‘Bhaukaal Se Pehle…': Did Divyenndu Hint At An Update On Mirzapur: The Film? Check It Out

News183 days ago
Divyenndu hints at exciting news about Mirzapur: The Film, sparking buzz among fans eager for updates on the next big chapter of the hit series.
Prime Video's flagship show, Mirzapur, became one of the groundbreaking series in India, and the love for the franchise grew so much that the makers confirmed a standalone film. After three blockbuster seasons, the makers announced Mirzapur: The Film is officially in the works. While it's been a while since there has been any update about the movie, it looks like Divyenndu, aka Munna Bhaiya, has given an update.
Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu in their now-iconic roles of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu, and Munna, the show becomes the first-ever Indian OTT show to get a film adaptation. As fans waited with bated breath to watch the gripping drama, Divyenndu took to his Instagram and shared a series of pictures sitting in front of a beautiful hut and in the midst of a calming surrounding, but it's the caption that hinted at something big.
Divyenndu's Instagram Post
While sharing the pictures, Divyenndu wrote, 'BHAUKAAL se pehle ki SHANTI." For those who are unaware, Divyenndu's character of Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur often used the word 'Bhaukaal" while speaking, which means this could be a hint that the actor is starting the shoot of the film soon.
This caption didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed netizens who started speculating. One wrote, 'Bhaukaal hone wala hai 💀." 'Munna Bhaiya is back," another one wrote. A third fan shared, 'Jalwa h apka🔥."
About Mirzapur: The Film
The news of Mirzapur: The Film has come after the show completed three seasons. The Amazon Prime Video series streamed its first season in 2018 and became a rage instantly. The series returned for the second season during the pandemic. The third season was released with much fanfare earlier this year.
Speaking about taking the series to the big screen, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment said, 'It is a landmark milestone for us to bring the quintessential Mirzapur experience to our audiences, yet again, but this time on the big screen. Throughout three successful seasons, this acclaimed franchise has struck all the right chords with fans through its powerful storytelling and memorable characters, from the likes of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Bhaiya, and Munna Bhaiya, to name a few. We believe that adapting such a treasured series into a film will undoubtedly make for an even more engrossing watch, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the world of Mirzapur like never before. We are stoked to collaborate with Prime Video, once again, and look forward to delivering a grand cinematic experience, which will truly live up to the expectations of our dedicated fanbase."

Shalini Passi says she shaved her head multiple times but it always came back curly: ‘Straight hair was seen as tidy'

Socialite and reality TV star Shalini Passi is a big champion of embracing one's natural beauty. In a recent podcast, she spoke about her own journey with accepting her naturally curly hair and how people still tell her to change her hairstyle, something she is not willing to entertain. Cultural curator Shalini Passi during inauguration of a clinic, in Noida.(PTI) Shalini Passi's hair acceptance journey Speaking on Get Skin Smart with Shaily, Shalini spoke about shaving her head multiple times and how it always came back curly. "I never straightened my hair permanently, but I used to blow-dry it. When I shaved my head and my new hair grew back, it came in curly again. I shaved more times after that, and of course, it stayed curly — we're from the Indian subcontinent, and curly hair is common here. 'The way Western media, and media in general, portray straight hair as perfect is misleading. Straight hair on camera takes hours to achieve, whether it's an updo or a simple style. Do you really have the time to first color it to the 'right' shade, then straighten it, and still keep touching it up during a shoot? People don't realize this is all manufactured — shampoo companies and brands have turned this into a product, and we've come to associate beauty with straight hair,' she said. The Fabulous Wives vs Bollywood Wives star added, 'Growing up in the '80s and '90s, straight hair wasn't just seen as beautiful — it was considered poised, tidy, and well-presented. But that's not the truth. This is my hair. Even after the series came out, so many people told me, 'We love you, but change your hairstyle.' My response? I'm not going to spend two hours drying and touching up my hair every day. This is what you get,' she added. About Shalini Passi Shalini Passi is a design collector, art patron, and fashion figure based in Delhi. Her husband Sanjay Passi is the chairman of Pasco Group, which has been described as 'a leading name in Tata Motors-certified dealerships in North India'. She featured on the reality show with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Neelam Kothari and Bhavana Panday.

Viral video: Daughter fools mother, says Labubu doll is a Chinese god; what happens next will shock you

A witty post on Twitter (now X) has gone viral after a user shared a video of an Indian woman worshipping a Labubu doll, believing it to be a Chinese god. According to the caption, the woman's daughter told her this, and she instantly placed the doll alongside Hindu deities in her home shrine. 'An Indian girl told her mother that Labubu is a chinese god. Just hearing this she started worship Labubu. Jai Labubu,' came the quirky caption. The clip, posted on August 13, shows the woman offering prayers with full devotion. The viral video post has already crossed 1.2 million views, with many calling it a light-hearted example of cultural mix-ups. Social media users flooded the comments with amused reactions. Some joked about how 'everything becomes God' in such situations. 'Someone said it, people believed it, now it's a god…' posted one user. 'I only see cultured people, can't say about what others see. At the end of the day, a stick is a stick that does the job. Another wrote, 'It shows how accepting the innocent Santani Hindu is. Heart warming as much as funny too.' 'She is innocent…that is all there is to this video. Why mock a religion (no matter whose it is) and more specifically why mock a mother's innocence?' came from another. Another user remarked, 'Shouldn't she be worshipping an Indian god? Worshipping a foreign god may be nice, but it's a foreign god. She needs to worship her own god in her region as those gods have jurisdiction there.' 'This is the last generation of innocence,' wrote another. Labubu is a toy character created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung in 2015. Inspired by Nordic folklore and tales of elves and forest spirits, Lung blended Asian and European influences to design Labubu's unique look. It has nine sharp teeth, a wide smile, pointy ears and playful eyes. Labubu first appeared in Lung's story 'The Monsters' and later became popular worldwide after a 2019 collaboration with the Chinese toy company Pop Mart. Fans, including celebrities like BLACKPINK's Lisa and Rihanna, collect Labubu in various forms such as plush toys and keychains.
