Based on Alan Alda's 1981 romantic comedy film of the same name, The Four Seasons is an upcoming eight-part series about six longtime friends who embark on a peaceful weekend getaway. However, their vacation turns into a nightmare when one of the couples reveals they are about to break up.
The star-studded cast includes Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen. The Four Seasons premieres on Netflix on Thursday, May 1.
Produced by Amy Libowski (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Forever is a forthcoming television series based on Judy Blume's groundbreaking 1975 novel of the same name. It stars Michael Cooper Jr., Lovie Simone, and Xosha Roquemore.
The official log line for the show, according to Netflix, reads, 'Reunited as teens, two childhood friends fall deeply in love, experiencing the joy and heartache of a first romance that will change their lives forever.' Forever premieres on Netflix on Thursday, May 8.
Starring Julianne Moore as billionaire philanthropist Michaela Kell, Meghann Fahy as Devon, Milly Alcock as Simone, and Kevin Bacon as Michaela's husband, billionaire Peter Kell, in the lead cast, Sirens is a dark comedy that revolves around a dysfunctional family. Sirens premieres on Netflix on Thursday, May 22.
Its official synopsis reads, 'Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela's cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it's time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. ‘Our Times' movie review: All hail women in this time-hopping romance
Our Times is a Mexican romance-drama with a hint of sci-fi. The movie revolves around Nora, played by singer and regular Latin Grammy Awards host Lucero, who is shown to be the brains behind building a time machine along with her husband Hector, played by Benny Ibarra. Hector sees her as a loving partner, whereas the staff at the National Autonomous University of Mexico sees her more as Hector's assistant. They try for extra funds for their project, and invite the University's dean for a meal. The dean likes the dinner prepared by Nora, but doesn't pay heed to her scientific opinions. After Nora realises how to make the time machine work, the physicist duo travel in time from 1966 to 2025, and face the wonders of the 21st century. The catch is to keep their scientific breakthrough hidden from the world. Nora and Hector learn about new technologies in 2025, try on the latest fashion and even experience wokeism while trying to figure out a way back to the present. Hector finds it hard to adapt to a world full of women with equal rights whereas Nora enjoys the experiences and continues to project her brilliance. By travelling in time, one could imagine that the main character had a complete shift to a multicultural social development. The movie was shot in Mexico City and one can appreciate the production design depicting the city in the 1960s. In 2025, Hector feels as though others see him as Nora's assistant and tries to prove his worth. At a conclave where Nora is the guest of honour on International Women's Day, he cuts into her speech with his 'mansplaining' inputs. His speech doesn't get an applause, but the audience are appalled by his opinions which come out as offensive to women. When the plot is focused on feminism, it reflects the power of women in today's world, in stark contrast to the 60s. Nora finds her voice and is able to accept the progressive mindsets that validate women. She gets to know what patriarchy means and reexamines the old ways. She realises that gender roles have undergone a change and women are able to express themselves and be free. What happens to their character arc, was the most expected. The husband leaves Nora in the future and goes back in time to set her free. He writes a letter saying she is creating her own success and is destined for greater things. The movie ends on a different note though, after she lives a life full of achievements. Their wrinkled faces reminded me of the 90-year-old character in the film Kapoor & Sons, where Rishi Kapoor underwent extensive make-up and looked like someone whose face got swelled up due from a food allergy. To call Our Times a sci-fi film wouldn't do justice to other sci-fi films, as the plot doesn't quite convince the audience. What the film lacks in screenplay, editing, scene continuity, chemistry as well as music, it makes up with its messaging. Our Times is currently streaming on Netflix

During the course of the show, the contestants formed close bonds with each other, while performing challenges together. Among them, the relationship of Yoon So Hee and Jung Hyun Gyu were particularly talked about, even leading to dating rumors. The former finally clarified the issue during her recent appearance at Ha Suk Jin's YouTube show. How did Yoon So Hee and Jung Hyun Gyu's dating rumor start? Yoon So Hee and Jung Hyun Gyu 's on-screen camaraderie in The Devil's Plan: Death Room sparked intense speculation about the nature of relationship between the two contestants. During her appearance on Ha Suk Jin's YouTube show, fans finally got the answer they were eagerly waiting for regarding the rumored romance between them. Ha Suk Jin directly asked Yoon So Hee about the speculation, referencing a remark she made before the semifinal game of the Netflix show began. The comment in question was– "I hope that Jung Hyun Gyu does not lose." The host probed further, asking her to clarify the reason behind her statement and whether it stemmed from her interest in him. "Why did you say that you wanted Hyun Gyu to do well, instead of yourself? Was it the perspective of a noona (older female) looking out for a guy she's interested in?" he asked. She answered the question without hesitation. Yoo So Hee responded to dating speculations with Jung Hyun Gyu Yoon So Hee burst into laughter upon hearing the question, responding with, "What are you talking about?!" She then clarified her previous comment, explaining, "I think what I wanted to say at the time was, 'I want the two of us to do well and the other three to get out'. But I'm not the type of person who can say something so aggressive." She revealed that her statement was a more subtle way of expressing her sentiment. He further mentioned being frustrated by the way her comment was received by the viewers and having no one to share her feelings with, she said, " I vented at my younger brother."
