The taste is great and the bags make it incredibly easy to mix up what would otherwise be complex cocktails quickly and easily. I've had the spicy marg, espresso martini, and old fashioned versions, and while they aren't exactly the same as the original they are wonderful for making yourself a cocktail at home. Highly recommend." — Meredith

4. L'Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara in a new brown shade so you can have all the *vavoom* of thick, full lashes with that romantic ~softness~ of the more muted shade. Promising review: "This is a fantastic product. I was really glad to see it on Amazon because I saw it on TikTok. I didn't have to wait for it and pay less. Can't go wrong with that. It is very moisturizing and easy to apply. Just a very thin layer. I went to bed, peeled it off the next morning, and my skin was super glowy. I love it." — Ramona L. Corona
Get it from Amazon for $18.90.
9. A pair of luxe retro-style oval sunglasses giving Miu Miu vibes without the $489 price tag. The devil's in the chic details on this one, including the little gold embellishments on the sides and the nostalgic shape of the lenses, which are softer than the typical skinny oval lens.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

(Also, it's just so darn precious??)
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Reviewers especially love this lamp for small spaces, since it doesn't take up valuable surface area!
Promising review: "I love the way the light looks and the many colors, but honestly I love the flexibility of the neck. I can manipulate it to fit the function of what I am doing. I have used it as reading light and mood light by the bed. I had no problem reading my book at night. I have used it as a task light to do arts and crafts. More recently, I have used it at work and it now has a permanent spot at my desk. The light was a great value for the money for me." — Terese
Get it from Amazon for $35.99 (available in two colors).
11. A weighted eye mask that's basically like a weighted blanket for your human eyes, designed to decrease stress and encourage ~deep sleep~. They also feature a 3D contour, so they're hollowed out in the middle and won't rest right on top of your eyes.
Promising review: "Love these. These are soft and very comfortable, and they seriously black out every bit of ligh t. I love them. I would highly recommend. I'll probably never sleep without them again." — AJ
I bought these at the last second for a flight when I lost my way more expensive sleep mask, and can safely say "good riddance" to that old pair — I love this version way more. It's perfectly contoured so it doesn't rub my eyes or mess up my makeup if I'm traveling, the weight is satisfying without being distracting, and it adjusts super quickly and easily without every getting caught in my hair. Also the pink is just absolutely precious, so my little Glinda x Barbie heart is most pleased to show if off.
Get a pack of two from Amazon for $16.99 (available in seven sets).
12. Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Lip Tint gives you an oh-so-pillowy matte pout that refuses! to! quit! no matter what you throw at it during the day. Reviewers mention that this is a great "everyday" matte, giving a velvety, well-pigmented look without being too dramatic.
www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I have been on a hunt for The Lipstick for my 20 plus years of wearing makeup. Regular lipstick comes off in minutes because I'm chugging water all day. Matte long stay just settles into every lip crack and looks terrible. This is the first and only long-stay lipstick that doesn't settle into cracks and dry down. I think because it's a slightly thicker consistency — not quite glossy, more like a thick balm so it glides over lip cracks. I have just about every color — I'm really hoping they come out with a rusty red." — Kate Lynch
Get it from Amazon for $9.97 (available in ten shades).
13. A guided visual "breathing partner" you can use for meditation and calm to shift your mindset. This is designed to guide you through either the popular 4/7/8 or 5/5 "calming breaths" to help reduce stress and anxiety, using colors that fade in and out softly as cues. Bonus: it's kid-friendly!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Mindset is a small business that specializes in calming personal care and decor products.
Promising review:"I started meditating over a decade ago. Intermittent in the beginning, progressing deeper, and finding new joys over time. With Breathing Buddha, the last thoughts have dropped away as counting breath always seemed to keep me conscious of, well, counting. Granted, I have always dropped the counting after a handful of breaths, but Breathing Buddha has made for a delightful transition as I realize it doesn't have to count at all. It is a lovely concept, well executed, and very easy to start using." — Lynn
Get it from Amazon for $21.95 (available in two styles).
14. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Seasoning, because if there's anyone I trust to judge the quality of a pizza seasoning, it's this pack of slice-guzzling vigilantes.
Amazon
Promising review:"I bought this as a stocking stuffer! This is a unique gift for the Ninja Turtle lover. We use this seasoning on pizza, pasta, and basically any Italian dish we are cooking! Our whole family loves the taste. It has garlic, salt, and various Italian seasoning blends. A little goes a long way, and we plan to repurchase when this one runs out." — Adele

Get it from Amazon for $14.
21. A goth popcorn maker and bowl for anyone who wants an extra side of spook with their saltiness. This silicone skull is so easy to use that you can pour in the kernels, pop it in the microwave for two to three minutes, and get eight cups of freshly popped popcorn without even having to use oil!

Touchland sent me samples of all of the scents in the Power Essence line, and I've truly never been more impressed by body mists. www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

These also have a good amount of stretch to them, so you'll have the cutest *and* the comfiest booty in the room.
Promising review: "This is one of my favorite pair of jeans. I have been looking for something in this fit for some time now. I am usually a 32, and quite curvy, which causes waist gaps in most jeans. So I ordered the 32 and 33. They both fit quite well. I went with the 33 because it's longer and more roomy around my hips, and gives me the baggy fit I wanted. The cinch waist allowed me to tighten the waist. I'm very, VERY picky about the protein bars I'll eat — Barebells and Nick's are my go-tos — and these Built bars knocked it out of the park! They have a truly marshmallow-like consistency and the most ridiculously satisfying texture and chewiness. The flavors I've tried have all been spot-on, and they don't leave any kind of aftertaste. I am perpetually out and about and in need of a snack, so I have one of these in my purse at all times!

Butterfly Season 2: Renewal status, release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on August 17, 2025, 18:30 IST Last updated August 17, 2025, 13:32 IST Butterfly hit Prime Video like a lightning bolt in August 2025, hooking viewers with its wild mix of spy games and family heartbreak. Premiered on August 13, 2025, the six-episode run left fans reeling with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, sparking endless chatter about what's next. With no official word yet on a second season, anticipation is sky-high. Here's a deep dive into everything known so far about Butterfly Season 2, from release date estimates to cast updates and potential plot twists. Will There Be a Butterfly Season 2? As of August 2025, Amazon Prime Video's keeping quiet about a renewal. But the signs look good. Butterfly shot up to No. 2 on Prime's Top 10 list right after its August 13 premiere, and fans gave it an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, loving the high-stakes action and emotional punches. Critics were solid too, landing at 68-71%. Streaming platforms like Amazon usually dig into viewership numbers, fan reactions, and social media hype before deciding. With that cliffhanger ending and all the chatter online, a second season feels like a safe bet—just don't hold your breath for an announcement tomorrow. Daniel Dae Kim, who plays David Jung and helps produce the show, dropped some hints in a recent chat. He's pumped about the story's potential to go global, saying it could land anywhere. Piper Perabo, the scheming Juno, also chimed in, eager to dig deeper into her character's history with David. The cast's excitement and those loose ends from Season 1 have fans hopeful, but it might be a few months before Amazon spills the beans. When Could Butterfly Season 2 Drop? Without an official renewal, pinning down a release date for Butterfly Season 2 is tricky. However, industry patterns offer some clues. Prime Video's action dramas, like Butterfly , often take over a year to produce due to complex shoots and post-production demands. Season 1, filmed across South Korea, dropped on August 13, 2025. If renewed soon, production could start in 2026, aiming for a release in mid-to-late 2027. That's a long wait, sure, but crafting a show this layered isn't quick. Fans hoping for something sooner might be dreaming, but crazier things have happened. Who's Coming Back for Butterfly Season 2? If Season 2 happens, most of the main players should return, given how the story