Clark has been out for the last five games after suffering a quad strain on May 24. In her absence, the Fever have gone 2-3, most recently losing to the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, the other Indianapolis basketball team, the Indiana Pacers, is having one of its best seasons. Tyrese Haliburton has guided the Pacers to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000.
The Pacers won Game 1 thanks to a Haliburton game-winner, but dropped Game 2. With the series tied at one apiece, it shifted to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Wednesday's Game 3.
Clark, along with Aliyah Boston and Natasha Howard, sat courtside during the game. In the first half, Clark was seen making the choking gesture, similar to the one Haliburton used against the Knicks in Game 1 of the semifinals.
WNBA fans took notice of Clark's midgame gesture, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.

"She Finn jinx them lol," wrote a fourth.
"Oh great now she's letting to corny run off on her," joked a fifth.
"That ain't gonna age well," posted a sixth.

Clark has appeared in four games for Indiana to begin her second WNBA season, leading the Fever to a 2-2 record. In those games, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.
Up next for Clark and the Fever, a rematch against Breanna Stewart and the defending champion New York Liberty on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Game 4: Pacers look to move 1 win from title, Thunder seeking to show resiliency once again

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana stole Game 1. Oklahoma City bounced back in Game 2. Indiana showed its resiliency in Game 3. And now, it's Game 4 on Friday night — where either the Pacers will move one win from a title, or the Thunder will turn this NBA Finals into a best-of-three to decide which team will hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy sometime in the next few days. Indiana leads the best-of-seven 2-1 going into Game 4, with tipoff set for around 8:40 p.m. EDT. For whatever reason, the Game 4 winner tends to end up winning the finals: It has worked out that way in 15 of the last 19 seasons, though it certainly wasn't the case last year when Dallas beat Boston by 38 points for its lone victory in that matchup. Oklahoma City has the two leading scorers in the series: NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 32 points per game, and Jalen Williams is averaging 20.7 per game. Indiana is doing it with balance: The Pacers have seven players averaging double figures, with Pascal Siakam (18.3) and Tyrese Haliburton (17.7) leading the way. Saturday will be a travel day. The teams will practice in Oklahoma City on Sunday, then play Game 5 there on Monday night.

How to watch Dallas Wings vs Las Vegas Aces: TV/stream info, preview, tip off time

The Dallas Wings travel to Las Vegas to take on the Las Vegas Aces tonight at 10 PM ET at the Michelob Ultra Arena. This is the first official matchup between the pair this season. During a May 2 preseason game, the Aces came out on top 112-78. The last time the two teams faced off during the 2024 season was back in September, when the Aces also won 98-84. Paige Bueckers is back, but Wings still struggling Sitting dead last in the Western Conference, the Wings (1-10) are coming off a six-game losing streak, their worst start to the season since 2012. The Wings' last win came during a 109-87 game against the Connecticut Sun on May 27. On Wednesday night, they fell 93-80 to the Phoenix Mercury, despite the eagerly awaited return of Paige Bueckers, who missed four games due to the WNBA concussion protocol/illness. Bueckers put up a historic performance, scoring a career-high 35 points in her return (22 in the first quarter) and became the fourth Wings rookie to reach 30-plus points in a single game. Bueckers now joins Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark as the only two rookies in WNBA history to record a game with 35 points and five 3-pointers made. She also became the third player in WNBA history to record a 35-point game within their first 10 games, joining Ace's A'ja Wilson & former Chicago Sky player, Chennedy Carter. However, the Wings are still struggling on both ends of the court, going 5-of-19 from the 3 vs the Mercury. Besides Bueckers, the rest of the Wings went 16 of 48 (33%) from the field. Mary Omatiga, A'ja Wilson doubtful for Aces, who look to end losing streak Fourth in the Western Conference, the Aces (4-4) are also fresh off a loss on Wednesday night, falling 97-89 to the Los Angeles Sparks for their first game in a three-game home stand. They're on a two-game losing streak, also falling 95-68 to the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday. Against the Sparks, Aces fought back from a 20-point deficit, with Chelsea Gray putting up a season-high 28 points and Jackie Young tied her career-high of 34 points, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Aces star A'Ja Wilson left the game with a head injury during the third quarter and her status is doubtful for the matchup tonight. Before she left the court, Wilson went 9 of 10 at the free-throw line to finish with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes.
