Hellblade 2 PS5 Release Date Window Possibly Leaked
Recently, a couple of known games industry insiders claimed Senua's Saga: was coming to soon. While they clarified they were unsure if the PlayStation version of the Xbox exclusive would be announced during the recent State of Play, some may have had hopes for its reveal at the presentation. While it is still unknown whether Ninja Theory's latest is coming to Sony's current-gen platform, another insider has stoked the rumor mill once more, potentially hinting at a release window for the rumored game.
In a recent BlueSky post from The Verge's Tom Warren, they claim April will be 'a good month for PS5 gamers.' Nothing specific is really said beyond that, but some recent rumors may suggest Hellblade 2 could be set for that month.
As reported earlier this week, known insiders Jez Corden and NateTheHate have both suggested a PS5 version of Hellblade 2 is a lock. Specifically, Corden says it's on its way 'pretty soon', according to his sources. NateTheHate corroborates this by replying to his tweet with a cheeky photo of Senua and a PS5, saying, 'Soon…. very soon.'
'Soon' isn't quite an exact unit of measurement for time, so it's hard to gauge when a Hellblade 2 could release for PS5. Soon could mean tomorrow, or it could mean September. It could also mean April. Truly, this is all very speculative, so we will just have to wait and see when Ninja Theory decides to reveal PS5's next Xbox game.
As Warren's BlueSky post was made the day before the State of Play, it could have been referring to a game from the presentation. Now that the showcase has come and gone, there was one game that did get revealed with an April date. Days Gone Remastered continues the trend of Sony modernizing modern games, if that makes any sense. Anyways, the new version of the Bend Studio game launches on April 25.

Switch 2 Is Shaping Up To Be The Port Machine The Original Never Was
I hope all of you are ready for a lot of PS4, PS5, and Xbox ports arriving on Switch 2 over the next few months, because that seems to be our future. For folks who primarily play on Switch and soon Switch 2, it will be a chance to play a lot of great games that were too much for the OG console to handle, or which arrived via less-than-stellar ports. For everyone else, well, that new Donkey Kong game looks cool... The $450 Nintendo Switch 2 is nearly here, though some people already have their hands on the console ahead of its June 5 launch. Its launch lineup isn't horrible, but it's nothing too impressive either. It mainly features a handful of new, exclusive games, like Mario Kart World, and some upgraded versions of OG Switch games. But the majority of the Switch 2's launch lineup is ports like Cyberpunk 2077. And that's because, unlike the old Switch, Nintendo's new machine is actually going to be able to run these games without compromising visuals and features. Looking at the launch lineup for June 5, of the 25 or so games arriving on day one, about 10 of them are ports of old games that didn't arrive on the original Switch. Stuff like the previously mentioned Cyberpunk 2077, Street Fighter 6, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Split Fiction. Then there are some Switch 2 ports that are replacing or upgrading older Switch ports, including Civilization 7, Fortnite, Hogwarts Legacy, and Hitman: World of Assassination, which was only available as a cloud-powered streaming game on the old machine. There are also ports that are coming after launch, like Star Wars Outlaws in September. It's not surprising that a big chunk of games announced for Switch 2 so far are ports of older titles. The original Switch got plenty of ports during its run, but most AAA games were chopped up and squished onto the aging hardware, resulting in some really ugly conversions. Sure, some of these games, like Doom (2016), ran mostly fine and looked okay on Nintendo's hybrid console, but there was always this feeling when playing these ports that the Switch hardware was being pushed to its limits. And then, when the PS5 and Xbox Series X arrived on the scene in 2020, games started targeting the more powerful hardware, and Switch ports became harder to pull off. As a result, we got some truly gnarly versions of great-looking games. Remember Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch? Yikes. In the last few years, fewer and fewer big games have been making the leap to Switch, primarily because the hardware is so old and outdated that they would be impossible to pull it off, or you'd have to compromise the visuals and performance so much that it wouldn't be worth it. So the Switch 2 is a big deal for a lot of publishers who have been unable to bring some of their recent games to Nintendo's audience, which is often cited as a group of people hungry for new content. And for players, it means they'll receive some fantastic-looking ports. As recently pointed out by Digital Foundry, Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 looks as good (and sometimes better) than the open-world game running on an Xbox Series S or PS4. That's thanks in large part to DLSS, but also the guts of the Switch 2 are just significantly better than those of the Switch. There is more power inside this new console, and that's going to be good news for devs, publishers, and players. All of this does mean that the Switch 2 will likely end up being something of a port machine as publishers race to get their big games running on the new console. That might be annoying for people who buy Nintendo consoles for exclusives and unique experiences, but with Mario Kart World, Metroid Prime 4, and Donkey Kong Bananza on the way, we can feel pretty confident that we'll get plenty of those games, too. They'll just be the outliers among a ton of nice-looking PS5 and Xbox ports. . For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Spicy AI-generated TACO memes are taking over social media because ‘Trump always chickens out'
