Prince Harry's incredible £8k Disney-themed gift to Prince Louis
Prince Harry has always been a doting uncle to his older brother Prince William's three children - and it seems he's always had a knack for picking out the perfect presents

Before his separation from the Royal family, Prince Harry took great joy in his role as an uncle to Prince William and Princess Kate's three children. The Royal pair first welcomed Prince George in July 2013, followed by Princess Charlotte in May 2015, and their youngest, Prince Louis, arrived in April 2018.
In his memoir 'Spare', Harry reflects on becoming an uncle, writing: "I was an uncle. Willy and Kate had welcomed their first child, George, and he was beautiful.

"I couldn't wait to teach him about rugby and Rorke's Drift, flying and corridor cricket - and maybe give him a few pointers about how to survive life in the fishbowl."

Harry expressed his delight at the arrival of Princess Charlotte, saying he was "thrilled to bits" and that he "couldn't be happier for Willy and Kate".

The Sun reported that Prince Harry marked Prince Louis's christening with a thoughtful gift, a first edition of A.A Milne's classic Winnie-The-Pooh, which reportedly cost him £8,000.
The Mirror reports, an insider told the newspaper, Sun: "One of Harry's happiest childhood memories was being read a bedtime story by his mother.
"She loved all the old classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a little library of first editions for Louis, Charlotte, and George to enjoy as they get older."

Before Prince Louis was born, Prince Harry shared with the Mirror his hopes for Prince George and Princess Charlotte to experience a part of his own upbringing.
He expressed strong support for their potential future involvement in the Armed Forces: "I would definitely encourage George, and Charlotte if she wants to, to have some sort of involvement in the Armed Forces, guaranteed. It's done no harm, just good, for me, and I know it's the same for William," he remarked.
He also offered advice as an uncle, emphasising the importance of enjoying their Royal roles despite the initial pressure: "As an uncle, you know, I would say enjoy the [royal] role, because at first it's just pressure, pressure, pressure.

"If you're going to be doing it and you're having an effect on so many people then, if you smile, they're smiling – and what's the point of doing such a unique job without enjoying it?"
Now a father himself, Harry, along with Meghan Markle, welcomed Archie in May 2019 and Lilibet in June 2021.
The family resides in Montecito, California, and has seen their relationship with the Royal family diminish significantly.

The Sussexes, having made several allegations against the Royal establishment, are now virtually estranged from Harry's family.
A significant rift has formed, with reports suggesting that the Sussexes have been 'cut off' by key members of the Royal family, including Prince William.
Archie and Lilibet have not been to the UK since 2022, and Lilibet, the younger of the two, has only met King Charles once.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond has highlighted a challenging aspect of Prince Harry and Meghan's family dynamics, saying: "At the moment, the children don't know any difference, but as they grow up Harry and Meghan will have some delicate manoeuvring to negotiate to explain the situation. It must be something that troubles Harry as a dad."
Jennie further elaborated on the potential future scenarios for their children, stating: "Imagine Archie, aged 15, telling his friends, 'My grandpa is/was King! And my uncle is/will be King too.' But he hardly knew or met them. How sad... and Meghan would have to bear the brunt of the responsibility for that."

Yet it reopened in 2015 after a huge £25million renovations which has seen a number of new rides and attractions. And one of the newest rides opening this year is the Log Flume. The theme park once had the water ride more than 25 years ago, only to close the ride and sell it off. However, it is set to reopen at the theme park. The park's operation manager Jack King said: "Anyone that works in the attractions industry or is an avid fan of all things Theme Park will appreciate the dying breed that is a UK based classic Log Flume. "It is with absolute pride to see the installation of our new classic Reverchon Log Flume. "It is so exciting to actually say Dreamland Margate will be opening its first Log Flume in about 25 years." An official opening date for the ride is yet to be confirmed. In the mean time, you can also ride the Scenic Railway, one of the oldest wooden rollercoasters in the UK. The tiny UK theme park reopening next month which has seaside views and the oldest rollercoaster in the country The Big Wheel, Pirate Ship, Dodgems and Rock 'N' Roller roller coaster are some other rides at the park. Inside there is a huge roller rick and arcade as well. And the theme park also runs a number of live music events, with big name acts this year include Haim, Tom Jones, McFly, Dizzee Rascal and Billy Ocean. The theme park is free to visit, although they introduced new rider wristbands this year. The £24.99 all-day wristbands give guests unlimited access to the rides. Some even said Dreamland once rivalled Disneyland. Chris Britcher, who grew up in Kent, told local media: "The early eighties was a time when the ultimate holiday seemed to be a mortgage-busting ticket to Florida and the Disney parks. "But to me, as enticing as some of the rides across the pond seemed, Disney's saccharine brand was enough to make Dreamland, the theme park formerly known, temporarily, as Bembom Brothers, appear to have their beating at every level. "This was British charm, soaked in temperamental British sunshine and with good old British grit and grime thrown in. Here is another major attraction opening at a UK theme park. And a brand new theme park is opening in Europe - here is everything we know so far.

