The Sun12-06-2025
NEW LOOK is one of the staple streets on the high street.
Known for its reasonable pricing, you know you can always bag yourself good wardrobe staples without breaking the bank.
But another thing New Look does well is summer.
And this year the brand has really upped the game with one of their chicest collection today.... and you'll be wanting to add so many buys straight to your basket.
From flowy fabrics to comfort being key whilst vibrant prints and colours make the whole range scream summer, this is certainly not one to sleep on.
Here, Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale has you covered, showing you ten of the brand's best pieces to buy now.
The top
This sweetheart neckline top comes in a linen fabric which makes it perfect for summer.
With a tie at the back you can add more shape to the top as you wish.
A great 'jeans and a nice top' combination, it's a really versatile top that you could also dress up with a midi skirt and heels for a summery evening out, or take to the office - meaning more cost per wear.
The dress
For just less than £40 this check midi dress is an absolute steal.
It wouldn't look out of place on sites like Damson Madder and Sister Jane, but yet New Looks version is just a fraction of the price.
The shirring on the front of the bust makes this extra stretchy for those with a fuller cup and the added bow detailing on the hip gives this an extra bit of oomph compared to a normal midi dress.
Not only that but it looks super comfortable too - adds immediately to basket.
The bag
New Look has a wide selection of bags, but this one in particular is a stand out.
The raffia bucket bag style is big enough to fit all your essentials in and will also go with so many pieces in your wardrobe.
Whether you want to take it on holiday or as an everyday summer bag then this is a perfect option.
Plus it's a great price at £27.99, similar bags retail for more than double this.
The shorts
Shorts, £19.99
Gingham shorts are all the rage this summer and this red pair from New Look is just £19.99.
The elasticated waist makes them extra comfy and easy to wear and the white scallop trim detailing makes them feel more premium.
Whether you're wanting a pair to potter around in the garden or for your summer holiday this pair would look great with a graphic t-shirt, cut blouse or a classic white shirt.
The Tee
T-shirt, £14.99
Graphic t-shirts are all over the high street and are an easy throw on piece to add to your wardrobe.
You can inject some colour with this one for just £14.99.
Great to wear with denim shorts, linen trousers or skirts - it's a really easy way of making your look feel and look summery.
The skirt
Mini skirt, £24.99
If you want the look of a sarong style skirt without the faff of actually tying one then this option for New Look could be for you.
With the tie detail already in place at the side it's done all the hard work for you.
Perfect for your holidays with flat sandals, a raffia bag and a t-shirt or wear over your swimwear for a stylish beach look.
The co-ord
Midi skirt, £32.99
This printed a-line midi skirt is super fun for summer.
Bright and colourful with a postcard style print, the elasticated waistband makes it super comfortable, before flaring out into the a-line style which makes it even more flattering.
Whilst it does come with a matching top to make it into a handy co-ord you could also mix it up with a t-shirt, shirt or blouse depending on your preference.
The trainer
Trainers, £32.99
Colourful trainers are still very popular, but instead of spending nearly £100 on a pair, New Look has options for less than half that price.
For just £32.99 this red and pink pair is not only a great colour combination, but will make you bang on trend without spending too much cash.
Plus they'll be great for wearing day in day out.
The sandal
Heels, £35.99
Finding a pair of heels that are comfortable is no mean feet.
However, New Look is renowned for how comfortable its shoes can be.
This brown woven pair has a good sturdy block heel, ankle strap for extra support and also comes in white depending on your preference.
With head to toe padding and a flexible sole you'll be able to stay on your feet for hours.
The trousers
Like a lot of other pieces the brand has really thought about comfort with the tie elasticated waist and loose fitting flow of the trousers, making them breathable and cool.
The flowy style makes them great for this time of year.

