The teaser of Rajkummar Rao's much-awaited film Maalik was unveiled earlier today. Rajkummar in his gangster era promises to be a gritty spectacle to watch out for.
Set against the backdrop of Allahabad in 1988, Maalik follows Rajkummar Rao as he embarks on a ruthless killing spree, showing no mercy.
The teaser promises intense action sequences, umpteen gunfights and a gritty gangster drama. But at the heart of it all, it's the rugged and fierce Rajkummar Rao who truly steals the spotlight.

The teaser opens with a gripping scene, Rajkummar walks down a corridor, rifle in hand, as people run helter-skelter in panic. Moments later, a bloodied and bruised Rajkummar violently thrashes an opponent with a metal container.
He then drags the lifeless body through the street, as the onlookers watch in stunned silence.
Justifying the brutality, he declares, ' Hume farak nahi padhta hai ki logo ko kya lagta hai ki hum villain hai, hero hai. Humari kahani mei hum hero hai. (I don't care whether people think I'm a villain or a hero. In my story, I'm the hero.)'
The teaser opens with a grim voiceover in the background. It says, ' Samaj me do tarah ke log hote hai. 1 joh pasina bahake apna hak ka roti kamata hai aur 1 jo khoon pasina bahake apna hak ka roti chheen leta hai. Hum dusra waala hai. (There are two kinds of people in society. One who earns his bread through hardwork and sweat, and the other who sheds blood and sweat to snatch what he deserves. I am the second kind.)'
Rajkummar is seen performing a series of edge-of-the-seat action sequences, it's a refreshing break for the actor after starring in back-to-back roles set in small towns.

The premise is intriguing, packed with potential for drama. Stolen, directed by Karan Tejpal and co-written by him and Gaurav Dhingra, falls into this category- and the payoff is well worth your time. The plot kicks off with a sharp misunderstanding. A woman named Jhumpa wakes up on a railway platform to find her child kidnapped. Suspicion quickly falls on Raman (Shubham Vardhan), who has just arrived by train. His brother Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee), there to receive him, urges him to stay out of the situation as the police arrive. But Raman chooses to help. What follows is a fast-unfolding series of events that plunge all three- Raman, Gautam, and Jhumpa into escalating danger. The screenplay is taut and skillfully layered, escalating the tension without losing grip. Tejpal's writing gives each actor room to work with, allowing them to embody their roles. Housefull 5 advance booking: Akshay Kumar and gang to see opening with over ₹6 crore, almost 1 lakh tickets sold
Housefull 5 advance booking: Akshay Kumar and his gang are all set to return to the big screen with Sajid Nadiawala's Housefull 5. The much-anticipated film has become a murder thriller this time with multiple endings, featuring multiple killers. It is said to be released on June 6. Ahead of its release, the advance bookings have predicted the fate of Housefull 5. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Housefull 5 has so far sold 96,304 tickets for 11,700 shows across India in all formats. It has collected ₹ 2.85 crore from its ticket sales. Considering blocked seats, Housefull 5 is set to premiere with ₹ ₹ 6.87 crore gross earnings. Regions like Maharashtra and the Delhi NCR dominated the list with maximum revenue of ₹ 1.62 crore and ₹ 1.24 crore respectively from first-day advance booking. Gujarat is right behind them with a revenue of ₹ 64.36 lakh on the list, followed by Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana.