left them. Here's the likely crew: Daniel Dae Kim as David Jung : The retired spy turned dad is the show's core. Kim's double role as star and producer makes him a lock. Reina Hardesty as Rebecca : David's daughter, tangled in spy life and family drama, vanished in the finale. Hardesty's teased Rebecca carving her own path, so expect her back. Piper Perabo as Juno : The mastermind behind Caddis slipped away after Season 1's chaos. Perabo's ready to explore Juno's past with David, hinting at juicy tension. Louis Landau as Oliver : Juno's son, now in witness protection, could flip sides again, keeping things spicy. Charles Parnell as Senator George Dawson : His political schemes tie into the bigger plot, so he's probably sticking around. Kim Tae-hee as Eunju : David's wife took a brutal hit in the finale, stabbed and left bleeding. Her fate's unclear, but Kim Tae-hee's comments about wanting more action suggest she might pull through. Nayoon Kim as Minhee: David's younger kid could step up, especially with family ties fraying. Side characters like Park Hae-soo (Yong Shik Choi) or Sean Dulake (Hollis) might pop up, but Kim Ji-hoon's Gun is toast after Season 1. New faces could join, especially if the story hops to new countries. What's the Plot for Butterfly Season 2? Heads-up: Season 1 spoilers ahead! Season 1, based on Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett's graphic novel, follows David Jung, a former spy dragged back into the game to save his daughter Rebecca from Caddis, the shady agency he helped start with his ex, Juno. The finale flips everything: David takes down Caddis and reunites with his family, only to find Eunju stabbed in a restaurant bathroom and Rebecca gone. Did Rebecca turn on him? Is someone else pulling strings? It's a mess, and Season 2 would dive right in. Expect David to hunt for answers about Eunju's attack and Rebecca's whereabouts. Kim's said David doesn't fully trust his daughter, so their rocky bond could spark some intense moments. Juno, now a fugitive, plans to rebuild her empire somewhere lawless, making her a major threat. Her cryptic call with Oliver hints at betrayal or a new player, 'Baron,' who's yet to show their face. David's deal with his criminal father-in-law, Doo Tae, might pull him into darker territory, while Rebecca could wrestle with her loyalties, torn between her dad and Juno. The show's global vibe—Season 1's South Korean backdrop was a hit—might take it to new places, as Kim suggested. Political plots with Senator Dawson, Caddis' fallout, and family drama will keep the stakes high. Whether it sticks to the graphic novel or goes rogue, Season 2's shaping up to be a rollercoaster. 28 Modern Beauty Trends Older Women Hate

Recently, we asked the older women of the BuzzFeed Community what modern beauty, hair, and skincare trends bother them, and they had a lot to say. Here are current trends that they absolutely can't stand*. "Why do people wear pimple patches out in that draws more attention to the fact you have spots?!!" "Brazilian butt lifts." "Threads. There are better ways to stimulate collagen that don't involve putting strings in your face. Barbed threads do not work at lifting either, and it is not possible to defy the laws of physics. Source: every surgeon I've ever talked to and myself. I did them in my disaster." "Wild fingernails, especially really long ones. I'm all for taking care of nails and have nothing against a good seriously, how do you function with full-on talons? I'm just waiting for the day I see two-inch-long nails tipped with googly eyes trying to text, and it sounds like maracas." "Fake freckles." "Less invasive and permanent than the others, but I think we're all going to make fun of the 'cold girl' makeup (using blush on the nose)." "The brushed-up, thick eyebrows. Why do you want to look like a startled werewolf?" "Lip blushing. It reminds me of the white permanent eyeliner trend." "Buccal fat removal. It can look cute now, but at almost 40 now, I'm glad I had chubby cheeks for my entire youth." "Overwhelming hair extensions." "The pressure to remove all female body hair, except for that around your eyes and on top of your head, has GOT to stop! You do you, but I think that hair is there for a reason. Ridiculous how women are pressured to remove almost all of it!" Relatedly... "This isn't something I ever speak about, but I can't stand how much time, effort, and money young women put into grooming down below. Can natural be a thing again, please?" "Veneers. Our skeletons are not perfect, so why do we