Cristiano Ronaldo Proposes To Longtime Partner Georgina Rodríguez

Cristiano Ronaldo is getting married.
The global soccer superstar and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez are now engaged. Rodríguez announced the news in an Instagram post on Monday, which included a picture of her flashy new diamond ring.
"Yes I do. In this life and all my lives." Rodríguez wrote.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez made their first public appearance as a couple in 2017. They met while Rodríguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in 2016.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have two kids together: Alana Martina, born in 2017, and Bella Esmeralda, born in 2022. In total, Ronaldo, 40, has five children. His oldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., is 15 years old and currently plays for Al-Nassr's youth academy.
Ronaldo signed a new two-year deal with Al-Nassr in June. He will be 42 years old when the contract expires.
Ronaldo is expected to star for Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup next summer.

Former Georgia QB Stetson Bennett sends confident Gunner Stockton message
Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett knows a thing or two about the pressure of being Georgia's starting quarterback. A contingent of Georgia fans did not exactly embrace Bennett until after he won a national championship and even then some fans did not want him to return to school for another season. Bennett proved the doubters wrong again when he won a second consecutive national championship in 2022 to go down in college football lore. Bennett, now with the Los Angeles Rams, was teammates with Georgia's current projected starting quarterback Gunner Stockton in 2022. Stockton has his own share of doubters entering the 2025 season. However, Stetson Bennett is a big believer in Gunner Stockton. "I'm excited to watch," Bennett said on Georgia's 2025 season. "I think Gunner (Stockton) is going to kill it and wish him all the best." Bennett, much like Stockton, did not get an opportunity to start at Georgia until his third season at UGA. His first five starts in 2020 weren't impressive enough for him to maintain the starting job. He eventually won the starting role back in 2021, but it took even longer to win over the fans. Stockton does not face quite as much competition as Bennett did. Stockton is the only player in Georgia's quarterback room with significant experience. Back up Ryan Puglisi didn't appear in a game last season. Stockton will have plenty of doubters to start the season, but Bennett's vote of confidence combined with coach Kirby Smart's belief in Stockton should go a long way for the redshirt junior quarterback. Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo also trusts Stockton, who delivered in a key moment similar to Stetson Bennett. "I thought Gunner was ready for the moment in the SEC championship game," Bobo said." And it's a hard spot to be in." Stockton will have some time to adjust to his role as the starter with Georgia opening the season against two non-Power Four opponents. Georgia fans should expect for Stockton to be prepared regardless of the opponent. "I thought Gunner, last year, took a step during practice of approaching every practice like it was a game, and prepared like he was the starter," Bobo continued. "And those aren't just words. "Yes I do," Rodriguez wrote on her account, which included a photo of a large diamond ring. Ronaldo, 40, and Rodriguez, 31, started dating in 2016. He met Rodriguez while she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid. The couple share five children, Cristiano Jr., twins Eva Maria and Mateo, and daughters Alana and Bella. A jewelry expert told People that Rodriguez's ring has an estimated value of about $5 million. Rodriguez tagged Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the location on her Instagram post. Ronaldo announced in June that he signed a two-year contract with Al Nassr. He scored 25 goals over 30 Saudi Pro League appearances last season.
