Hollyoaks confirms Sienna Blake goes to the police as killer Jez closes in
Jez, as audiences know, has claimed the lives of various villagers since his arrival in the show, namely Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti) and Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe).
He's also murdered therapist Tommy Odenkirk (Brandon Fellows), pinning the blame for that one on Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed), and social worker Ian Stone, framing Bobby for the latter.
Sienna had some knowledge of her devilish dad's wrongdoings when she discovered that he murdered her beloved cousin Dilly, who was planning on reporting Sienna to the police for her role in husband Ethan Williams' (Matthew James Bailey) demise.
The realisation that her supposedly kind father was responsible for the murder of Dilly left Sienna shaken to the core but in the heat of the moment she assisted Jez in getting rid of her body, burying her in the allotment.
Jez vowed that he would turn over a new leaf and Sienna believed him but when she found out that the patriarch was engaged to her sister Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart), the fear of what he's truly capable of started to creep back in.

And such fears were exacerbated further when Dodger revealed that Dilly's DNA was found in connection with the Ian Stone case – and that of Dennis Savage, who – as viewers know – was also killed by Jez.
With Dilly already dead at the time of Ian's demise, Sienna put two and two together and her worst fears were realised upon a trip to the allotment, where she discovered that not only was Jez still claiming lives but that he was doing so because he believes it's what he was 'born to do'. Who will take down Jez? Sienna - if anyone can outwit a villain it's her
Liberty - she will see through his lies
Dodger - the detective will solve the mystery
Martha - she will see what she must do in order to make amends
Someone else - tell us below in the comments!
Upon unearthing Robbie Roscoe's (Charlie Wernham) body, Sienna confronted Jez, who was relieved to no longer have to hide his obsession with taking lives.
Horrified and appalled, Sienna raced to tell her loved ones about Jez's true nature, but the killer caught up to her, resulting in the pair of them taking a tumble from the city walls.
Jez recovered in hospital and instructed mum Martha (Sherrie Hewson) to 'take care' of Sienna so to speak, knowing she will expose his horrid secrets.

Sienna, however, claimed to have no memory of the events leading to her fall, with Jez relieved to be out of the woods.
Or so he thinks.
Subsequent scenes confirmed that not only is Sienna still aware of Jez's murderous antics but she's also keeping a list – and she intends to do whatever it takes to take him down.
Next week, Sienna heads to a chatroom online for advice on what to do if your dad is a serial killer and, to further protect her loved ones and bide her time while she contemplates her next move, she tells Jez and Lib that it's unlikely she'll ever regain her memory.
Liberty, however, grows concerned that Sienna is keeping something from her. Will she get to the bottom of such a thing?
The jury is still out but there's soon concern when Sienna starts to behave in a peculiar manner, selling the stall and all of her stock, which leaves Liberty confused.
Afterwards, Sienna makes a beeline for the police station, hoping to speak to Dodger about what she knows, but to her horror, Jez appears before her very eyes, as seen in new images shared exclusively with Metro.
An emotional showdown ensues, with Sienna left in tears. The question is: will Sienna be able to cover her tracks in a swift fashion? Or is Jez aware that she recalls the truth about his murders? More Trending
In terms of location, she's in the ideal place to ensure Jez is held to account – but will he have a trick up his sleeve to keep her quiet?
And is Sienna officially a target once again for the killer? Alternatively, can she bring Jez to justice? Or is Jez truly as invincible as he likes to believe?

EastEnders star Nicholas Ball died 'broke' as he leaves nothing to wife
EastEnder actor Nicholas Ball died 'broke' as his wife Ayda has been left with nothing from his will following his death last year aged 79 following a short illness EastEnders star Nicholas Ball left nothing to his wife following his death last year. The actor died aged 79 following a short illness and was known for portraying gang lord Terry Bates in the popular BBC soap. His character is remembered for attacking Peggy Mitchell and causing havoc in the iconic Queen Victoria pub. Ball also appeared in Footballers' Wives, where he took on the role of Garry Ryan, the club chairman and a former rockstar. Despite his on screen success, record show Ball left no will and nothing in his estate. It comes after Darius Danesh's ex-wife speaks out after pop star died after refusing operation. Administration of Ball's estate was granted to his wife Ayda Kay, who he wed in 2019 after over two decades together. A High Court document reads: 'The application has stated that the gross value of the estate in the United Kingdom amounts to £0 and the net value amounts to £0.' In June last year, Ball's agent revealed in a statement that he had "passed away following a short illness" and noted that his acting career, which spanned theatre and the small screen, was impressively long-standing across six decades. Ayda also shared a statement as she said at the time: "It is with the heaviest and broken of hearts, that I share the loss of my beloved Nicky-Nicholas Ball." Ball had been married to actress and psychologist Pamela Stephenson from 1978 to 1984, but she left him for comedian Billy Connolly. Director Keith English paid tribute to him after his death, as he said: "Fabulous as star of hit TV show 'Hazell' in the 1980s, Nick was a terrific actor - kind and generous. "He starred in our short film 'Top Dog' in 2001 in which he was great and we became life-long friends with him and his wife, Ayda Kay. Indeed, we were honoured when the pair of them asked if they could be married in our garden in 2019. "A fabulous affair. One of our fondest memories was going to see Jerry Goldsmith play The Royal Albert Hall with him and his great friend Mel Smith. "Mel had hired a box for the show. Both men were known hell-raisers and, sure enough, when the four of us rolled up they were both fairly merry and proceeded to football-chant 'There's only one Jerry Goldsmith!' between musical pieces to an uneven response from the rest of the auditorium. "Nick was a loving husband, friend and a wonderful actor. We enjoyed every minute of his company. Farewell and bon voyage." His television credits extended to crime shows such as Jonathan Creek, Hustle, Heartbeat and Bergerac. He also featured in comedies like Red Dwarf and The Young Ones, and the drama The Crezz. Ball secured roles in various film projects, including Overlord, Rogue Male, crime drama The Krays: Dead Man Walking; and an adaptation of Jilly Cooper's The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous.

