How to watch Kneecap's Glastonbury 2025 performance
One of the more controversial acts performing in recent years will be the Irish rap trio who have been in the headlines after one of their members was charged with a terror offence.
Liam Og O hAnnaidh was charged for allegedly displaying a flag in support of proscribed terrorist organisation Hezbollah at a gig in London in November last year.
Last week the 27-year-old, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was cheered by hundreds of supporters as he arrived with bandmates Naoise O Caireallain and JJ O Dochartaigh at Westminster Magistrates' Court in 'Free Mo Chara' T-shirts.

He was released on unconditional bail until his next hearing at the same court on August 20.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said the group's performance at the festival is not 'appropriate' and Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch said she thought the BBC 'should not be showing' Kneecap's performance. UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has also said she "personally" does not want it on her TV.
When is Kneecap performing at Glastonbury 2025?
Kneecap will be performing on the West Holts stage on Saturday, June 28 at 4pm.
The BBC will provide live streams of the five main stages – Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies and The Park, as usual. Will the BBC show Kneecap's Glastonbury 2025 set live?
It is not likely. According to the BBC's guide for Saturday, their live Glastonbury coverage will begin at 5pm.
With Kneecap performing at 4pm, they will not be featured live on TV.
How else can I watch Kneecap live at Glastonbury?
If it isn't streamed on TV, it may be available to watch on the BBC iPlayer live as they bring back their "Glastonbury Channel".
The news release states: "The Glastonbury Channel returns (Friday 27 - Sunday 29 June, 12pm-late). Hosts Clara Amfo, Huw Stephens, Jack Saunders, Jamz Supernova, Jo Whiley and Lauren Laverne will guide viewers through the biggest sets and festival surprises as they happen, the standout moments from BBC One and BBC Two as they are broadcast, and special guests."
With it being shown "live online" via iPlayer, it is likely the set will be subject to the usual delays and editorial restrictions over "controversial content".

Michael Eavis on Glastonbury Festival's politics amid Kneecap row
Glastonbury Festival has opened, with founder Sir Michael Eavis stating that attendees who disagree with the event's political leanings "can go somewhere else." Irish rap trio Kneecap remains on the line-up despite controversy, after one member was charged with a terror offence, a decision supported by organiser Emily Eavis. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer commented that it would not be "appropriate" for Kneecap to perform following the charge related to displaying a Hezbollah flag. This year's festival features headline acts including The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, with Sir Rod Stewart performing the Sunday teatime legends slot. Organisers have introduced changes for this year, such as selling fewer tickets to prevent overcrowding and transforming the Shangri-La area into a greener space.

BBC forced to issue apology after livid Doctor Who fans complain about episode being 'spoiled'
The BBC issued a statement after livid Doctor Who fans complained about an episode being 'spoiled'. Doctor Who's 15th season wrapped up last month and saw Ncuti Gatwa depart as the Time Lord in the series' finale. Ncuti's character regenerated into Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) in scenes that sent viewers into a meltdown. However, some fans voiced concerns that the episode was ruined because the BBC News site published an article with the headline: 'Ncuti Gatwa regenerates into Billie Piper as he leaves Doctor Who'. A spoiler warning was then written underneath, but many felt the headline spoiled the ending. Since then, the broadcaster has acknowledged the complaints and explained the reasoning behind the story. The statement read: 'Some people contacted us to complain that the headline gave away the ending, spoiling this Doctor Who episode for them. 'Others requested that the BBC be more conscious of spoilers going forward, particularly in the use of headlines. 'Ncuti Gatwa's departure from the series had been widely speculated and many fans will have been aware that this was a possibility. 'The headline on the news homepage that evening referred to Ncuti Gatwa's departure because this was a legitimate entertainment news story in its own right, and it is not unusual that we would carry this type of story once a programme has been broadcast and the details in the public domain.' It went on to reveal details of the regeneration was added in later on in the evening. The statement continued: 'While we cannot account for everyone's viewing habits, we initially held back from headlining the announcement of Ncuti Gatwa's regeneration into Billie Piper. 'This extra detail was added later in the evening and our approach was consistent across the BBC site. 'BBC journalists are of course entitled to use their judgement to decide which stories to cover and the manner in which they are reported. We also want our headlines to be as informative as possible. 'Although every story is different, we have discussed your concerns on this occasion with senior editors and we will be mindful of your views for future coverage.' When the episode aired, devout Whovians were not expecting the huge twist at the end when Ncuti's character regenerated into Rose amid his departure after just two series as woke storylines saw ratings for the much-loved show plunge. Billie first starred as the companion to the ninth Doctor in 2005, playing Rose Tyler alongside Christopher Eccleston's Time Lord. She went onto star alongside David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor in the second series. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to share their reaction to Billie's shock comeback, with one even asking: ''Did my eyes actually deceive me?!'
