Katy Perry Skipping Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sánchez's Wedding Has Nothing To Do With Orlando Bloom

This week, one of the biggest celebrity weddings will be taking place in Venice, Italy, when Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez say their 'I do's.' And while many celebs like Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian will be in attendance, Katy Perry, who's a friend of Sánchez and even attended her Bachelorette Party in Paris in May, won't be making the trip.
But if you're reading this thinking that her absence might have to do with Orlando Bloom, whom she reportedly broke up with after nine years together recently, think again. As it turns out, Perry can't make it because she's right in the middle of the Lifetimes Tour.

On June 26, 27 and 29, the 'Teenage Dream' singer has concerts on the other side of the world in Adelaide, Australia. And, of course, given how far Adelaide is from Venice, it's not a trip she can go on quickly and come back.
So, instead, Perry is making the best of her time 'down under.' On Instagram, she shared some highlights of her time there, including cute pics of her 4-year-old daughter with Bloom, Daisy Dove, and some selfies with a Quokka, a cute animal that only lives in Australia. 'mood: Quokka,' Perry wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, Sánchez sent her friend some love. 'We miss you Katy ❤️,' she wrote.
But while Perry will be miles away from Bezos and Sánchez's glamorous nuptials, Bloom will be in attendance.
In fact, according to TMZ, he's seeing the opportunity to make 'his debut as a single man.' '[Bloom is] the life of the party and he's gonna hit the dance floor hard!' the source told TMZ of the actor's plans.
'90% of the people at the wedding are kinda boring, but 10% are really fun, including Orlando, Leo and Jeff (Bezos),' the source revealed. 'It's gonna be a great party!'
According to Daily Mail, Bloom's insistence on going, despite all the online gossip about their split, might be exactly to send Perry a message. 'He's insistent that he goes, which annoys her because he's not particularly close to either of them,' a source said. 'She feels like it's a 'f— you' to her from him.'
'Katy feels like they're really her friends more than his, and yet he's the one going to the wedding,' the source continued.
