The stepson of Duane 'the Bounty Hunter' Chapman accidentally shot and killed the famed American TV personality's stepgrandson over the weekend, according to a report.
The tragedy unfolded at the Naples, Florida apartment of Gregory Zecca – the son of Chapman's wife, Francie Frane – on Saturday night, TMZ reported.
Zecca allegedly shot and killed his own son Anthony in what the family described in a statement to the outlet as a 'tragic accident', per the New York Post.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office confirmed to the Naples Daily News it was investigating a deadly shooting from Saturday night, calling it an 'isolated incident' without identifying anyone involved.
'We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,' representatives for Chapman and his family told TMZ.

Zecca — a member of Chapman's bounty team, according to TMZ — appears to have a passion for firearms.
He took his son Anthony to a gun range in 2021 and that same year the father-son duo visited a gun store, according to photos shared on his Instagram.
Chapman, 72, married Frane, Zecca's mother, in 2021 shortly after their respective, former spouses died.
The Dog was previously married to Beth Chapman for 13 years until she died in June 2019 following a lengthy battle against throat cancer.
In part, their families were united by their shared grief and patriotism.
'We understood the pain that the other one was feeling and [in] those tough days and moments, we helped each other stand up. We could cry with each other and talk about what we were feeling,' Frane said in a September 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight.
'We were able to walk alongside each other through the pain and heartbreak and it brought us together in this amazing way.'

Frane and her family, including Zecca, were quick to join in on Chapman's lifestyle.
'I know she's a hunter. Her and her two sons have hunted bow hunt, so they track, they look for things that the prey leaves behind,' Chapman said on The Dr. Oz Show in 2020.
'She just fit right in,' he added about his first bounty hunt alongside his would-be fifth wife. 'She started getting leads and writing them down, so there's more than just tracking and hunting.'
Chapman also has 13 children between six different women – but he was only ever married to four of them.

Jennifer Lopez admits 'some' celebrity brands aren't 'worth the hype'

Jennifer Lopez has admitted "some" celebrity brands aren't "worth the hype". The 55-year-old star has been busy answering some fan questions about her JLo Beauty brand, and acknowledged that some people are justifiably sceptical about famous faces lending their names to products. In an Instagram video, she addressed a question from a fan who said: "I tend to think celebrity skincare is not worth the hype." She replied: "Some of it isn't. It's luxury skincare that is clinically tested and trust me, I don't cut corners." The Jenny From The Block hitmaker was also asked about how some producers are "too expensive", but she insisted it's worth the investment if you can afford it. She said: "Listen, I get it. "Your skin is something that you have to show up with every single day. So, if there is a little bit of splurge in you, I would say do it on skincare, without a doubt. Other fans heaped praise on the brand, noting her moistueriser "feels like silk". J-Lo explained: "We want it to be like cashmere for your face, but make it clinically tested." And when another user insisted JLo Beauty "actually works", she replied: "Yeah, that was the point. You thought, what? I came to play? No." The singer and actress also shrugged off the idea she only uses her producers "just when the cameras are off", and revealed she was actually filming the video in her own bathroom. She laughed: "That's funny because I'm standing in my actual bathroom right now. No, I use it. I use it every day." JLo Beauty launched in 2021, initially with eight products although others have been introducted over the years. She previously told PEOPLE (The Show!): "Everywhere I went, I felt like everybody was always asking me about my skin. And as I got more mature, the questions came more often. "It was actually very nice, but I realised that it was almost like an obligation. Like I had to put out a skincare line for everybody who was asking."

Billy Joel thinks this Beatles album is a 'collection of half-assed songs'

Billy Joel has branded The White Album by The Beatles a "collection of half-assed songs". The Piano Man was clearly not a fan of the legendary rock band's 1968 self-titled double album - which featured classics Back In The USSR, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, Dear Prudence, Helter Skelter and While My Guitar Gently Weeps - and suggested they were "too stoned" or "didn't care anymore" when they recorded the 30-track epic. The songs were penned during a Transcendental Meditation retreat with the band's late guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Speaking on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, Billy said: 'I hear it as a collection of half-assed songs they didn't finish writing because they were too stoned, or they didn't care anymore. 'I think they had fragments and they put them on the album.' He suggested: 'I think John [Lennon] was disassociating at that point. 'I think Paul [McCartney] was carrying the weight. 'Sometimes they were more prolific and sometimes they weren't, and I hear that in some of those things." It marked the first time the wives and partners of the band - which also included Sir Ringo Starr and the late George Harrison - were allowed in the studio, with late frontman Lennon famously quipping that 'the break-up of The Beatles can be heard on that album.' Sir Paul McCartney has previously addressed critics of the album, telling Radio Luxembourg: 'I'm not a great one for that whole, 'Y'know maybe it was too many of that'. What do you mean? It was great, it sold. It's the bloody Beatles White Album, shut up!' Drummer Ringo previously insisted he's always loved The White Album - despite quitting the group for two weeks around then. Speaking as he celebrated his 81st birthday in 2021, he told TMZ: "I've loved the White Album all of my life because we were back to being a band." Producer George Martin also disappeared during the process for an unexpected holiday, and engineer Geoff Emerick quit. Tensions within the group escalated after the chart-topping album's release and they eventually announced their split in 1970. Despite all the drama, The White Album is considered one of the greatest albums of all time.
