Nearly $2K worth of fragrances and cosmetics stolen from two businesses: Guelph police

Guelph police are investigating two large thefts of fragrances and cosmetics at different stores an hour apart.
The first happened around 6:15 p.m. Monday, where police said three suspects went into a business near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North, removing $950 worth of fragrances and hair products.
Police described the suspects as:
Male, 30, 5'9', medium build, blond hair, black jacket, shorts and running shoes
Male, 25, 5'2', thin build, blond hair, black jacket, black jeans, white shoes
Female, late 20s, 5'8', thin build, blond hair, black hoodie, blue shorts, black shoes
Just over an hour later, three suspects went into a business at Stone Road Mall.
Polcie said one of them appeared to act as a lookout while the other two stole more than $1,000 worth of fragrances and cosmetics.
Police described the suspects as:
Male, approximately 40, light brown skin, 6'2' with a medium to large build, short black hair, facial hair, black polo-style shirt, black shorts, black baseball cap, small shoulder bag
Male, approximately 40, light brown skin, 6'0', medium build, shaved black hair, goatee, grey and black jacket, light wash denim shorts, black running shoes, small shoulder bag
Male, approximately 40, light brown skin, 5'9', thin build, short black hair and facial hair, grey and black jacket, black ripped jeans, black and white sneakers
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact police.

The Wetaskiwin RCMP Crime Reduction Unit was patrolling when they saw a known male offender driving a Hyundai Venue on Tuesday. Officers stopped him after finding that he did not have a driver's licence. Mounties found about 27 grams of fentanyl and approximately 53 grams of methamphetamine as well as other items consistent with drug trafficking in the vehicle. RCMP charged a 22-year-old Mackwacis man with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. The man is to appear in Wetaskiwin court on Thursday. Another individual who was in the vehicle has two charges pending for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
