They're storied hotels located in some of the world's most historic cities – and now Corinthia Hotels is set open a Corinthia in Dubai.
The just-announced project will soar into the clouds on Sheikh Zayed Road, a distinct two-tower architectural marvel that will feature both a hotel and residences. Located next to Fairmont Dubai, Corinthia Dubai will be developed with Dubai General Properties – who created the visionary Museum of the Future – so you can expect this to redefine the Downtown skyline once complete.
Promising to bring Corinthia's Mediterranean soul to the city for the first time, the development will stretch more than 500 metres into the sky, making it one of the world's tallest buildings.
Among its crowning features, a cantilever sky lobby will float 200 metres above ground, and guests will be able to swim in the world's highest infinity pool. An outdoor sky pool soaring over 500 metres, this jaw-dropping spot promises to take luxurious imbibing to new heights with breathtaking 360-degree views.
Featuring a mix of Corinthia-branded serviced penthouses and residences as well as hotel rooms, we can expect elegant and sophisticated, stately interiors that Corinthia is renowned for at its flagship hotels in London, Malta, Brussels, Budapest and St Petersburg. Properties that ooze ornate grandeur they're typically home to elevated spas and celebrity chef-led restaurants. So, we can expect something similar when Corinthia Dubai opens. According to the brand, the Dubai iteration will house a next-generation spa, Corinthia Wellness, featuring indoor and outdoor pools as well as a string of health and wellbeing experts on hand to cater to guests' every whim.
The collection of five restaurants and bars promise sweeping sea and city vistas, and there will even be a private members' club that promises to be a relaxing sanctuary within the urban jungle. The exclusive address will blend refined sophistication with tailored amenities, perfect for both work and play. Luxe new staycation spots
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab
Before Corinthia Dubai, a series of luxurious properties are set to open soon. Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, completing the oceanic-inspired trilogy alongside Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, will welcome guests to enjoy next-level seaside luxury from March 14.
Then from this summer, a second Mandarin Oriental – this time on Sheikh Zayed Road – will make its much anticipated debut. And before the end of the year, the world's tallest hotel Ciel Tower, will take glamourous stays in the city to new heights in Dubai Marina, while wellness lovers can look forward to Six Senses bringing a boutique resort to The Palm Jumeirah.

The Raw Bar dazzles with selections like Tuna Tartare & Caviar on a crisp potato base and Hamachi Carpaccio kissed with lemon thyme ponzu. For those seeking indulgence, handcrafted sushi and maki—such as Chutoro Nigiri Aburi with soy caramel glaze or Lobster Maki crowned with smoked mayonnaise and caviar—deliver pure sophistication. View this post on Instagram A post shared by VERHAAL (@verhaalstudio) The main courses showcase KIRA's mastery over fire and flavor, with highlights like the Woodfire Roasted Lobster in Peri Peri Beurre Blanc and the signature Wagyu Tomahawk. Mediterranean comfort is reimagined through a Japanese lens in dishes like Chilean Seabass Risotto and Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, each bite a testament to culinary finesse.
