Inside Christina Aguilera's grueling diet and fitness regime after fans shocked by new svelte physique
Christina Aguilera recently shocked fans with her 'unrecognizable' appearance during a photoshoot for the cover of Carcy magazine.
In the snaps, the singer, 44, sat cross-legged in a chair while wearing a flimsy gold mini-dress showcasing her tousled blonde locks and a smoky eye.
While the shoot drew a lot of praise, many initially failed to recognize that Christina was the subject.
'Why does she have a different face every time we see her?' asked one.
'HOW IS SHE BENJAMIN BUTTONING? I've always been such a huge Christina fan and it's been so nice to see her look so happy, healthy and THRIVING lately and this shoot is SO GORGEOUS,' gushed another.
Christina, who sparked rumors of Ozempic use after initially debuting her 50lb weight loss, has been open about her weight fluctuations over the years.
She previously said she 'hated being super skinny' and had started embracing and 'loving my new curves,' according to Health.
But with her new svelte physique now on full display, DailyMail.com has rounded up everything the Burlesque actress has shared about her diet and fitness routine.
Ozempic rumors
After initially debuting a skinny frame in 2023, the singer was suspected of taking popular weight loss drug Ozempic.
Christina has never publicly addressed the rumors but she did recently remark that she no longer feels the need to 'give a f**k' about the public scrutiny of her body.
On December 31, 2024, she posted on Instagram, featuring a caption about 'something a little different' she was going to do in 2025.
'This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation,' it read.
'I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/or what you don't do.
'Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there.
'I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better.
'Allowing yourself grace, patience, and respect...'
Christina follows a VERY strict diet
In 2023, Hello! reported that Christina more than 40lbs over the years by restricting her daily food intake to 1,600 calories.
To achieve this, she followed the Rainbow Diet which involves eating a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables daily.
The idea is that the different colors in fruits and vegetables correspond to different nutrients and phytonutrients, which have various health benefits.
For example, on the days she would eat orange foods, Christina opted for carrots, sweet potatoes and pumpkins.
And green food days would see the singer eat broccoli, cabbage, kale, spinach, and Brussel sprouts.
In 2020, Christina appeared to have relaxed her approach a little, saying: 'I'm not going on a diet, get over it,' per L'Officiel.
'Each of us is an individual and people judge you based on your differences, on what makes you unique. You have to accept that beauty and to hell with everything else.'
She said that she now likes to prioritize eating whole foods instead.
The actress enjoys chicken salad with lots of vegetables, fish with rice and vegetables, and snacks such as celery and nut butter, according to Hello!
Christina previously said: 'Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty,' she told Health.
The singer maintains an intense workout regime
Christina's trainer, Tee Sorge, previously detailed her post-baby workout - including lifting heavy weights and interval training - to Glamour.
'Christina does biceps curls with 15-pound dumbbells and chest presses with 20-pounders. She knows they're not going to bulk her up. What they will do is help build lean muscle that kicks up your metabolism and make your body burn more calories each day - so you'll lose weight faster,' she explained about the star's exercise routine.
Tee added: 'I throw in a minute or two of jumping rope, stair climbing, or boxing after every few toning moves Christina does to keep her heart rate up and really maximize the number of calories she burns.
'Your core is your body's center, its foundation. If you're strong there, you're going to be strong and healthy, period.'
The trainer had the singer do 300 to 400 reps of ab exercises per session.
Tee also said alternating fast bursts and moderate exercises is a great way to up the intensity of your cardio.
'Christina slowly jogs for five minutes on flat ground, sprints for three to five minutes, and then does a slow uphill walk for the remainder of the workout. It's amazingly effective at making your body really lean,' she revealed.
The celebrity trainer urged that workouts don't need to be long, but they need to be consistent.
'Christina worked out with me until she was eight months pregnant and then started back up a few months after [her son] Max was born,' Tee said.
'That's what helped her look so good during her pregnancy - and snap back so quickly.'

