Shocking moment huge ‘Wild West' brawl erupts in middle of street before machete-wielding thug tries to stab two men

THIS is the horrifying moment a thug pulled out a machete during a mass brawl in the middle of a residential street. The brawl broke out on Showell Green Lane in Sparkhill, Birmingham at around 7.30pm on August 13. 7 A mass brawl broke out in Birmingham on August 13 Credit: SWNS 7 Four men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder Credit: SWNS 7 A man wielding a machete can be seen rushing into the fight Credit: SWNS 7 He appeared to attack two men while they were on the ground Credit: SWNS One of the men involved in the fight is wielding a machete, which he uses to try and stab two of the men. He can be seen in the video wearing a grey sweatshirt and black track suit bottoms. Several men are forcefully pushed into cars lining the residential street. The man rushes into the fight, knife drawn, as he tries to slash at a man wearing a white vest. It appears to strike him on the back before the assailant walks away from the brawl. As a group of men tumble to the ground during the fight, the knife-wielding thug can be seen standing near the bus stop. He begins waving the knife in the air as the fight escalates. Once some of the men get up from the ground and start walking away, the man with the knife rushes towards the two still struggling. Another man intervenes, moving him to the other side of the road as the fight breaks apart. A backlog of cars has piled up as the mass brawl blocks the road. Wild video shows brawl on Carnival Cruise ship as passengers throw punches in row over 'chicken tenders' Others motorists were forced to swerve around the men, with blaring horns heard in the video. The cause of the fight is currently unknown after it broke out in a garden, with other men brawling in the road. Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured despite attempts by the man wielding the weapon. One unnamed witness said: "It was like a Wild West saloon brawl, there were bodies everywhere as the men rolled around the ground fighting." They said that the men had been "talking in a quite animated way" before the fight broke out. "From then on it was just carnage. All hell broke loose. There were fights breaking out all over the place." They added that the area is mostly populated by families, and that fighting like this is "pretty shameful". Although the witness didn't see the weapon during the fight, he said after seeing the video: "It's frightening to think that there are morons like this walking around with weapons - he could easily have killed someone or caused them serious injury." 7 After the attack the fight quickly broke apart, with the men driving off Credit: SWNS 7 It led to a backlog of traffic as the group blocked the road Credit: SWNS 7 The cause of the fight is currently unknown Credit: SWNS Another resident said that they were afraid to go out at night because of how dangerous the streets have become. Witnesses in the video can be heard criticising the group. One can be heard saying "Take the beef home" while another adds "F***ing stupid". The fight ends just as quickly as it began, with most of the men driving away. Following the brawl, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said that four men, aged 23, 22, and two aged 20, had been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They have since been bailed with strict conditions while enquiries continue. Police have asked witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting crime number 20/342846/25. It followed several near misses throughout the high stakes police chase. Advertisement Edwards was driving a silver Mercedes C200 when traffic cops tried to pull him over on April 27, 2025. Instead, he led them on a reckless road race during which he nearly rammed a police car off the road. As he reached speeds of 130mph along the 60mph dual carriageway, dash-cam footage shows Edwards nearly forcing a police car off the road as they pass a broken-down vehicle near a junction. Maintaining his 60mph speed, he races through a residential area, drives the wrong way round roundabouts and mounts a pavement. Fears Reggie the dolphin is ‘targeting swimmers' after ‘scaring woman to death' as expert warns ‘it can snap'

A WILD dolphin known as 'Reggie' has left swimmers terrified after reportedly targeting women in wetsuits — with experts warning the playful mammal 'could snap' at any moment. The lone bottlenose dolphin was first spotted in Lyme Bay, Dorset, on August 3 when he delighted a family by flipping onto his back and asking for belly rubs. 7 Swimmers were left shocked after a previously playful dolphin turned on them Credit: SWNS 7 Image shows the dolphin jumping on top of a woman swimming off the beach in Lyme Regis Credit: SWNS 7 Human interaction can cause dolphins to lose their natural caution, which in turn can lead to injury, aggression, or even death Credit: SWNS The clip quickly went viral and dozens of tourists flocked to the area hoping to meet the playful mammal for themselves. But excitement has now turned to alarm after experts warned Reggie could lash out at any moment. The dolphin has already been blamed for terrifying two swimmers after repeatedly leaping on top of them and pushing one woman's head under the water. In shocking footage from August 14, the frightened swimmer can be heard crying out: "It scared me to death! Oh my goodness!" before being shoved below the waves. Rhys Paterson, 32, who was out boating with his brother Gareth, said they were forced to step in and pull the women to safety. The development director, from Lyme Regis, said: "We saved two swimmers who were fairly deep, where the dolphin kept jumping on them. "The dolphin was basically drowning this woman – it kind of jumped on her back four times." He added: "People need to understand that it's not an amusement arcade. It's a wild animal. It can snap all of a sudden if it wants to." Reggie has also been seen carrying nasty gashes — thought to be from a boat's propeller. Now officials fear the growing crowds of people desperate for a close encounter are making the dolphin's behaviour worse. Orca trainer screamed 'I don't want to die' as she was ripped apart by trio of bloodthirsty killer whales The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has issued a stark warning to the public. In a Facebook post, they said: "We're increasingly concerned about a lone dolphin spotted in Lyme Bay following multiple potential marine wildlife disturbance offences. "Never swim with, touch, feed, or approach dolphins. If a dolphin approaches you, calmly leave the area." They added that human interaction can cause dolphins to lose their natural caution, which in turn can lead to injury, aggression, or even death. Jess Churchill-Bissett, MMO's head of marine conservation, said: "Repeated human interaction inevitably disrupt their natural behaviours, increasing stress and potentially altering their temperament. "Once habituated to humans, dolphins can lose their natural wariness, a change that can be fatal. "This is something we could already be seeing in Lyme Bay." Other wildlife experts have echoed the alarm. The Whale and Dolphin Conservation charity stressed: "We have to reiterate: NEVER swim with dolphins, in the wild or in captivity. It is not good for them or us. Respect their space." Liz Sandeman, co-founder of the Marine Connection charity, warned: "This is the worst case of a dolphin becoming rapidly habituated to close human interaction in 20 years in the UK." But despite repeated pleas, new videos have emerged showing paddleboarders and even young children getting within touching distance of Reggie. One horrified witness wrote online: "We went down last night and watched from the shore. 7 Dolphins, whales and porpoises are legally protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Credit: SWNS 7 Disturbing or approaching them too closely can result in six months in prison or an unlimited fine Credit: SWNS "We were shocked to see so many paddleboarders out there — around 20 — and they were all following the dolphin and not leaving him alone." Experts say bottlenose dolphins are powerful creatures that can grow up to 13ft long and weigh 650kg. Although they may appear playful, they are capable of seriously injuring people with a sudden flick of their tail or a head butt from their beak. Lucy Babey, director of programmes for charity ORCA, said: *"They are powerful marine mammals and have been known to seriously injure people, even if unintentionally. "In some cases the dolphin's behaviour has escalated and people have unfortunately been killed."* Dolphins, whales and porpoises are legally protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Disturbing or approaching them too closely can result in six months in prison or an unlimited fine. Despite the risks, holidaymakers continue to flock to Lyme Bay in the hope of swimming with the dolphin. 7 'Once habituated to humans, dolphins can lose their natural wariness, a change that can be fatal'
