Reggae stars UB40 have presented a Solihull football team with a new FC, a pan-disability squad, have been sponsored by the Birmingham group for the 2025/26 season and members of the band joined the team for the strip's Campbell and Norman Hassan said the band was proud to support the will play their matches at Tudor Grange Academy in the new West Midlands Inclusion League. The team is made up of children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and special educational needs."A lot of our kids, would not be able to play mainstream football for one reason or another, we have kids with cerebral palsy, we have kids that are visually impaired, we have kids who are neuro-diverse," said head coach Jo O'Callaghan."They just would not be able to keep up with the physicality or the pace of mainstream football." Liam Neeson fans savage reporter for asking him about 'cringe' topic during 'nonsense' interview
Liam Neeson is no stranger to press tours. He has been acting for more than 50 years and the current press tour he is on for The Naked Gun - featuring Pamela Anderson - is just one of many he has tackled throughout his career. And while the actor, 73, may be familiar with the interview style of a press tour, it's clear that he is not familiar with Labubus. What do the two have to do with each other? Well, a Metro reporter recently decided to ask the acclaimed star about the furry trend in the middle of an interview about his upcoming film. During a segment of INTERROBAIT, the reporter turned around his notepad and showed Liam a picture of a Labubu, asking him if he knew what it was. 'Haven't a clue,' he responded. 'No. Seriously, I don't know.' 'It's a fluffy doll? Or can you eat it?' he asked. The Metro reported then went on to explain the fervor surrounding the toy and how people have even fought over them - eventually admitting that he himself owns a pink one. 'Doesn't surprise me,' Liam said. 'I've never heard of them. No!' Liam was then shown a picture of a Lafufu and Liam guessed that it was 'an early drawing of E.T.' When the reported explained that it was a Labubu without the hair, Liam awkwardly responded, 'And without the genitals.' The reporter laughed it off but Liam's fans online were less entertained. Zoe Ball ‘frozen and in tears' after yob smashed car window and stole bag while she was on The One Show
ZOE Ball has revealed she had a "massive cry" after a yob smashed her car window and stole her handbag while she was on The One Show. The radio and TV star, 54, was recounting a recent appearance on the prime time BBC show on her Dig It podcast with Jo Whiley. 2 2 After fun catching up with pal Vernon Kay, the good vibes from the studio quickly faded when Zoe returned to her shattered window. She explained: "Someone had smashed the front window of my car, that's never happened to me before." Initially left "frozen" by the upsetting find, Zoe used a festival poncho in the car to cover the damaged window. She then blasted the Radio 2 country show at ear-splitting volume as she carefully drove the 64 miles home to Brighton. Zoe was relieved nothing of value was taken, though she admitted: "I got in and I had a massive cry." "It was good, I love a big blub. The ones where you wake up in the morning and your face is a bit swollen and you're like, 'Well, I'm glad I got that out'." She partly blamed herself for the theft, having left her bag on display. She explained: "Do you know what I did? I did a stupid thing, I was so busy running into The One Show with my suits and my bag and everything. "And we were going to do a picture with our Spotify picture, which was amazing, and I left a bag on the front seat. Big no, no in London, idiot. Luckily, nothing in it except my diary." In solidarity, Jo then shared how she had a phone pinched from her hand in a street mugging. She said: "Just a boy on a bike just literally snatched it from my hand. "And then you having something like this, it's just so disappointing that people would do that to another person."