The slimmed down star looked totally different wrapped up in a leather look jacket and jeans as she left the hotel with Wes. While her younger sister Kelly, 40, and her brother Jack, 39, skyrocketed into fame, singer Aimee prefers to live a life away from the spotlight. The Osbournes reality TV show was a huge hit and it gave fans a peek into their lives but Aimee never appeared on the show. Aimee was largely raised in California until the age of 16, however she eventually moved out of the family home as filming for The Osbournes kicked off. She said that she would have liked to stay at home "a little longer" but as the MTV crew moved in the then teenager moved out. Reflecting on her decision to not appear on the show she added: "Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? "I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable." Sharon said on the Talk in 2018: 'She felt too that she didn't want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea — it was appalling to her. 'And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did. It broke my heart when she moved." Ozzy Osbourne fights back tears as he thanks wife Sharon for 'saving his life' in appearance at Rock N Roll Hall of Fame In 2003, Aimee featured in the MTV musical adaption of Wuthering Heights. Presently she is the lead singer for pop band ARO, whose first single Raining Gold was released in 2015. Sharon recently sparked concern over her gaunt appearance after being spotted out and about in LA with Aimee. It's after former X Factor judge Sharon, 72, revealed weight loss jab Ozempic is stopping her from gaining weight. The TV personality, who lost 42 pounds with the help of Type 2 diabetes drug, previously revealed she "didn't actually want to go this thin". But the TV star's face looked slimmer than ever, with her jawline incredibly pronounced. Chatting with Howie Mandel, she said in April 2024: "It's not a sin to use Ozempic if you have a weight problem, so why not talk about it?" Howie then asked if the weight loss drug was a positive experience for her. "Yes and no," Sharon replied. She added: "I can't put on weight now, and I don't know what it's done to my metabolism, but I just can't seem to put any on, because I think I went too far." Recently, Ozzy gave fans an update on his farewell Black Sabbath gig this summer. The legendary rocker, 76, is getting ready to bow out of touring forever. As he has had a number health issues over the years which have prevented him going back out on tour. Meanwhile, Danni Minogue has opened up on the time she felt attacked by Graham Norton and Sharon Osbourne. The pop star, 53, described feeling the victim of a "pile on" when she Sharon appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show in 2007. 8 Aimee prefers to live a life away from the spotlight Credit: Splash 8 She was rarely seen on the Osbournes reality show Credit: Splash 8 Aimee hated the idea of growing up on camera Credit: Mega 8 Sharon sparked concern at her gaunt look when she was out with her daughter recently Credit: Rex

EXCLUSIVE 'It changed the trajectory of my life': Singer Delta Goodrem, 40, discusses shock teenage cancer diagnosis and losing her voice at 30 on new Mail podcast
Podcast All episodes From a shock teenage cancer diagnosis to having to relearn how to speak at 30, Australian singer Delta Goodrem discussed the health battles that transformed her career on the latest episode of the Mail's Life of Bryony podcast. Delta, 40, is one of Australia's most decorated female singer-songwriters. The former partner of Westlife singer Brian McFadden signed her first recording contract at only 15 years old and her 2003 debut album 'Innocent Eyes' topped charts for 29 weeks. Before embarking on her first world tour at 18, Delta was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, an aggressive type of blood cancer. During her time battling the disease, the singer founded the Delta Goodrem Foundation, which has raised over $120 million for blood cancer research. Speaking to Mail columnist Bryony Gordon, Delta recounted the two greatest health challenges of her life: the early cancer diagnosis and the 'game-changing' moment she lost her voice after having an operation on her throat. 'It was incredible', Delta began. 'My album was taking off – I was coming over to the UK to do Top of the Pops and then I found a lump in my neck. 'I was getting tired all the time and I felt my immune system was kind of breaking down. I thought that maybe I wasn't looking after myself enough – I was doing 14-hour signings. 'I was due to fly to the US, but I had a strange feeling. I had some biopsies done – and I was then diagnosed, at the same time that the world had just taken my music in. 'It changed the trajectory of my life completely. The whole country was sitting outside my front door watching me and my family go through this thing the best we could. 