US fitness influencer Gloria Zamora and date fatally shot by estranged husband in parking lot attack

California fitness influencer Gloria Zamora and her dinner date, Hector Garduno, were fatally shot outside a sushi restaurant on Monday night. Police say her estranged husband, Thomas Alberto Tamayo Lizarraga, carried out the attack before being killed by an off-duty sheriff's deputy.
Zamora, a mother of seven with over 150,000 Instagram followers, was known for sharing fitness tips and motivational content. She had recently discussed her separation from Lizarraga on her podcast HERizon. That evening, she was meeting Garduno, a father of four, for dinner when the violence occurred.
According to the Fontana Police Department, Lizarraga ambushed the couple in the restaurant's parking lot. Officer Steve Reed confirmed the pair had been separated and were going through a divorce.
The attack was witnessed by an off-duty deputy from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, who was driving past the scene. The deputy made a U-turn, confronted Lizarraga, and fatally shot him after witnessing the killings. The investigation is ongoing.
A GoFundMe page created by Zamora's daughter described her mother as a 'light in her community' who inspired women to recognise their strength and worth. 'She always said, 'Women can do anything they set their minds to,' and she lived those words every day,' the tribute reads.
Garduno's family also launched a fundraiser, remembering him as a devoted father and hardworking man 'gone too soon.'

Liver King mugshot released after arrest for terroristic threat against Joe Rogan

Brian Johnson, better known online as the 'Liver King,' was arrested in Austin, Texas, earlier this week for allegedly making a terroristic threat against podcast host Joe Rogan. The 47-year-old YouTuber was reportedly found near Rogan's property, armed with what appeared to be two gold-plated firearms, and referencing a desire to "pick a fight," according to footage he posted on social media. Rogan, who has previously mentioned Johnson on The Joe Rogan Experience but never hosted him as a guest, has not responded publicly to the incident. -Austin Police Department Johnson appeared disheveled and weary in a newly released mugshot—an image starkly contrasting his former presentation as the buff 'CEO of ancestral living.' He stares blankly into the camera, his eyes heavy and his expression devoid of the confidence he once projected online. Since stepping back from YouTube—where he hasn't posted in eight months—Johnson has remained active on Instagram, where he shares increasingly erratic videos. In one recent post, he vaguely referenced his arrest while promoting Blue Scorpion Venom, a product marketed for pain relief. The substance has not been scientifically proven to treat cancer, according to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Johnson continues to allude to a personal conflict with Rogan, referring to the podcaster only as 'some guy' while specifically naming Rogan's comedy venue, The Mothership. He claimed in one post that the 'threat' was actually a misunderstood gesture involving a gift. 'No laws will be broken,' he added, suggesting a desire for a physical confrontation with Rogan remains unresolved. Johnson previously admitted in 2022 to using anabolic steroids, reportedly spending over $11,000 per month to maintain his physique. Concerned fans have urged him to seek help and avoid further public outbursts that could damage his reputation and family legacy. The case remains under investigation by Austin authorities.

Kelley Wolf speaks out after involuntary hold

Kelley Wolf, author, wellness coach, and former Real World: New Orleans star, is speaking out after being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold earlier this month. The 48-year-old reality alum confirmed that she was detained by authorities under a 5150 hold in mid-June after a friend called in a wellness check while she was staying at a resort in Utah. Though not arrested, Wolf was handcuffed and taken for a mental health evaluation. In a candid Instagram post, now deleted, she described the experience as 'traumatizing' but emphasized that she is not struggling with mental illness or addiction. 'There is no diagnosis. No medication. I'm fine. I'm happy. I'm just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150,' she wrote. The incident occurred during her ongoing divorce from actor Scott Wolf. Kelley clarified that she initiated the separation nearly a year ago and is currently navigating the process while co-parenting their three children. She also shared frustrations with the friends who called for help, saying some 'abandoned ship' and failed to follow up. 'All I really needed was a little help. A little humanity,' she wrote, while expressing gratitude for those who stood by her. Kelley's story has sparked broader discussions online about mental health, the limits of wellness culture, and the complexity of emergency intervention laws. For now, Kelley is focusing on healing, staying grounded, and reclaiming her narrative.
