Did we just feel a chill in the air?
Selma Blair, originator of the role of Elle Woods' law school nemesis in 'Legally Blonde,' says she is ready to bend and snap back into the role of the initially icy Vivian Kensington. When Elle (Reese Witherspoon) enrolled at Harvard Law School ("What, like it's hard?"), desperate to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis) in the 2001 feature, she was crushed to learn that he'd already moved on with Vivian (Blair), a brunette no less, in need of mascara and "some serious highlights."
Blair did not appear in the film's 2003 sequel, 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde,' when Elle ventured to D.C. to outlaw animal testing. The 52-year-old actress has been able to return to her craft, amid her battle with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), now that she's increased her stamina and is relapse-free. MS is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system. Those with RRMS can experience flare-ups during which symptoms are exacerbated for a period of time.

'Now I maybe take two naps a week, whereas before it was like four naps a day,' Blair says. And having a script decreases her vocal dystonia, which makes her speech sound strained. 'So that was a relief to learn, 'Oh, maybe I can go on a set again. I can deal with this,'' she says.
Blair says the jury is still out as to whether she'll appear in 'Legally Blonde 3.' A draft of Elle's next chapter has been completed, co-writer Mindy Kaling confirmed to Variety, but Blair says she hasn't heard anything about her potential involvement.
'I'll just keep my fingers crossed that that's some joyful thing that I could have a cameo in, at least, and be a part of that for a moment,' she says. 'I'd love to see Vivian Kensington again. It was so much fun.'
Blair will appear with Judd Hirsch in 'Stay Forte,' a film which dramatizes the kidnapping and deaths of three Israeli hostages. Blair last appeared in the 2021 feature, 'Far More,' also starring Adrian Grenier and Drea de Matteo.

Stephen King-produced 'Institute' to premiere on MGM+ July 13

June 6 (UPI) -- The Stephen King-produced series The Institute is slated to premiere on MGM+ July 13. Directed and produced by Jack Bender, the adaptation of King's 2019 novel of the same name will star Mary-Louise Parker, Ben Barnes, Joe Freeman and Simone Miller. The story follows "teen genius Luke Ellis (Freeman), who is kidnapped and awakens at The Institute, a facility full of children who all got there the same way he did and who are all possessed of unusual abilities," a synopsis said. "In a nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (Barnes) has come looking to start a new life, but the peace and quiet won't last, as his story and Luke's are destined to collide." The Life of Chuck, based on a novella by King, is now in theaters and a series based on King's best-selling book, Carrie, is in the works at Prime Video.

'AJLT': Here's Where You've Seen Carrie's Hot Gardener (And Tom Hardy Lookalike) Logan Marshall-Green Before

It's a tough time being a fan of And Just Like That... and its leading lady, Carrie Bradshaw. So far this season we've had that hand lick, a bonnet and in episode two, we had to withstand a plague of rats. But thankfully, Carrie finally came up with the goods hiring landscape architect to the stars, Adam Gardens, played by Logan Marshall-Green. FIND OUT MORE ON ELLE COLLECTIVE After her romance novel writing is interrupted by the aforementioned rats in the beautiful garden of her Gramercy home (we're completely obsessed - the wisteria!), in her determination to look underneath the perfection, Carrie hires a string of professionals to try and sort her garden (clearly the gardening bloom boom hasn't reached New York's great and good). In comes Adam, played by Marshall-Green. And as she magicked him straight off her own page, he enters by saving Carrie's cat, Shoe. It seems viewers were thrilled to see him too, with fans swooning all over social media. In the US, where viewers can see the latest AJLT episode at a more sociable hour than the UK's 2.05 am drop, Marshall-Green was the top trending topic on Google for viewers of the show. And with there being more pictures of Adam online - and that garden a long way from done - it looks like the actor could be a recurring cast member in season three. So where have you seen the actor before? Here's what you need to know. Marshall-Green has starred in a number of TV shows and films across his varied career, but chances are you may remember him from way back, when he starred in The O.C. The actor starred as Trey Atwood, Ryan's big brother in nine episodes, after he replaced another actor. He was a crucial part in the show, when he attacked Marisa in season two, before she shot him at the end of the series. He had a six-episode role in 24, and was in series including Damnation, The Defeated and Big Sky. He's also appeared in big-budget films like Carry-On, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Prometheus. While the likeness isn't maybe as obvious in his beared Adam Gardens guise, throughout his career, people have compared him to Brit actor Tom Hardy, with some claiming it's hard to tell them apart. And while, no, he's not related to Hardy, he does have a twin brother - Taylor Marshall-Green. The likeness between Marshall-Green and Hardy is so commonplace, that he has previously spoken about it. 'I'd be honoured to be in the same sentence as Tom Hardy,' he's told ELLE previously. 'I've been a twin since the day I was born - fraternal, but we look a lot alike - so I've already been mixed up with another man my entire life.' Brianne Howey's Georgia Faces A Life Sentence And Murder Trial In ‘Ginny & Georgia' Season 3 Trailer

Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 3 of one of its biggest young adult hits, Ginny & Georgia, Season 3 of which could be headed down a dark path. The show returns to Netflix June 5 with 10 episodes. Season 2 ended on quite a few chaotic notes, including Georgia (Brianne Howey) getting arrested at her fairytale wedding to Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter). More from Deadline 'Ginny & Georgia' Season 3: Everything We Know So Far 'Ginny & Georgia' Season 3 Casts Ty Doran & Noah Lamanna Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin Set As Host Of 'American Gladiators' Reboot On Amazon's Prime Video 'You know what I loved about your wedding?' Jennifer Robertson's Ellen Baker tells Georgia in the kitchen of the Baker household. 'It wasn't this cookie cutter copy and paste affair, it was very memorable.' 'Especially the part where I was arrested,' Georgia adds. To be clear, Georgia did commit the murder of Tom Fuller, husband of Cynthia Fuller (Sabrina Grdevich), whom she smothered in Season 2 while he was already ailing and in hospice. And her son Austin (Diesel La Torraca) witnessed her do it while he was playing a game of hide and seek with Cynthia's son Zach. He remained hidden in the closet while Tom's monitor flatlined. Austin's father Gil (Aaron Ashmore) also came to town last season, adding another wrinkle to the already layered life of Georgia Miller. 'My mom's awaiting your murder trial, and everyone at school is looking at me like I'm in the circus,' Ginny (Antonia Gentry) tells her best friend Maxine Baker (Sara Waisglass). 'It's fine.' 'College essay writes itself,' Max jokes. She later expresses deep concern for Ginny to the other two members of their friend group, MANG, Nora (Chelsea Clark) and Abby (Katie Douglas). Until her trial, Georgia will be under house arrest with an ankle monitor, which starts beeping when it needs to be charged. There seems to be tension between Paul and Georgia, though he can be spotted running with Ginny. RELATED: 'I've always known my mom was different,' Ginny's voice plays over scenes of her walking through a parking lot and being judged by her fellow students. 'There's more to her that people don't see.' 'Everyone thinks I'm a violent, unhinged monster,' Howey's voice plays over a scene of her having what looks like a panic attack. 'You can't give up,' Raymond Ablack's Joe, owner of Blue Farm, tells Georgia. 'At least it can't get any worse, right? Except if I go to prison, that would be worse,' she says with Joe next to him. 'I'm not a bad person, but if you come face to face with bad, you become a little bad yourself.' 'Mom needs me,' Ginny tells her father Zion (Nathan Mitchell). 'You think you have the whole story, but you don't.' Paul doesn't want any more secrets between him and Georgia. 'I've been defending my mom to everyone. I'm trying so hard to protect her, but I don't even know if it's the right thing to do,' Ginny says to a solemn looking Marcus (Felix Mallard), who had his own mental health struggles at the end of last season. 'I don't want my mom to go to prison.' Ellen Baker reaches out to comfort Ginny. 'You think she did this?' Paul asks Zion. The clip ends with Georgia chipperly declaring that she and Ginny are 'ride or die,' which they have been since the show's first season. RELATED: Created by Sarah Lampert, Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia gained a new showrunner in Sarah Glinski after Debra Fisher helmed the first two seasons. Executive producers include Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly, Holly Hines and Daniel March for Dynamic Television as well as Armand Leo, Lance Samuels and Daniel Iron for Blue Ice Pictures. Co-Executive Producers are Elena Blekhter and Ali Kinney. April Mullen directed the first two episodes, with Jasmin Mozaffari directing 3 and 4, Liz Allen directing 5 and 6, Sharon Lewis directing 7 and 8 and Darnell Martin directing 9 and 10. Writers are David Monahan, Danielle Hoover, Michelle Askew, Ayotunde Ifaturoti, Ali Kinney, Eboni Freeman, Jordan Dumbroff, Zachary Arthur, Kourtney Richard.
