Bigg Boss 19 tentative contestants list: Ram Kapoor, Munmun Dutta, Mr Faisu, Kanika Mann approached for Salman Khan-hosted show
Bigg Boss 19 Tentative Contestants: It's time once again for the biggest reality show on Indian television to return with a new season. A few months ago, SCREEN had exclusively confirmed that Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan. is indeed returning. However, there has not been much buzz around this season or its contestants. Now, as we approach the season's premiere, we have additional updates on the show's release date, format, duration, and more.
A source has confirmed to SCREEN that the show will indeed go on air in August, and a final date is yet to be locked. Earlier, it was said that the show would premiere on August 2, but that won't happen. Also, this year, the makers will start with the main season on TV and then, after 3 and a half to four months, the show will head into the OTT version. While Banijay Asia will produce the show, it will feature on Viacom 18 channels only.

Salman Khan will host this season, and the tentative theme for the show this year is Rewind. As per a source, a lot of features and formats in the show will be changed this time. The concept of Secret Rooms that existed in earlier seasons, where the bottom two contestants who are nominated will be isolated and see the game from that room.
Also, the contestants will not have the power to nominate; that will happen through audience voting; however, it would be the contestants who might play an important role in evicting their fellow players. Simultaneously, tasks would decide if the contestants will get their weekly ration or not; if a task gets canceled, the contestants might have to stay hungry through the week.
While there have been rumors that this season would only have actors, that is not true. A few social media influencers have also been approached to be on the show. Here is the very first list of contestants who we might get to see this season:

Gauahar Khan on juggling between career and motherhood; says 'Wherever I was shooting for these 2 years, Zehaan was with me, I didn't care even if I had to bear the expenses'
Gauahar Khan, who is currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy is beautifully managing her work and family life. The actress wrapped up the shooting of her series Fauji 2 and has come up with her own podcast show about motherhood experiences and journey. Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress spoke about how she is juggling between work and family. Speaking about her second pregnancy and the precautions or changes she's considering after the birth of her son Zehaan, Gauahar responded, "Pregnancy is a very vast topic, you can't really put it in words at one time. But I would just like to say to all working mothers out there, who are also actors, everything is possible if you have a good support system. You should have good help, a supportive family and a caring husband, then everything is possible. I made sure that wherever I was shooting for these 2 years, Zehaan was with me. I didn't care even if I had to bear the expenses. But I have to know that I am bringing up my child and not just helping.' The Bigg Boss winner went on to thank the people and the production houses, who have supported her during her pregnancy phase, "I think it's a great industry we are a part of. Everybody is accepting women today in their form. And I know that after the birth of my second child, I will be back faster." Gauahar mentioned that once Zehaan fell ill while she was shooting for the climax in Pune for Fauji 2. She said, "He was admitted to hospital where his treatment was going on and Zaid arrived and took care of him while I simultaneously shot. When he was not getting better, we rushed to Mumbai and admitted him and he was in hospital for 10 days. But in times like these, the production was great to support me.' Recently at the launch of a song, Gauahar revealed being pregnant while shooting the climax of Fauji 2. She shared, "The best part for me was that while shooting for the Fauji 2 climax, I was already pregnant. Not few while shooting many episodes, I was pregnant.
