Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 50, shows off Mounjaro weight loss in sexy swimsuit
The 50-year-old model and reality star sizzled in a black-and-white zebra-stripe swimsuit that showcased her svelte figure and prominent cleavage.
She put her weight-loss results on display on the same day that her ex-husband Travis Barker 's wife Kourtney Kardashian was praised by her fans for not tweaking her own swimsuit photo, in contrast with her famous sisters.
Shanna's impressively slimmed-down figure was partly the result of the weight-loss drug Mounjaro, which she admitted to taking in June of 2024.
She admitted at the time that she had turned to a pharmaceutical solution to her rapid weight gain that she attributed to her grief over the death of both of her parents in 2023.
Mounjaro is the version of the generic injectable drug tirzepatide that is approved by the FDA as a diabetes treatment, while an identical version of the drug is marketed as Zepbound for weight loss and obstructive sleep apnea treatment
Shanna Moakler, 50, looked shockingly youthful in new photo she posted Friday that highlighted her recently weight loss from the drug Mounjaro
The medication, which is meant to be taken in combination with diet and exercise, clearly gave Shanna the results she was seeking based on her newest photos.
Her one-piece Fashion Nova swimsuit featured a string halter top and a deep plunging neckline to showcase her bust.
The suit featured a risqué high-cut bottom and a sash knotted around her taut tummy to hold it in place.
The former Meet The Barkers star displayed a heavily made-up face — which made her look like a dead ringer for her daughter Alabama Barker — and particularly plump lips that were framed by her pin-straight blond locks.
''It's no better to be safe than sorry,'' 🖤 suit by @fashionnova,' she captioned her post.
Fans in the comments were complimentary about Shanna's outfit and figure.
'You look incredible!' gushed one fan.
'So gorggg!!' wrote another commenter.
One user wrote that she looked like 'the definition of a hot mama 🔥🔥🔥🔥.'
In June of last year, Shanna shared that she had begun taking Mounjaro after putting on a significant amount of weight in the wake of the deaths of her parents.
After struggling with the loss of her mother, Gail, in January 2023, followed by her father, John, just seven months later, the reality star recalled falling into 'a very, very dark place.'
'I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s***,' the mom-of-three recalled to People at the time. 'I was so devastated, and I missed my f***ing mom and dad. I was like, "I'm going to f***ing eat the pain away."'
She noted that her diet became worse after also enduring an uptick in paparazzi run-ins after news broke that her former spouse's wife, Kourtney Kardashian, was hospitalized for emergency surgery to save her baby's life.
'It was on another level, and I didn't know how to deal [with it],' she explained of the 'Kardashian media circus.' 'I was sad. And I just missed my parents so much.'
At the time she also posted a before-and-after photo of herself that highlighted her weight loss after going on Mounjaro.
Shanna doesn't appear to have revealed how many pounds she has been able to shed since going on the drug, but her latest swimsuit photos suggest she has been keeping up her impressive progress.
Later on Friday, Shanna shared a video to her Instagram page poking fun at fan perceptions of her as being lazy and spending most of her day in bed.
'I saw on your MTV show all you do is stay in bed,' she captioned a clip of herself in the voice of an unseen critic.
She claimed that she played up her bed rotting as part of a storyline for Meet The Barkers decades earlier, but she was far more active than how she was presented on the series.
'Couch potatoes walked so bed goddesses could run… I'm not lazy, I'm horizontal healing. Stay mad,' Shanna captioned the clip.
After showing off her stellar figure, the blond beauty emphasized how well another aspect of her life was going by posting a sweet photo of her boyfriend, the actor Greg Vaughn, to her Instagram Stories.
She shared a black-and-white mirror selfie he had snapped, captioning it: 'My bf calls me from work and taughts Me with his hotness it's a problem [sic].'
Shanna revealed in April that she was dating Greg, 51, who won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2018 for his work on Days Of Our Lives.
