Coach Trip legend Brendan Sheerin revealed the horror moment a client died mid-holiday on the 'worst work day of his life'.
The Channel 4 holiday programme, hosted by tour guide Brendan, saw teams of twos - either couples, friends or relatives - travel around different locations.
Pairs would be eliminated from the trip during a group vote, which saw the least popular get kicked out.
With members of the public joining the 66-year-old tour guide for most of the episodes, celebrities also took part in the show for special editions.
But before his 14 years on the show, Brendan worked at a spa in Scarborough when TV boss Andrew Brereton thought up the idea of a coach trip themed show, Metro reported.
He contacted Brendan's manager and asked if she knew anyone who would be perfect for the role of tour guide.

But before his 14 years on the show, Brendan worked at a spa in Scarborough when TV boss Andrew Brereton thought up the idea of a coach trip themed show, Metro reported
She put Brendan forward and soon he was sitting in an interview in London for the job.
It was during the interview when Brendan was asked about his worst day at work.
He told Metro: 'These producers were young kids; they looked about seventeen. They asked me about my worst day at work, and I said when a client died.'
'People do die on holiday, you know, it happens,' the tour guide added.
He was offered the job the next day and admitted his 'stomach churned. I knew my life was about to change'.
The Coach Trip first aired in 2005 and has seen 640 episodes since, but the show's future was up in the air back in 2023.
Channel 4 reportedly revealed that new episodes were not in development.
The Sun previously reported that no new episodes were recorded in the summer of 2022, during the period it is typically filmed in.
A spokesperson told the publication: 'A new series of Coach Trip is not in development at the moment, however it would be untrue to say that Coach Trip is not returning to E4.'
The Coach Trip also attracted an unlikely fan - the late Queen Elizabeth.
Brendan claimed in 2017 the monarch was a huge fan of the game show, so much so that she asked palace aides to record it when she was travelling so that she never had to miss an episode.
Speaking to the Sun 's Bizarre column, Sheerin revealed: 'I've heard the Queen has it recorded in when she's away. It makes me so proud as I love the Queen.'
He added: 'I think she's an amazing lady, especially all the good things she's done for this country. She's phenomenal.'
Sheerin added that Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton are big fans, too.

Coronation Street character left to die alone as Lisa makes an arrest
A life-threatening situation unfolds in upcoming Coronation Street episodes after police officer Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) arrests Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey). Since Brody was released from the secure training centre he's caused a fair amount of trouble in the Street. Almost the first thing he did was to start nicking stuff from the corner shop. His arrogant attitude and apparent determination to follow in the footsteps of the man he considers to be his father, Mick (Joe Layton), has meant he hasn't exactly made a great impression on the local residents. Especially in the aftermath of Mick killing beloved police officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), sympathy for the Michaelis family is in short supply. The situation is complicated for DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), of course, as he believes he could be Brody's biological dad. Recently we saw Kit stopping Brody from stealing wine from a delivery van. Although he just sent Brody on his way, Brody tried to stir up trouble by telling Lisa that Kit was harassing him. Not long after this, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove), Kit and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) came across Brody lying injured in an alley with a broken bottle of whisky by his side. He then had a seizure and wet himself. Kit took him to hospital, where Brody told him that he suffers from epilepsy and often wets himself during a seizure.