Cancel your weekend plans to binge Sheridan Smith's 'outstanding' Netflix drama
It looks like Netflix subscribers are discovering a Sheridan Smith crime drama that first aired on ITV in 2012. Mrs Biggs is climbing up the streamer's ranking of the platform's top 10 TV shows – making a convincing argument for a mid-August weekend watch. Smith – who has so many British dramas to her name it can be easy to let one slip – stars in this five-part drama, which is based on the true story of the Great Train Robbery. The drama focuses on the relationship between Charmian, played by Smith, and Ronnie Biggs, played by Daniel Mays. It follows everything from their first lovestruck meeting and the fateful 1963 train heist, to its aftermath and their eventual divorce in 1976, after Biggs fathered a child in Brazil. We see the petty crook meet his soon-to-be wife on, of all places, a train. 'The future is full of possibilities,' he tells her. 'The past will only drag you down.' With that, the Biggs couple set off on a crime spree before they eventually decide to settle down for a quiet married life. That is, until the 'one last job' pops up in the chance to join the train robbers. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Some labelled the drama a sanitised version of events, but it was inspired by a letter Biggs sent to his wife following the death of their son Nicholas. Biggs's former wife Charmian was also a consultant on the show. The show's writer and executive producer Jeff Pope said he wanted to set out a romantic tale, rather than a romanticised one. 'We show Ron as perhaps a little too wilfully optimistic and Charmian is the cold voice of reason throughout. It absolutely would be a danger of a piece like this to romanticise it,' he told The Guardian. 'It will get laughed out of court if it's a slushfest. In the first episode, they steal, he strikes her, we acknowledge the fact he had a criminal record; further down the line, Charmian has an abortion by another man. We don't pull back, we don't flinch.' Praised at the time of its release for the quality of the acting and the excitement of the episodes, TV viewers have shared their positive reception over the years, as Mrs Biggs has been available on ITVX as well as Netflix. Taking to X, @AshWoody90 praised: 'Mrs Biggs on Netflix, possibly one the best things I have ever watched.' More Trending @elliot_gonzalez commended the creative partnership between the show's writer and star, writing: 'Jeff Pope and Sheridan Smith should always work together. Mrs Biggs, The Widower, Cilla and now The Moorside. All outstanding work.' @TVChatty wrote: 'All week I've been watching Mrs Biggs on ITV3. Why did I not watch it first time? Fantastic story and great acting. Really enjoyed it.' @lizcurran echoed: 'Sheridan Smith is wonderful in Mrs Biggs – she is one of my favourite actors. Utterly mesmerising – always.' EastEnders confirms Sharon Watts' return in explosive new trailer - and she's not alone
EastEnders has sent fans wild with a new trailer confirming two legendary characters will be back on the Square very soon as they tease plenty of drama ahead... BBC has sent fans wild with a new EastEnders trailer, which confirms the return of two legendary characters. Viewers have been questioning when Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) would be making a return to the soap after she left before Martin Fowler's funeral. Leaving off screen, it was announced that she had gone off to visit Michelle in Australia, after struggling with the aftermath of Martin's death. Now, a rare trailer has confirmed Sharon will be back on screens soon, as well as Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). Zoe made her shock return to the soap earlier this year during Ben Wadey's debut episode, but quickly fled to Barcelona after a close run in with mother Kat. Alfie then went off to try to find her, but unfortunately failed. It looks like she'll be making her return to Albert Square soon, however, and fans can't wait. In the trailer, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) can be seen applying her signature red lipstick in the mirror, as her daughter Zoe can be seen getting out of a black cab. Halfway through, a small clip of Sharon standing under an umbrella with Patrick appears, as well as another with Freddie and Stacey standing laughing together. The drama picks up by the end of the snippet, as Kat and Zoe finally come face to face - leaving Kat looking stunned. The exact date of the pair's return hasn't been confirmed yet, but with a trailer being released, we can expect it to be very soon. Fans are overjoyed to see the duo back on the Square, as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to celebrate. "so much to unpack here, Zoe, SHARON, cinematic trailers being back," penned one excited fan. "Kat and Zoe!! and Sharon's back!!!" exclaimed another, while another nostalgic fan said: "Omg an Eastenders trailer are we in 2008!!!" "The return of Sharon's 2018 weave omg!!" said another, noticing her new hairstyle. "Flawless classic Eastenders trailer. The best show on television is back!!!" another tweet read. As well as Sharon and Zoe's return, the BBC soap have confirmed the return of a handful of other legendary characters. Max Branning, Ben Mitchell, Stuart Highway and Anthony Trueman will all be making their way back to the Square anytime soon... EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