'I knew everything was going to be very different. How do you all of a sudden go from planes, trains, and automobiles to this being your life?' Though the diagnosis 'hurt' physically and emotionally, Delta doesn't view that period negatively because of the 'triumph' of her foundation's work. 'I don't see the cancer as dark, I see it as a triumph', she said. Years after recovering from one major career setback, Delta suffered another in 2018, having to undergo an operation that forced her to relearn how to speak 'Ever since my diagnosis, we have raised a lot of money. I have been ride or die with those people that saved me for many years now. 'I cannot look at that as dark. I look at it like – life made sure I could be of service to people.' Years after recovering from one major career setback, Delta suffered another in 2018, having to undergo an operation that forced her to relearn how to speak. A buildup of calcium in her salivary gland formed a small stone which later became lodged in her throat. 'That was a very surrendering moment', she explained. 'Everything was kind of washed off the bone. I was so glad that was private – because I needed some time. I lived out of the city in my family home - and my beautiful partner was with me. 'It was game-changing actually – having a moment to get away from all the noise.' Delta Goodrem's memoir, Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, is out now.

Katie Price sparks concern with tiny frame and BBL in barely-there bodysuit
Katie Price took to the stage in Portsmouth for a Pride performance on Saturday, showing off her gravity-defying Brazilian Butt Lift while belting out a selection of songs Katie Price has worried fans again after taking to the stage showing off her tiny frame and eye-popping bum lift. The mum-of-five, 46, has admitted to losing weight recently, saying it's something she 'wanted to do'. However, in Saturday's snaps, the Pricey, who has admitted she suffers from body dysmorphia, sparked concern among her legion of loyal fans when she rocked up to sing at a Pride event in Portsmouth, sporting a tiny black thong leotard, fishnet tights, ankle boots and a sparkly crown with 'Pricey' encrusted on it in pink diamonds as the glamour icon belted out her favourite songs. Addressing the excitable crowd, who she told she was not wearing any underwear, she said: "I could have put some more clothes on couldn't I! It's bloody freezing out here. The next song is one of my favourite karaoke songs, you'll all know it, it's energetic but sing along. She continued: "I've got no knickers on, so keep checking that nothing's on show. I keep doing that in case a lip hangs out." After that bombshell, Katie also commented on her gravity-defying bottom, promising: "I'm going to get some more in it this week, I want a bigger, better butt." Katie spoke candidly about her weight loss last month after fans expressed their concern over her appearance. Admitting that she had lost weight because she wanted to, she said on Rob Moore's Disruptors podcast: "Yes I've lost weight. Yes that what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight." Explaining why she felt she needed to drop a dress size, she continued: "Because the past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I'd never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. "And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. So yeah I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn't me. 'Now I've gone back, now the IVF that's all come out, and I'm more active because I could do more because of my feet, and I'm horse riding again, then naturally, I'm going back athletic again.' Praising the star's figure, Married At First Sight, Ella Morgan, was brought out on stage by Katie in Portsmouth as the two women insisted they 'loved' each other despite their connection to JJ Slater. Ella dated JJ, who is now Katie's boyfriend, when the pair appeared on the Channel 4 show two years ago. Complimenting each other's bodies, including their bums and boobs, the pair giggled as Katie joked Ella may have a "designer vagina". Katie has raised eyebrows among followers after showcasing her noticeably slimmer appearance on social media, with many expressing concern for her well-being. Since her transformation, she's been questioned about whether she's been using Ozempic injections or similar treatments to achieve her appearance, which she has repeatedly denied. The Mucky Mansion star stressed that her weight loss was achieved by natural methods, revealing she pays close attention to her diet and incorporates more physical activity into her routine. However, some fans aren't convinced and begged the self-confessed surgery addict to leave herself alone, insisting Katie is 'naturally beautiful' and 'doesn't need anything'.