'I know we could both go on with our lives and we'd both be fine. But I've seen what we could be like back together. And I choose us" @thegreg_vaughan ⚓️❤️,' she wrote at the time.
Although the actor is best known for his work on soap operas, including The Young And The Restless, General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives, he has also appeared in multiple films and was part of the main cast for season two of Charmed.

Jennifer Aniston: We were mourning Matthew Perry a long time before his death
Friends actress Jennifer Aniston has said it felt like she had been mourning her co-star Matthew Perry 'for a long time' before his death due to his struggles with addiction. Perry, who was one of the most familiar faces on television, died aged 54 from the 'acute effects of ketamine' in October 2023, according to a post-mortem examination. Advertisement While Perry's on-screen character Chandler Bing brought joy to many, he had spoken candidly about his struggle with drug and alcohol addiction when filming the series. Speaking about his addiction, Aniston told US magazine Vanity Fair: 'We did everything we could when we could. Stars of Friends – Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston (PA) 'But it almost felt like we'd been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight. 'As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there's a part of me that thinks this is better. I'm glad he's out of that pain.' Advertisement The actress played Rachel Green in the hit US sitcom – which also starred Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc. Aniston said: 'What helped raise me is something I got to put into the world and help other people. If (Friends) was the only thing on my resume, I would be very happy and blessed.' A post-mortem report summary said Perry was receiving 'ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety', with his last known treatment one-and-a-half weeks prior to his death. The medical examiner ruled that 'the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy', but was not able to specify the 'exact method of intake' in Perry's case. Advertisement A woman charged with selling Perry the dose of ketamine that killed him is headed for a September trial. Jasveen Sangha, who prosecutors say was known to her customers as the Ketamine Queen, is charged with five counts of ketamine distribution, including one count of distribution resulting in death. The Morning Show star Aniston also spoke to the magazine about the media frenzy she faced in the 2000s, a time when her high-profile relationship with Brad Pitt hit the headlines, particularly amid their divorce in 2005. Aniston said: 'It was such juicy reading for people. If they didn't have their soap operas, they had their tabloids. She added: 'I didn't have a strong enough constitution to not get affected by it. We're human beings, even though some people don't want to believe we are. 'They think, You signed up for it, so you take it. But we really didn't sign up for that.' A man was recently charged with stalking Aniston and crashing his car through the front gate of her home, but a judge ruled he was mentally incompetent to stand trial. Advertisement Referencing this, Aniston said: 'People are out of their minds. Who wants to put that energy out there.' She added that her security team is 'not glamorous in any way. It's a necessity'. Read the full story in Vanity Fair's September issue and on

Love Island's Arabella Chi shows off her figure in a crochet bikini in Palma just three months after welcoming baby daughter
Arabella Chi showed off her figure during a trip to Palma, Majorca, on Monday just three months after welcoming a baby daughter. The former Love Island star, 34, posed for photos wearing a white crochet bikini while relaxing at the beach. Arabella, who recently revealed she kept exercising right up until giving birth, wore a full face of makeup. She clutched on to her sunglasses while laying on a sun lounger before posing for a close up. The TV personality captioned the update: 'Getting my vitamin D.' Arabella welcomed her baby daughter Gigi with businessman Billy Henty in May. And as an avid fitness lover, she later revealed that being pregnant did not stop her from hitting the gym to train. During an Instagram Q&A last week, Arabella was asked by a fan: 'Are you restricted at all getting back to gym/cardio work since giving birth?' She said: 'I actually trained right up until 39 weeks. So I was able to train until like literally right up until I gave birth and then I gave my body a month off and then I started doing really light training again, like pilates, and I got signed off by the doctor at six weeks. 'So I've been really, really lucky in being able to get right back into training. I haven't really done that much cardio I tend to just do long walks with Astro [her dog], I don't think my body could take going back to Barry's just yet.' Arabella also opened up about her feelings regarding having more children. Asked if herself and Billy will have more kids in the future, Arabella said: '100%. I mean it's something that we haven't really thought about at the moment but we've always said that we want more than one baby - but I think right now we're just focusing on little Gigi. 'Because she is an absolute dream and angel and blessing and we're just enjoying it being the three of us, plus Astro.' Arabella also revealed her family is set for another major life change. 'And we're actually moving to Dubai next month so there's a lot of change going on at the moment and I'm looking forward to just being settled and just enjoying new life in Dubai,' she added. Arabella recently told of how boyfriend Billy had a 'new level of respect' for her she endured a 16 hour labour during birth of their first child. Speaking in an interview with OK! magazine, she gave an insight into her birth experience and said: 'The second she was born life made sense. Billy cried. I cried. Everyone cried! He said to me afterwards, "I've got a new level of respect for you". 'People forget I went through 16 hours of labour. They see one image and assume it was glamorous. It wasn't. I was sweating, exhausted, saying to my mum, "I've got nothing left to push".'

