannot be comfortable to sit on hard little pearls all night. And I bet she didn't complain once, not even inside her human rights lawyer mind, but Amal Clooney? We see you. Originally Appeared on Glamour

Most-followed TikTok star Khaby Lame detained by ICE amid Trump immigration crackdown
Most-followed TikTok star Khaby Lame detained by ICE amid Trump immigration crackdown Show Caption Hide Caption National Guard and protesters clash over ICE raids Hundreds of demonstrators fought back with the National Guard and local authorities as ICE protests escalated. Khaby Lame, an Italian-Senegalese influencer whose TikTok account boasts the most followers on the platform, has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In a statement Sunday, June 8, to USA TODAY, an ICE spokesperson confirmed that Lame, whose full name is Seringe Khabane Lame, was detained Friday, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for immigration violations. Born in Senegal, Lame is now a citizen of Italy, where he has spent the majority of his life. Entering the U.S. on April 30, Lame "overstayed the terms of his visa," according to ICE, and was granted voluntary departure once detained. Online, young female OnlyFans stars make their lives look aspirational. Is it problematic? Why is Khaby Lame famous? The 25-year-old content creator has one of the most recognizable faces on the internet. Rising to fame during the pandemic, after being laid off from his factory job in Italy in March of 2020, Lame's signature video style involves him following along as another creator demonstrates a complicated life hack, then completing the task himself with ease, often wordlessly, and shooting a knowing look at the camera. Using the hashtag "learnfromkhaby" on many of his videos, Lame's fame is more akin to the internet stardom of yore, in which an exasperated look or a quick humorous bit, stripped of any high production value or product placement, could take off on Vine. Lame attended the 2025 Met Gala in May, celebrating the theme of Black dandyism in style with a bespoke gray zoot suit-style ensemble. Beyond internet stardom, he is also an ambassador for men's clothing house Boss, Blockchain platform Binance and Unicef, a humanitarian aid organization. The biggest moments from the 2025 Met Gala: Rihanna, Diana Ross, more red carpet highlights Lame's detainment comes amid a larger immigration crackdown spearheaded by President Donald Trump. Following through on a campaign promise for mass deportations, under Trump's advisement, ICE launched raids across the country, from classrooms to workplaces to airports. The move has been met with some resistance among the general public and the courts, who argue that some of the deportations have robbed people of due process and that, in the case of separated families, they embody a cruelty discordant with America's values.