The team is made up of children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and special educational needs."A lot of our kids, would not be able to play mainstream football for one reason or another, we have kids with cerebral palsy, we have kids that are visually impaired, we have kids who are neuro-diverse," said head coach Jo O'Callaghan."They just would not be able to keep up with the physicality or the pace of mainstream football." "So clubs like ours, I mean - football's for everyone - all children can do what they love."Campbell and Hassan met some of players and watched them play in their new kit."We loved the whole initiative when it was first talked about," said Campbell."It was suggested by a very good friend of ours... and we just thought what a lovely idea."I love watching them play - still haven't been to a game [and] we're going to struggle again this season because we're so busy, but at some point we're going to come and watch them.""[The kit] looks wonderful," Hassan added."I did not know there were so many different designs, but yes they look wonderful." Liam Neeson fans savage reporter for asking him about 'cringe' topic during 'nonsense' interview

Liam Neeson is no stranger to press tours. He has been acting for more than 50 years and the current press tour he is on for The Naked Gun - featuring Pamela Anderson - is just one of many he has tackled throughout his career. And while the actor, 73, may be familiar with the interview style of a press tour, it's clear that he is not familiar with Labubus. What do the two have to do with each other? Well, a Metro reporter recently decided to ask the acclaimed star about the furry trend in the middle of an interview about his upcoming film. During a segment of INTERROBAIT, the reporter turned around his notepad and showed Liam a picture of a Labubu, asking him if he knew what it was. 'Haven't a clue,' he responded. 'No. Seriously, I don't know.' 'It's a fluffy doll? Or can you eat it?' he asked. The Metro reported then went on to explain the fervor surrounding the toy and how people have even fought over them - eventually admitting that he himself owns a pink one. 'Doesn't surprise me,' Liam said. 'I've never heard of them. No!' Liam was then shown a picture of a Lafufu and Liam guessed that it was 'an early drawing of E.T.' When the reported explained that it was a Labubu without the hair, Liam awkwardly responded, 'And without the genitals.' The reporter laughed it off but Liam's fans online were less entertained. 'Why do actors have to deal with this nonsense? Are there real reporters or interviewers anymore?' one user asked on X (formerly Twitter). 'Press tour interviews where they try to manufacture viral moments or the interview is a cringe try hard who clearly wants to be friends with the actors need to stop,' another added. 'Back in my day, they'd ask the actors questions about the movie on the press tour,' another shared. Fans slammed the reporter for the question, blaming it on 'the influencer era' and reporters vying for a viral moment Some fans blamed the rise of influencers and viral moments for the uncomfortable exchange. 'The influencer era and its consequences has been devastating for society. Sports. Movies. You can't escape their wrath and poison,' one fervently said. But some users pushed back, saying that this interview style is not new or shocking. 'Celebrities have been asked about dumb s**t for as long as celebrities have existed,' a fan said. 'Agree, but I also think this is really funny,' another fan said in regard to the backlash. 'Harmlessly reacting to a trend, rather than actually derailing things.' Most of Liam's interviews have revolved around his new romance with Pamela, and so at the very least the Labubu question is a change of pace.

Zoe Ball ‘frozen and in tears' after yob smashed car window and stole bag while she was on The One Show

ZOE Ball has revealed she had a "massive cry" after a yob smashed her car window and stole her handbag while she was on The One Show. The radio and TV star, 54, was recounting a recent appearance on the prime time BBC show on her Dig It podcast with Jo Whiley. 2 2 After fun catching up with pal Vernon Kay, the good vibes from the studio quickly faded when Zoe returned to her shattered window. She explained: "Someone had smashed the front window of my car, that's never happened to me before." Initially left "frozen" by the upsetting find, Zoe used a festival poncho in the car to cover the damaged window. She then blasted the Radio 2 country show at ear-splitting volume as she carefully drove the 64 miles home to Brighton. Zoe was relieved nothing of value was taken, though she admitted: "I got in and I had a massive cry." "It was good, I love a big blub. The ones where you wake up in the morning and your face is a bit swollen and you're like, 'Well, I'm glad I got that out'." She partly blamed herself for the theft, having left her bag on display. She explained: "Do you know what I did? I did a stupid thing, I was so busy running into The One Show with my suits and my bag and everything. "And we were going to do a picture with our Spotify picture, which was amazing, and I left a bag on the front seat. Big no, no in London, idiot. Luckily, nothing in it except my diary." In solidarity, Jo then shared how she had a phone pinched from her hand in a street mugging. She said: "Just a boy on a bike just literally snatched it from my hand. "And then you having something like this, it's just so disappointing that people would do that to another person."
