ONE punter landed a truly life-changing jackpot from a 'magical' £5 racing bet.
Bookies were left wiping away tears after a 'tough day' saw a whole host of fancied favourites romp home across the card.

Ali Shuffle, right, won the first leg of the monster ten-fold - which netted one Coral customer a life-changing fortune

But no one landed a bigger gamble than the shrewdie who turned a fiver into an eye-popping £51,224.
They somehow picked TEN winners in a monster accumulator that took in results at Chester, Newton Abbot, Kelso and Fontwell.
The first two results were the favourites at Chester - Ali Shuffle and Redorange - at 5-6 andf 13-8 respectively.
The market leaders ran riot at Newton Abbot for the jumps, with six of the seven races won by the favs.
Roxanne (2-5), Gwennie May Jem (5-6), Sweet Caryline (9-4) and Al Sayah (9-4) all obliged at the Devon track, while Aidan O'Brien's impressive 11-8 winner Lambourn kept the ball rolling at Chester.
Kilmore Rock won the 4pm at Kelso at 3-1 before Jack Sparrow's win in the 6.40pm at Fontwell left it all hanging on the final leg.
Abbey Heights was backed at 15-8 for the 8pm contest at Kempton but sent off 6-5 fav under Jim Crowley.
The winning punt
1.30 Chester – Ali Shuffle – 5-6
2.05 Chester – Redorange – 13-8
2.15 Newton Abbot – Roxanne – 2-5
2.45 Newton Abbot – Gwennie M – 5-6
3.05 Chester – Lambourn – 11-8
3.15 Newton Abbot – Sweet Caryline – 9-4
4.00 Kelso – Kilmore Rock – 3-1
4.20 Newton Abbot – Al Sayah – 9-4
6.40 Fontwell – Jack Sparrow – 15-8
8.00 Kempton – Abbey Heights – 15-8
Stake: £5
Returned: £51,224.32
Trained by Daniel and Claire Kubler, the seven-year-old gelding burst out the gates in a bid to make all.
The punter's heart would have been in their mouth as challengers circled Abbey Heights like sharks a furlong out.
But he stayed on well to win by just over two lengths and secure the colossal sum.
Coral's John Hill said: "With winners at four different racecourses, ten overall across the day, it was a magical start to Chester's May Meeting for one customer.
"They scooped over £51,000 from just a £5 stake.
"It was a tough day for bookmakers as the opening four favourites prevailed at Chester, while at Newton Abbot, six of the seven races were won by the favourite.
"We don't think this will be the only customer celebrating a fancy payout on a multiple bet on Wednesday."

Setback puts Friendly Soul plans on hold

Both the Lockinge and Brigadier Gerard had been earmarked for the high-class four-year-old's reappearance, while she held entries for both the Queen Anne and Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. However, Friendly Soul was removed from both contests at the most recent entry stage, with no set timescale for her comeback. 'She's just had a setback and hopefully we will see her later on in the season,' explained Thady Gosden. 'We'll have to wait and see and she is obviously an extremely high-class filly, so she will be given all the time she needs. 'Sadly her mother, In Clover, who was one of the greatest broodmares of recent times, passed away recently. 'She's a very exciting for Mr (George) Strawbridge and a home-bred filly of course and hopefully she will be back later in the year.' The four-year-old retains entries for the Coral-Eclipse and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe later in the season.

Argentine Tango shows off winning moves at Beverley

The race lost a bit of its lustre with the withdrawal of Ali Shuffle and Saucy Jane, but Tim Easterby's juvenile still put in a taking performance. Angel Numbers and Artista cut out the early running, but David Allan eased Argentine Tango to the front a furlong out and quickened clear. Meelaf made good late headway from the rear to keep the winner up to her work, but she was always doing enough to prevail by a neck as the 15-8 favourite. Allan told Racing TV: 'The gallop was quite good, I got a nice lead into the race, we quickened up well to the front and then she just had a little look when she got there. 'Obviously, when the second horse came to her, she dug in again and she's very tough – she's had a few runs and she's run a solid race every go. 'She loves it, just like her father did – Mattmu was a grand horse, tough as nails as well. He appreciated a bit more cut in the ground, which I'm pretty sure she will.' Old Is Gold (6-5 favourite) showed the benefit of his Ascot third behind Military Code and subsequent scorer Fitzella when running out a relatively smooth winner of the bet365 Two Year Old Trophy EBF Conditions Stakes for Andrew Balding and PJ McDonald. The son of Mehmas eased past pacesetting pair Ice Cold Alex and Raakeb a furlong out and quickly secured a decisive advantage, obliging by a length and a half from the fast-finishing Naval Light, who had no luck in running. McDonald said: 'It was smooth, exactly as you like things to go. He behaved really well beforehand, I jumped and got a nice tow in through the race and when I asked him to go about his business, he's kind of leant and pricked his ears in front and just done enough. 'The horse has got a great mind and a great attitude and he's an exciting prospect going forward.' Asked if Royal Ascot could be next, he added: 'With his temperament, his mind, I can't see a reason why he won't.'