Disney+ £1.99 deal is back but with one major upgrade

Disney Plus has relaunched one of our favourite deals of 2024, but this time there's a major change that's good news for telly fans This week saw the return of one of our favourite streaming deals as Disney+ relaunched an unbeatable discount that cuts a subscription to less than £2. It may not be the first time we've seen this deal, but that doesn't make it any less enticing. We covered the same deal in the very first edition of our Top Tech series way back in September, but now it's back and with one major upgrade. New and returning customers can now subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for £1.99. In previous campaigns, those signing up for the deal could lock in the discounted rate for three months, but this time it's been extended to four months of cheaper access. A four-month subscription to the Standard with Ads tier would usually cost a total of £19.96 over four months, but the latest deal reduces this to £7.96 – a £12 saving. This marks a 60% drop from the usual £4.99 monthly price. However, this is a 'limited time promotion' and is set to expire on June 30. At the end of the four-month promotional period, Disney+ Standard with Ads will automatically renew at the then-current monthly retail price until cancelled, which now sits at £4.99. With the deal, Disney+ is now the cheapest platform among the major streamers, beating the cheapest subscription tiers of Netflix (£5.99), Amazon's Prime Video (£5.99) and Apple TV+ (£8.99). Get Disney+ for £1.99 for four months £4.99 £1.99 Disney+ Get Disney+ here Product Description It offers streaming in 1080p Full HD video, up to 5.1 audio and the ability to stream on two devices simultaneously. These are the same features included with Netflix's Standard with Ads tier but for a fraction of the price. Like many of us, the thought of adverts interrupting our favourite titles can be off-putting, but Disney+ actually plays fewer ads than terrestrial TV. It shows on average less than four minutes per hour of TV, while ads will only play before a film starts and not during. There is a way to save even more money on a Disney+ subscription for those who are happy to make a longer-term commitment. Disney+ offers the equivalent of two months free with its annual Standard and Premium plans, which provide 12 months access for the price of 10. This saves up to £25.98, while Premium also includes higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR and four concurrent streams. The latest deal comes ahead of a stellar summer slate which includes Marvel's Ironheart (June 25), season four of The Bear (June 26) and new prequel series Alien: Earth (August 13). They're set to join an ever-growing library featuring recent hits and critically acclaimed series, Andor, Welcome to Wrexham, Rivals, Only Murders in the Building and Shōgun, as well as Disney blockbuster Snow White. Disney+ members have been raving about the streamer's library on Trustpilot, with one five-star review hailing its 'fantastic and constantly updated collection'. Another says: 'I love Disney+. I'm a Star Wars and Marvel fan but since the addition of Starz it boosted my love, there's even more content for adults now that's worth it all round.' However, the same member added: 'Only reason it didn't get five stars is Disney are not using their other brands in the subscription. If they did this could easily be the best subscription service ever but there is much more content locked behind their own service.' This happy streamer said: 'Good servers, good services, this nostalgia when watching old cartoons from TV. The subscription is really cheap compared to other streaming services.' While this five-star review said: 'Very good selection, friendly support and easy to cancel if you need to. Very easy to navigate their site and the openess and transparency they show should be a model for others.'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'biggest hint' at royal return leaves critics 'bewildered'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly submitted passport applications for their two children, in which they have kept their HRH titles as well as the surname Sussex Royal insiders have been left "utterly bewildered" by what's being dubbed the "biggest hint yet" that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might consider a return to royal duties. It comes after they stepped down from 'the Firm' back in 2020, and relocated across the pond. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have caused quite a stir within the royal household with their actions since stepping back from public roles five years ago. This includes allegations of racism within the family and Meghan's viral video earlier this month, where she appeared to be "twerking" in a maternity ward before daughter Lilibet's birth. ‌ Recent revelations about passport applications for their children, six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet, have sparked speculation, according to reports in the Mirror. ‌ The documents reportedly include their HRH titles and the surname Sussex, suggesting Harry and Meghan want their kids to choose their own paths regarding royal duties when they are older. rejoining royal life. However, with Harry said to be estranged from both his father King Charles and brother Prince William, there would be a long way to go in mending fences. Daily Mail's royal correspondent Richard Eden notes: "The suggestion gives the biggest hint yet that they're hoping to mend fences." He added: "Could the Sussexes, who left behind the drudgery of Royal duties for a new life in America, be plotting a comeback through their children?" The Guardian initially reported the revelation last week, as they stated: "The Guardian understands that Prince Harry wants to keep the HRH titles for his children so that when they grow older they can decide for themselves whether they want to become working royals, or stay out of public life." ‌ Insiders have expressed surprise and doubt in response to Harry and Meghan's actions and revelations since their move to the US, where they have attempted to kick-start their careers in other fields. Mr Eden quotes a royal source, saying: "I find this very hard to understand, one royal source told me this week... 'Harry and Meghan apparently found official duties and life within the Royal Family unbearable, yet they want this for their children. It doesn't make sense'. "It's true that the Sussexes have spent considerable time and effort publicising their dissatisfaction with royal life. It's difficult to forget Harry's smile on a video as he described their 'freedom flight' to Los Angeles when they embarked on their American journey in 2020." Meghan recently discussed the possibility of running a business with daughter Lilibet in the future. However, a source recently informed People that the Suits actress is focused on the future and is "very business about it", while Harry reportedly has "one foot in the past".