obsess over having 'perfect' teeth? Just go to the dentist once a year and brush your teeth twice a day. I promise your teeth will be okay." "Twenty-step skincare routines." "Ozempic." "Fake tans. Why do women want to look like orange blow-up dolls? Please! Tone it down a bit and be more subtle and natural." "I cannot believe we don't post real photos of ourselves anymore. Now, everyone's photos are completely edited by TikTok to change their face or are AI-enhanced. When did we start to feel uncomfortable with our own face?" "The overuse of highlight and contour makeup. This is already gone/going out of style, but I think people are going to look at it like I used to look at old photos of women with blue eyeshadow." "Why do women glue big, fuzzy, caterpillar-like eyelashes on their eyelids? It doesn't look natural, let alone good. I think they'll look back at pictures of themselves and think, 'Why did I ever think that was a good idea?'" "I see a lot of teeny tiny upturned noses in pictures online, so IDK how much of that is just filtering, but I think that looks very odd and will look even stranger when they're older if it's real." "The trend I find most disturbing is the obsession younger people seem to have with looking like everyone else, to an unhealthy degree. They all have the same fake-looking eyebrows, fake eyelashes, inflated lips, Botox-ed foreheads…it's sad. Perfection is often NOT what makes someone beautiful. What makes someone naturally beautiful can often be a feature that's unusual and different from everyone else. I think all the people trying to look a certain way are actually destroying their own unique looks." "I always think the 'circle' lip trend of filling in your cupid's bow with lip liner is going to be looked back on weirdly. I can't stand this trend." "I've never been one to do something just because it's trendy, so I say do what you want. I may silently judge you because I think it looks dumb, but you're not hurting me, so go for it. But this obsession with skincare when you haven't even hit puberty yet needs to stop. You have a baby face; you don't need 25 different products on your face." And... "Women in their teens and 20s using anti-aging serums. I'm in my 50s and look 10 years younger. My secret? I used sunscreen in my 20s, that's all!" "Microblading." "Middle parts. Unless your face is perfectly symmetrical (yours is not, I guarantee you), it will accentuate every single imbalance." "I'll never understand bleached eyebrows, but go ahead, I guess." And finally... "Is 'everything' a valid answer? I've worked in the beauty industry for five years, and I hate it. The basics of beauty are a face wash, a treatment if you have an issue that you want fixed, a moisturizer, and SPF. These 10+ step skincare routines are so wasteful and unnecessary. I also cannot stand the people who glorify plastic surgery, fillers/injections, hair and lash extensions, fake tans, long gel/acrylic nails, etc. It's now radical and extremely rare to be authentic. If you're changing everything about yourself, there's obviously a deep issue that needs to be worked on that a needle, some acrylic nails, and extensions won't fix. I work with women who spend their money on products, injections, extensions, and nails, and can't afford insurance, gas, or groceries. It's so absurd to me. I don't like a lot about how I look, but at least it's 100% me." What modern beauty trends can you not stand? Let us know in the comments or via this anonymous form. 7 best twist endings of all time

What makes a successful twist ending? First of all, it has to surprise the audience. If you somehow guess the twist before it happens, then the movie failed to do its job. Furthermore, the twist has to make sense. Movies like 'Serenity' and 'Remember Me' featured shocking endings that did not belong. These twists ruined, not helped, the story. This month, 'The Usual Suspects' celebrates its 30th anniversary. The final twist in the Oscar-winning thriller is still one of the best in cinematic history. Where does it rank among all-time twist endings? Let's find out. 