Biffy Clyro announce 2026 UK and Ireland shows for Futique tour
The Mountains band – made up of frontman Simon Neil and twin brothers James and Ben Johnston – will be hitting the road next year in support of their upcoming album of the same name, which is to be released on September 26.
The tour will begin on January 9 at Belfast's SSE Arena and will include stops in London and Manchester before concluding later in the month with two homecoming shows for the Scottish rockers in Aberdeen and Glasgow.
Biffy Clyro will be supported on the tour by special guests Soft Play and The Armed.
The group said of the announcement: "It's f****** time... 'The Futique Tour 2026.'
Tickets go on sale on July 31 at 10am, while pre-sale options will be available at the same time on July 29.
Futique marks Biffy Clyro's 10th studio record and Neil has described it as "an exploration of ideas, objects or relationships that exist across time".
The 45-year-old musician said: "We are never aware when we do anything for the last time, and there's a beauty and sadness within that. What will be your 'Futique'?"
A press release following the album's announcement in June read: "The idea behind the title was informed by Neil's thoughts on how our perceptions of memory have shifted during the digital era.
"Whereas once people might keep their treasured memories filed away in photo albums, now a seemingly infinite amount of images spanning years of our lives can be accessed in a split second on our phones.
"That led to reminiscing about the people and the things he misses from his youth. But more intriguingly, it inspired a different thought, what are the things that he cherishes now that he will miss in the future?"

What the London meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles' staff really means
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle feel the need to broker a reconciliation with cancer-stricken King Charles before it's too late, according to multiple sources. Senior staff for the couple were spotted meeting Charles' top PR aide in London last week in what was described as a secret peace summit. Charles, 76, is still being treated for cancer, and Hugo Vickers, author and friend of the royal family, mused that Harry would feel 'riddled with guilt' if he never saw his dad again. 'The ball is in Harry's court. He is the one who has to apologize and beg for forgiveness, and not the other way around,' Vickers told Page Six. The last time Harry, 40, saw Charles was when he flew to London after the king announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024 — and was only given a 30-minute meeting. Sources told us previously that Charles — who, it was announced Monday, will host President Donald Trump for his second state visit in September — is not cured, but is getting the best possible treatment. In May, Harry told the BBC he 'would love a reconciliation' with the royal family, in an emotional interview in which he said he was 'devastated' at losing a legal challenge over his security in the UK. Harry revealed that Charles 'won't speak to me because of this security stuff,' but added that he did not want to fight any more and did 'not know how much longer my father has.' The Mail on Sunday published photos of Meredith Maines, chief communications officer for Harry and Meghan Markle, meeting with Charles' communications secretary, Tobyn Andreae, last Wednesday. Liam Maguire, who oversees UK press for the Sussexes, was also present for the informal chat at the private club Royal Over-Seas League. '[The staff] may well have just been discussing routine things, which is more than likely, but at some point you have got to reconcile,' Vickers said. 'I don't think we'll see Harry returning to royal duties, but on a personal level it will be good if he's able to get on terms with his father.' The trio sat outside in full view of onlookers, which Vickers called 'odd.' Sussex sources said both camps were 'frustrated' that photos of the meeting were leaked. Maines had flown from Los Angeles to London to meet with the Sussexes' UK team as well as media, stakeholders and senior figures connected to the Duke's patronages. Other royal sources speculated that Harry, Markle and their children — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, who have had barely any in-person time with their grandfather — may get an invite from Charles to Balmoral, the Scottish estate where he stays every August. 'It's his house he can do whatever he likes,' said Vickers. 'But there's quite a lot of ground to be made up.' Harry and his brother, Prince William — who appeared with wife Kate Middleton and their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the Wimbledon's men's finals on Sunday — has not spoken to his younger brother in years. Sources have told William he has no plans to mend bridges with Harry. Vickers believes that Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew, is key to mending the family rift, as she remains close to her cousin Harry. 'They are going to grow up and work out that their first cousin [Prince George] is going to be the King of England,' he said. 'Eugenie seems to be the one in touch with Harry and seems to be the person who could broker the deal with the children.' STM Loves: Lewis Capaldi, Truffle Extravaganza, Huda Beauty lip stains, Mon Tout and Boutique Christmas Market
In just two weeks, the beloved Scottish singer-songwriter has managed a new single, a rescheduled Australian tour and a triumphant surprise Glastonbury set as he makes a return to music and public life. Two years ago, Capaldi was unable to finish his performance at the music festival due to his Tourette's, and the crowd finished his final song in a touching gesture of support. Capaldi, behind Someone You Loved (the UK's most streamed song and the world's fourth most streamed song ever) took time away to focus on his health and has now released a new single, Survive, which he played live at this year's Glastonbury. He's also rebooked his cancelled 2023 shows, including at RAC Arena, which will now be held on December 17. Past ticket holders had access to a presale this week and general ticket sales open on Monday July 14 via . Today is the final day of Fremantle Markets' Truffle Extravaganza, so it's your last chance to taste some delicious additions to various menus in partnership with WA business Great Southern Truffles. Eggspot have a truffle brioche burger, Akira Japanese are offering a truffle okonomiyaki and gluten-free folk can grab truffle-drizzled warm doughnuts from GFree Donuts WA. The markets are open today until 6pm. This winter, foodies are invited to try a deliciously unexpected collaboration between carb destination North Street Store and coastal Cottesloe Beach Hotel. Every Sunday from today until August 3, three limited-edition pairings will be served up inside The Beach Club. Priced at $25, they include a cocktail and sweet offering; our pick of the bunch is the golden macca cocktail (macadamia with a sprinkling of cinnamon) served with a NSS speciality — the cinnamon scroll. There is only 10 of each pairing available from 12pm, so get in early. STM had an . . . interesting time this week trying the new lip contour stains ($43) from Huda Beauty. Not for the faint-hearted, the felt-tip pen application comes out pigmented and bold, perfect for those looking for a long-lasting contour for their lips. Hot tip: find a tone that you feel comfortable with that complements your favourite lippie or gloss for a result that is sure to get you compliments. Huda Beauty is available online or at Sephora and Adore Beauty. Come July 25 to 27, inside Claremont's Wilkinson Gallery you can get in early for the festive season with an eclectic array of goods handcrafted by WA makers, from intricate ceramics to tasty gourmet treats. The fourth Boutique Christmas Market will bring together over 30 stalls including prints from Louise Farnay, small-batch condiments from The Mulberry Pig and ceramics from Chrissie Hogan and CE Ceramics. Better yet, if you pop in after 4pm on the Friday or Saturday you can enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles while you shop. This minimal intervention wine label has just released its 2024 vintage, with all the nuances that come with a hands-off approach to winemaking. Its Long Play blend, in particular, has taken a new direction and is now a straight chenin blanc from Margaret River, with a touch of skin contact to give it texture. Fruit for its four wines, which also include Strange Love (a grenache/pinot noir/pinot gris blend) and Cherry Picking (a Swan Valley grenache), is sourced from organic vineyards in WA's favourite wine regions and fermented naturally in ceramic eggs, stainless steel or French oak, and finished unfiltered with minimal sulphur. Our favourite for a wintry red is Kind Animals, which blends Swan Valley grenache, Margaret River shiraz and Mount Barker pinot noir. From select retailers or
