Netflix is still streaming all of The Hunting Wives star's ‘musical masterpieces'
There's good news for Netflix users jealous of US fans who have just got their hands on the most scandalous new murder mystery drama of the year.
The Hunting Wives stars Brittany Snow as Sophie O'Neil, a former journalist who moves to rural Texas with her husband and their young son.
Sophie soon strikes up a close relationship with Margo Banks (played by Malin Akerman), the alluring wife of her husband's new boss, oil tycoon Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney).
However, she bites off more than she can chew when she becomes indoctrinated into Margo's exclusive group of MAGA-supporting hunting friends, who all have a secret or two to hide.
When the body of a teenage girl is found in one of their favourite hunting spots, Sophie's life begins to spiral out of control.
This must-watch series is already causing waves in the USA after releasing this Monday (21st July), with the hope it will soon arrive to UK streamers.
Until then, fans can stream several hit films with The Hunting Wives' lead star on Netflix.
All three films in the Pitch Perfect series, which stars Snow alongside Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, are available on Netflix in the UK. Also on the streamer is one of her breakout films, the 2007 musical Hairspray.
Pitch Perfect is often considered a modern teen classic, and is the ideal campy, easy-going movie to throw on if you can't wait to see Snow step up her game in her scandalous new thriller.
One five-star Google review said: 'This masterpiece of a movie that stars one of my favorite singers (and actresses), has always been a favorite of mine.
'From the hilarious delivery of jokes to the amazing singing from the ENTIRE cast, this is absolutely one of my comfort movies.

'I mean, really -- there are so many perfect comedy lines throughout the movie, with a lovable cast to play the lovable characters (Rebel Wilson playing Fat Amy HAS to be my favorite <3). HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS FILM.'
'Pitch Perfect is one of my FAVORITE movies, I fell off of my sofa not even half way through the movie. It is HILARIOUS!!!' someone else raved.
And a third enthusiast wrote: 'This movie is an all-time favorite for my kids and hubby. We have a blast watching this every night, LOL!! It has the best messages and the singing is a hit!'
Fans also agree Hairspray is equally deserving of classic status, with one user writing: 'I love this movie so much. The message is to love everyone for who they are no matter what shape and size or what they look like.
'This movie is so inspiring and anyone can learn from it whether it be to love themselves for who they are or to love people who are different.'
If that's still not enough, Brittany Snow's Netflix Original romantic comedy with Gina Rodriguez, Someone Great, is also not going anywhere.
Pitch Perfect 1-3 and Hairspray are available to stream on Netflix.

Netflix fans 'can't wait' as Korean thriller set to rival Squid Game gets huge update
The tense Korean Netflix series may well appeal to fans of Squid Game, which recently came to an end. Netflix fans are saying 'about time' and 'finally' as the streaming giant has confirmed production has started for season 2 of one of its biggest Korean dramas. Following the conclusion of Squid Game, which is Netflix's most-watched show of all time, fans of the thriller are urged to check out another popular Korean series. The sci-fi show, which is returning for a second season after first premiering in 2022, has ranked among Netflix 's Top 10 most-watched non-English series of all time. Titled All of Us Are Dead, the thriller series has been billed as a 'catastrophic coming-of-age story in which teens at Hyosan High band together to survive a zombie outbreak'. The official Netflix synopsis reads: 'A high school becomes ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected.' After season one scored an impressive 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, All of Us Are Dead is making a triumphant comeback. Netflix shared the exciting production update earlier today, posting on X: 'All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is NOW IN PRODUCTION. 'Starring Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.' Taking to the comments, fans expressed their excitement over the news after what has felt like a long wait. There were plenty of comments like 'FINALLY', 'CAN'T WAIT' and 'ABOUT TIME'. 'WHATTTT ARE YOU KIDDING ME,' one fan enthused, as another chimed in: 'Here we go… It's about time!' 'All of Us are Dead WAITINGGG,' one viewer quipped, as one more wrote: 'Love it. Season 1 was so refreshing. Great story and love the hype that some of these super zombies might bring.' Yet another person remarked: 'Zombie apocalypse incoming! Can't wait to see what happens next. Park Ji-hu and team bringing serious drama this season.' All of Us Are Dead, based on the 2009 webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun, was watched over 474.26 million hours in its first 30 days on Netflix. It also received largely positive reviews from critics, with Caroline Framke of Variety writing: 'Like Squid Game before it, All of Us Are Dead makes the most out of its nightmarish central location to otherworldly, dizzying effect.' Brad Newsome of the Sydney Morning Herald expressed: 'This stunning Korean series shows that it's still possible to make compelling, imaginative, thought-provoking and hugely entertaining zombie splatter more than a decade after The Walking Dead spawned an unending genre glut.' The Daily Beast's Nick Schager wrote: 'This 12-part South Korean Netflix series about zombies invading a high school is gruesome, thrilling, and highly addictive.' However, not everyone was impressed, with IndieWire's Steve Greene writing: 'It's delivered in an oddly-paced season that fights against an intuitive structure as much as these students try to beat back chomps from throngs of kids in uniforms.'

Netflix sequel of Happy Gilmore 2 had to be rewritten for one heartbreaking reason
Netflix is releasing Happy Gilmore 2 on Friday July 25, almost 30 years after the 1996 film graced screens, with most of the original cast set to return. Happy Gilmore 2 is set to be released on Netflix this weekend after nearly three decades since the first hit film came out in 1996. The highly anticipated comedy sequel, which premieres on Friday July 25, sees the return of unconventional golfer Happy, played by Adam Sandler, who comes out of retirement to fund his daughter Vienna's ballet school, who is portrayed by the actor's real life daughter, Sunny Sandler. While the original iconic cast are set to return including Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller, there will be one famous face missing. Carl Weathers, who famously played Chubbs Peterson, the mentor to Sandler's Gilmore, in the 1996 film passed away last year at 76-years-old. Sandler has revealed the sequel to Happy Gilmore had to be rewritten following the death of the Rocky and Predator star. Speaking to Collider, Sandler revealed that although Peterson died in the original film, he had planned to bring Weathers back for a significant role in the sequel film. Sandler said: 'We had a painful change. Carl Weathers had a massive part.' The 58-year-old former Saturday Night Live star continued: 'I would talk to Carl, and we were excited, and then Carl passed away. "We had to rewrite a lot of the stuff, and even what the story was. We made a lot of nice references to how great Chubbs was in the movie. That was the biggest change.' When asked what role Weathers' character would have played in the film, Sandler explained: 'In the first version that we came up with, he had a son. "He was coming back to me a lot in my dreams, and he had a son who was mad at Happy for causing the death of daddy.' Much of the original cast are returning for the new film. Modern Family star Julie Bowen revealed earlier this month that she hadn't expected to be asked to return. Bowen played Virginia Venit who is a rep for a professional golf tour and the protagonist's love interest. Speaking on the Inside of You podcast, Bowen revealed that she had assumed she'd be written out of the sequel. She said: 'I didn't think they'd bring me back at all. I mean, who am I supposed to be? "He's got to have a younger woman in this one, Happy Gilmore 2.' She added that while she expected to get less screen time, Sandler repeatedly told her not to downplay the importance of her role in the film. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! She said: 'Adam's like, 'Stop saying that. You're the heart of the movie'." Netflix announced last year that Sandler would be returning for his role as Gilmore, an ice hockey player with anger management problems who realises he can channel that anger into major pro golf wins. Newcomers Benny Safdie and Bad Bunny join the cast, along with a thrilling array of cameos and guest appearances from Travis Kelce, Margaret Qualley, Eminem and several professional golfers.
