Yasmien Kurdi tearfully recounts daughter Ayesha undergoing 6-month therapy after alleged bullying
On Tuesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Yasmien tearfully said the young girl's challenging journey to healing involved six months of continuous therapy.
'It's very helpful for her kasi dahil sa mga panic attacks and anxiety attacks niya,' Yasmien said.
The actress also pulled Ayesha out of the school and enrolled her in homeschooling instead.
'I had to protect her. Tanggalin na,' she said.
Ayesha had to go 'back to zero' and finish her seventh grade lessons in a span of two months.
'Kaya si Daddy Ray nandiyan. Tinutukan niya si Ayesha,' she said, happily sharing that Ayesha even excelled in her subjects, including math.
According to Yasmien, therapy combined with the supportive homeschooling environment paved the way for Ayesha's recovery.
With the therapist's approval, Ayesha was able to return to a big school.
'Kasi she wants to go to volleyball. Kaya noong time, noong therapy niya, pinag-volleyball class namin siya everyday. Pinag-hosting,' Yasmien said. 'Dinamihan ko siya ng activities.'
Ayesha is now also part of her new school's varsity volleyball team.
'Lumalaban sila. Like, I'm really happy for Ayesha,' Yasmien said.
'Though nandun pa rin 'yung mga episodes na nati-trigger pa rin siya and all, but, you know, 'pag may ganon, we go back again sa therapy. But, you know, we're healing slowly,' she said.
In December, Yasmien took to social media to air out the alleged bullying that her daughter experienced from her classmates in Colegio San Agustin (CSA).
CSA, however, said in a statement that "there appears to be no bullying" that happened.
In the same month, Yasmien met with Department of Education chief Sonny Angara "to discuss potential solutions and strategies" to address bullying in schools. — Carby Basina/LA, GMA Integrated News

Kim delos Santos opens up about breakup with ex-fiancé: 'Nawalan ng love'
Kim delos Santos has opened up about her past 11-year relationship with her ex-fiancé and the reason behind their separation. On Monday's episode of 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' the nurse and former actress said that she had a long-term relationship after her split with her ex-husband and "T.G.I.S." co-star Dino Gueverra. 'I had an 11-year relationship. Fiance ko na po. We were supposed to get married, so between Dino and my fiance, it was 18 years. So two guys,' said Kim, who has been single for eight years now. 'Tapos 'non, hindi na ako nag-boyfriend noong nag-break kami ng fiancé ko. Nag-self healing na lang ako." According to Kim, her ex-fiance, also a Filipino based in the United States, became her 'comfort person.' 'Naging comfort ko siya. Parang takot ako sobrang ma-in love, 'yung parang safe lang,' she shared. She admitted that love eventually disappeared in their relationship, saying, "Nawalan ng love, parang naging magkapatid. You run out of love." "Sa kaniya ko naintindihan kung ano naramdaman sa 'kin ni Dino, 'yung masyadong clingy, 'yung laging nakadikit, 'yung parang universe mo 'yung isang tao. That's why hindi na 'ko galit kay Dino. When I looked back, 'yung eight years na [single] ako, I was trying to figure out what am I doing wrong and what's wrong with the relationships? And then I realized, 'yun nga," she shared. "Mabait, love ako, and then nakita ko 'yung parang, that was me with Dino. So nawawala pala 'pag sobra, it will push you away." Kim was married to Dino before they separated in 2004. Following their split, Kim migrated to the United States to study nursing. Before getting married, the two starred in the hit show, "T.G.I.S." where they were known as a popular love team. —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA Integrated News

Kim delos Santos says she hasn't spoken to Dino Guevarra since their split in 2004
Kim delos Santos said she hasn't spoken personally with her ex-husband, Dino Guevarra, since their split in 2004. During Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the former actress was asked about her current status with Dino. "We haven't really spoken, until today. There was one time that I think nag-reach out siya. He did send an email. Things like that. But then after that wala na din," she said. "It was a like a simple parang, 'why did you leave?' I guess he wanted to fix things, this was after I left. I guess he wasn't expecting it. So 'yun lang, pero hindi naman ako nag-reply," Kim added. Kim also shared that Dino added her on Facebook before but she didn't accept his friend request. "Noong time na 'yon bitter pa ako. So hindi ko naman siya in-add. Sabi ko, 'ba't ko naman to i-add 'to? 'Di naman kami close," she said. But after some time, Kim became close friends with Dino's present wife, Karen. "She posted something on Facebook that made me think. Sabi niya, 'Some people made mistakes, but it doesn't mean they're a bad person.' It wasn't about me in my head, or Dino, but then at that point it just hit me na parang you know what. I think it's time for me to talk," she said. Shortly after, Kim sent a message to Karen saying that whatever happened in the past is now done and that she is OK and has accepted the things that happened between her and Dino. "Kasi I was at peace. 'Yung sa aming dalawa ni Dino at that time, natanggap ko na. Nag-start na akong mag-count ng blessings, kasi kung hindi niya ginawa 'yon hindi ako makakapag-school, hindi ako magiging nurse, hindi ko makakasama ang daddy ko, ang pamilya. So it was like everything happened for a reason," Kim said. Although she haven't met and talked to Dino yet, Kim revealed that she already met Karen. "I met her. Nagkita kami sa mall. Nakita ko rin si Antoinette [Taus]. We have a picture together. Then when I was doing a charity event last year, nag-donate siya. She helped me. No questions asked," she shared. Kim and Dino got married in 2002 and separated in 2004. Following their split, Kim migrated to the United States to study nursing.