'It was clear whoever got that role was going to blow up,' Matt Damon said about auditioning for the 1996 legal thriller, 'Primal Fear.' The role in question was for Aaron Stampler, a stuttering boy accused of murdering the archbishop of Chicago. Edward Norton won the coveted part and, like Damon predicted, blew up, culminating in an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. There's no proof as to what moment secured Norton the critical acclaim; the best guess is that it happened during the film's final moments. After a not guilty verdict, Aaron reveals he faked an alternate personality to get away with murder. Richard Gere's stunned look speaks for everyone in that moment. Watch on Paramount Plus If you listen closely, you might still hear Charlton Heston's scream at the end of 'Planet of the Apes.' In the distant future, astronaut George Taylor (Heston) and his crew crash-land on an unknown planet where apes are the dominant species. On this planet, apes can talk and think like people, while humans are mute and primitive. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. The makeup and philosophical themes have stood the test of time and even spawned an entire franchise that still exists today. However, the ending remains the film's lasting legacy. Taylor learning that the planet he landed on is Earth in the future remains a stroke of genius and a shocking conclusion to a revolutionary film. Rent/buy on Amazon or Apple Imagine being a child in 1980 and seeing 'The Empire Strikes Back.' After George Lucas opened your world to the wonder of a space opera in 'Star Wars,' you then learned that Darth Vader, one of the three most famous villains in cinematic history, was the father of Luke Skywalker. In today's Hollywood, twists are spoiled within minutes of the embargo lifting. But 45 years ago, you had to sit on that cliffhanger for three years before the trilogy wrapped in 1983's 'Return of the Jedi.' If this list consisted of misquoted lines in movie history, 'The Empire Strikes Back' might occupy the top spot. As much fun as it is to say, 'Luke, I am your father,' the correct reciting of Darth Vader's line reads, 'No, I am your father.' Watch on Disney Plus From a critical standpoint, 'Psycho' is on the shortlist of most influential horror movies ever produced. Alfred Hitchcock's mystery centers around Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), a real estate secretary who, after stealing money from her employer, flees Phoenix for California. Due to heavy rain, Marion stops for the night at the Bates Motel, where she meets a peculiar proprietor, Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins). Hitchcock solidified his 'Master of Suspense' title thanks to his revolutionary camerawork and haunting score. The tale also included two twists. The first occurs during a stabbing in the shower. The final twist happens near the end, when Norman, not his mother, is revealed to be the killer. Norman's sadistic smile will be ingrained in your memory. Rent/buy on Amazon or Apple The first rule of Fight Club: Do not talk about Fight Club. Apologies to Edward Norton and Brad Pitt, but we have to break the first rule for good reason. David Fincher's crime drama follows the journeys of the unnamed Narrator (Norton) and soap salesman Tyler Durden (Pitt) as they form an underground fight club. The club attracts depressed men looking for excitement in their lives. Eventually, the club transitions into Project Mayhem, an anarchist movement to disrupt the social order through acts of violence and vandalism. The Narrator disapproves of Tyler's methods until he realizes — and here's the twist — that Tyler is his alter ego. The second rule of Fight Club should be: Don't talk about the twist unless your job requires you to make a list about twist endings. Watch on Hulu The movie that inspired the list has to be near the top. For nearly the entire 106-minute runtime of 'The Usual Suspects,' Agent Dave Kujan (and the audience) attempted to identify the criminal mastermind known as Keyser Söze. Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey) led us to believe Keyser Söze was Dean Keaton (Gabriel Byrne). Then, Kujan drops the coffee cup as the details from the random flyers jump off the wall. Keyser Söze was none other than Verbal Kint, and the moment his limp disappears remains one of cinema's most iconic images of the last 30 years. Watch on Prime Video The biggest strength of 'The Sixth Sense' is its twist ending. It also happens to be the film's greatest weakness. 'The Sixth Sense' relies on its twist more than any other movie on this list. It's hard to enjoy M. Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller and pretend like the reveal isn't coming. The twist is all you can think about, which hurts the movie's rewatchability. Nevertheless, learning that Malcolm (Bruce Willis) had been dead the entire time was jaw-dropping. It changed the trajectory of Shyamalan's career and became the new standard for twist endings.
