'It's a concept album meant to medicate culture through music…bringing the divine into the day to day,' she told Lowe.

Miley Cyrus 'Something Beautiful' album
Ahead of the May 30 release of 'Something Beautiful,' Cyrus has dropped four singles.
Each features her signature raw sound over ethereal instrumentations, creating a sonic clash. This is Americana meets the club, which is a great way to summarize Miley's singular aesthetic.
In the event you haven't listened yet, 'More to Lose' is a disco ballad complete with a luxurious synthy sax solo, 'End of the World' will get you on the dance floor in no time, title track 'Something Beautiful' starts as a gorgeous slow dance before busting out into a full-blown stadium anthem and 'Prelude' kicks off the whole affair with nimble, discordant Philip Glass-like arrangements under spoken word lyrics from Cyrus.
To hear for yourself, you can find the four singles ahead of 'Something Beautiful's' release here.

Why Eminem Is Suing Meta for $109 Million
Originally appeared on E! Online is not afraid to go toe-to-toe with a social media giant. The 'Love the Way You Lie' rapper's publishing company Eight Mile Style filed a lawsuit against Meta Platforms—which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp—accusing the tech company of copyright infringement and seeking over $109 million in damages, according to court documents filed May 30 and obtained by E! News June 3. In the filing, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) alleges that Meta violated the copyright of 243 songs from his catalog through the 'unauthorized storage, reproduction and exploitation' of the tracks on their platforms. The lawsuit cites the apps' features, including Original Audio and Reels, as tools that 'allow and encourage its users to steal' his music to use in video content 'without proper attribution or license.' As a result, the Grammy winner is seeking monetary damages for 'the diminished value of the copyrights by Defendants' theft of them, lost profits, and Defendants' profits attributable to the infringement.' Alternatively, he asked for the maximum statutory damages, requesting $150,000 for each of the songs in question across all three of Meta's platforms, totaling a whopping $109,350,000. Wild Disneyland Brawl Erupts for Pettiest Reason
If the original Disneyland is 'The Happiest Place on Earth,' Disneyland Shanghai might be vying for 'The Pettiest Place on Earth' tagline. As the New York Post reports, the family-friendly theme park turned into the site of a vicious brawl between two couples, one of whom had a young child—all of which was caught on to witnesses, the animosity between the two groups seemed to begin when one couple wandered into the shot while the other was attempting to take a photo of themselves. But quiet seething turned into shocking violence when one couple claimed the other attempted to cut in front of them in line. With dozens of onlookers, including small children, watching, one of the men—decked out in some sort of character hat, while his female companion were a bunny hat—began pushing the other man. All that shoving eventually led to the original pushee throwing an elbow to the face of the original attacker. At that point, the female half of the hat-wearing duo jumped in the middle of the two men and began kicking and grabbing at the face of the other man. While the men continued locked in their tussle, the woman—without losing her bunny hat—instead turned her attention back to the second female, and appeared to shove the couple's young child, who was on the woman's hip, in the face. The unexpected attack cause the mom to begin screaming and drop to the ground with her child—while Ms. Bunny Hat went back to try and get in on the fight between the two men, which soon turned into a chokehold that took the original victim two women and a man—presumably unrelated to either couple—attempted to break up the melee. Disneyland staffers eventually put an end to the skirmish which, somewhat ironically, went down outside the park's Crazy Animal City ride. While the New York Post reports that only minor injuries reported, both couples could be facing a lifetime ban from ever visiting the park under its rules against engaging in any violence. The "Espresso" singer's new look, which consists of a white button-up, baby blue heels and denim cutoffs, continues to turn heads on social media. Free People, on the other hand, did not see the same success when they promoted their own version of the "micro" denim shorts on social media in March 2024, about five months before Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" album was released. Customers of the high-end retailer weighed in on the length of the shorts in the social media post's comments, joking about how the length of the shorts would not work for the average adult woman. "Everybody relax with these rude, aggressive comments. I bought them for my hamster and she loves them!' one user wrote. Those who chimed in bonded over their mutual dislike of the shorts. The response to Carpenter's outfit was completely different, with brands, fans and even haters showering her with compliments. "Femininity is something that I've always embraced," Carpenter told TIME in an October 2024 interview. "And if right now that means corsets and garter belts and fuzzy robes or whatever the (expletive), then that's what that means."