'But it almost felt like we'd been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight. 'As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there's a part of me that thinks this is better. I'm glad he's out of that pain.' In his memoir, Perry detailed his battle with painkillers and alcohol as he worked on the Friends set. By early 2000, the actor said he was "taking so many pills that I couldn't leave my bedroom." However, Perry revealed he believed he could hide the bad habits, as he was still able to show up to work and remember his lines. 'Ketamine Queen' faces trial over Matthew Perry's death - everything you need to know But that didn't stop his friend Aniston from calling him out. Perry said she came to his Friends trailer and said one simple sentence, "I know you're drinking." "I had long since gotten over her — ever since she started dating Brad Pitt, I was fine — and had worked out exactly how long to look at her without it being awkward, but still, to be confronted by Jennifer Aniston was devastating," Perry wrote. "And I was confused." Timeline of Matthew Perry's case Here is a timeline on the progress of Matthew Perry's case since his death: Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub by his assistant on October 28, 2023. He was pronounced dead at the scene after firefighters lifted him from the hot tub. Perry was 54 at the time of his death. His funeral was held at Forest Lawn cemetery in Hollywood Hills on November 3. On December 15, 2023, Perry's death was ruled as an accident from the "acute effects of ketamine." The Los Angeles Police Department launched a criminal investigation in December to determine how Perry obtained the drugs that took his life. The LAPD has since been working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Postal Inspection Service to re-trace the line of supply of the ketamine. He told his co-star that he had been trying to hide it, but she revealed those efforts were for not. "'We can smell it,' she said, in a kind of weird but loving way, and the plural 'we' hit me like a sledgehammer," Perry said. Perry later said he was extremely grateful for Aniston throughout that tumultuous period. As he checked himself into rehab and continued on the long path to sobriety, Perry said Aniston would check on him. "She was the one that reached out the most," he said to Diane Sawyer in an October 2022 interview. "You know, I'm really grateful to her for that." A doctor recently pleaded guilty to giving Matthew Perry ketamine in the month leading up to the Friends star's horrific overdose death. Dr. Salvador Plasencia admitted to contributing to the tragic death of the 54-year-old actor whom he branded a "moron" in sick texts. The California doctor had been charged in the 2023 overdose death of the Friends star. He pleaded guilty to four counts of illegal distribution of the prescription anesthetic ketamine. He was one of five people charged in connection with Perry 's tragic death. According to prosecutors and co-defendants, Plasencia illegally supplied Perry with a large amount of ketamine starting about a month before his death on October 28, 2023. According to co-defendant Dr. Mark Chavez, who has also pleaded guilty to taking part in the drug exchange, Plasencia in a text message mocked the actor as a "moron" who could be exploited for money. In an exchange between Plasencia and Chavez, they discussed how much they were going to charge Perry, with Plasencia writing, "I wonder how much this moron will pay" and "Lets [sic] find out." 5 5
