
UFC on ESPN 65 video: Dione Barbosa takes out Diana Belbita with first-round choke
After a feeling out process on the feet, Barbosa (8-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) got Belbita (13-10 MMA, 2-6 UFC) to her wheelhouse on the mat and went to work. She advances into position for an arm-triangle choke, then got the tap at the 4:13 mark of Round 1 in the women's flyweight bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

After winning her octagon debut in May 2024, Barbosa suffered a decision loss to Miranda Maverick in her sophomore appearance in July. After a nearly nine-month layoff, she returned to get her hand raised and put things back on track.
'If I have the opportunity for a finish, for sure I will capitalize,' Barbosa said in her post-fight interview with Michael Bisping.

Cameron Rowston has highly touted by City Kickboxing teammates Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker prior to Dana White's Contender Series 78, and he delivered an effort that will likely lead to a UFC contract.