One easy way to ensure an unflattering nickname has staying power is to act defensive about it. Apparently, the same goes for unflattering acronyms. After multiple news outlets reported on Wednesday morning that Wall Street has embraced a new acronym for approaching the topic of tariffs—TACO, or Trump Always Chickens Out—a reporter asked the president about it during an afternoon press conference. Trump responded apoplectically, scolding the reporter for her 'nasty' question, and admonishing her, 'Don't ever say what you said.' So, naturally, within minutes, the internet was awash with AI-generated images and other memes linking Trump with tacos. It all started on May 2, when Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong coined the phrase in the publication's Unhedged newsletter. 'Regular readers will not be surprised by Unhedged's view that the recent rally has a lot to do with markets realizing that the US administration does not have a very high tolerance for market and economic pressure, and will be quick to back off when tariffs cause pain,' Armstrong wrote, as stocks began recovering just over a month after the U.S.'s ostensible Liberation Day. 'This is the Taco theory: Trump Always Chickens Out.' Even someone with only a cursory understanding of international trade would have probably noticed the pattern by this past weekend, when Trump backtracked on a recently announced 50% tariff threat against the EU. The Streisand effect, wdith a dash of hot sauce Giving this pattern a name so easy to remember, and so devastatingly diminishing, may have predetermined its ubiquity. Although the term had apparently flourished on Wall Street in the weeks since it was first coined, it only broke containment when it was finally written about enough that Trump had to actually respond to it. Now that he's done so, and revealed in the process that the phrase has apparently hit a nerve, it's social media's turn to respond. 'Taco Don' memes are flourishing on X, mostly in the form of AI-generated images. Some of them depict Trump utterly ensconced in tacos or taco-related items. Others still manage to depict Trump as both taco and chicken. Anyone abandoning the AI route and instead searching manually for chicken-adjacent images involving Trump will strike gold in at least one spot. When Trump hosted Saturday Night Live in 2004, he performed in a sketch called 'Donald Trump's House of Wings,' during which the cast dances around him in chicken costumes—something that has not escaped notice on X. Another image from Trump's past has come back to haunt him even more, though, since the TACO acronym emerged. In 2016, then-candidate Trump celebrated Cinco de Mayo by tweeting an image of himself grinning over a Trump Tower Grill taco bowl, fork in hand. That image is now making the rounds again on X and Bluesky in its new context. Even sitting U.S. Senator Tina Smith posted the image on her Bluesky account. What happens from here might feel familiar. When the internet exploded with weird JD Vance memes earlier this year, fans of the vice president attempted to reclaim the narrative by tweeting similar memes to support Vance. Indeed, at least one X user is already trying to repurpose the new TACO acronym to mean 'Trump Always Crushes Opposition.' Whether that version of the phrase will actually gain any traction remains to be seen. In the meantime, meme-lovers, Trump critics, and those who enjoy looking at tacos are eating well.

Elder Scrolls Online Subclassing Looks Ridiculously Flexible And Fun
Elder Scrolls Online Subclassing Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) has always had a relatively flexible class system ever since it launched over a decade ago. For many years now you've been able to build any of the game's classes to fit into any role on a team whether it be damage-focused, tanking, or healing, with a variety of build options. But now, with the debut of the upcoming subclassing system in Update 46 (June 2 for PC/Mac and June 18 for Xbox and PlayStation,) those options are about to explode to offer a ludicrous amount of flexibility far beyond what's already in the game. Currently, when you make a character in Elder Scrolls Online, you must pick a single class and you're stuck with that class forever. If you want to try something else, you'll need to go make a fresh character and start over. That's kind of a bummer for a game that is otherwise very generous about letting you change everything from your name, looks, faction, or even race. With subclassing, you'll have more flexibility and opportunity than ever to really build your character your way by combining up to three different skill trees across all classes onto a single bar. That's 21 different skill trees of several skills each. As the featured image at the top implies, that means you could create an all-out summoner build that utilizes pets from the Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Warden skill trees all combined together. That's wild. There is one small caveat though: to unlock subclassing, you'll need to have at least one character at level 50. Once you reach that milestone, there is a short side quest to ramp you up into the system and then you've got access to the whole feature. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder 'We wanted to introduce a way to allow our players to expand their experiences and try out all the different class skill lines we have introduced since launch,' says Carrie Day, one of the Systems Designers behind the Subclassing system at ZeniMax Online Studios. 'Players who have played on multiple classes and characters will also need to think about these skill lines, and how they might be combined, totally differently than they have for the last 11 years.' Subclassing in Elder Scrolls Online With over 3,000 different combinations, I'd definitely say they've accomplished their goal with this new feature. With the Content Pass structure, Elder Scrolls Online is due to get some massive updates for the rest of this year. Subclassing and Part 1 of the Worm Cult storyline kick off in June, with another dungeon pack on the way in a few months, followed by the Writhing Wall Event which is described as a 'world changing in-game event' for all players. Then Part 2 of the Worm Cult story closes out the year, so it'll be a very busy next six months for ESO.
