Stunning DAZN presenter doubles down on outfit choices after being accused of wearing 'unprofessional' attire by female reporter

Daily Mail20 hours ago
A DAZN presenter who was accused of being 'unprofessional' due to her outfit choices has doubled down on her attire.
Italian presenter Eleonora Incardona went viral while presenting coverage of the Club World Cup for the broadcaster.
Incardona, 34, was called out by fellow female pundit Valentina Maceri, who presents coverage of the Champions League for Swiss broadcaster Blue.
Maceri, 31, said: 'Incardona mainly presents the betting odds. And she does it very sexy. Sometimes vulgarly.'
Despite earning some detractors for her clothing choices in a professional environment, the Italian has stuck to her guns.
Speaking to Global Networker, she said: 'Style is clearly part of your personal and professional identity.
Fellow presenter Valentina Maceri hit out at Incardona for her 'vulgar, sexy' outfits
'How does fashion empower you in high-stakes, male-dominated environments like sports broadcasting? Fashion is my language.
'It helps me express who I am and feel confident, even in male-dominated or high-pressure environments.
'I never give up my femininity — on the contrary, I use it as a strength. When you feel good in your skin, you're ready for anything.'
Incardona's comments come after Munich-based fashion expert and stylist Sonja Grau delivered a blunt verdict on one of Incardona's recent outfits - a skimpy, figure-hugging black dress.
Grau did not hold back, labelling the presenter's outfit a no-go for the professional sports stage.
'It doesn't make a serious impression,' Grau told Bild. 'This is perfectly acceptable in leisure time, depending on the situation - for example, at the beach or a lake.
'But Ms. Incardona was in the business world, and that's not professional in any way and has nothing to do with style.
'Bare midriffs and that low neckline don't belong in the office either. It's fine in her free time, but everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to score with.'
Incardona was initially criticised in the wake of Maceri releasing aa book entitled 'F*** Female Empowerment: The Great Mistake of Modern Feminism'.
In the book, she states: 'Personally, I would say that the way female reporters present themselves on the sidelines in Italy is sometimes borderline.'
Then, in a fresh interview, she launched another attack on various female presenters, including the 34-year-old, for their choice of attire.
She said the Italian DAZN quartet's outfits, which have generated traction online, demonstrated little professionalism and that they 'lack style and class'.

Bayern Munich star Joao Palhinha responds to Arsenal transfer approach

Arsenal and Inter Milan have been linked with Bayern Munich's Joao Palhinha this summer (Picture: Getty) Joao Palhinha has distanced himself from reports that he could be on the move and insists he is 'very motivated' to 'prove his worth' at Bayern Munich next season. The 30-year-old will have been desperate to make up for lost time last term after joining Bayern in a £47.4m transfer from Fulham, 12 months after seeing a proposed deal collapse. But injury problems meant Palhinha never really got going across what was a frustrating debut season in German football, in which the midfielder made just six league starts. There has been some speculation that Palhinha could already be deemed surplus to requirements in Munich amid fierce competition for places in Vincent Kompany's engine room. Palhinha is battling it out for minutes with Leon Goretzka, Aleks Pavlovic, Joshua Kimmich, Konrad Laimer and new signing Tom Bischof and the Portuguese has been given no assurances that he will be a regular starter next season. Serie A giants Inter Milan are known to be admirers of Palhinha, while a report emanating out of Germany this week claimed Arsenal had held 'serious' talks to sign the Bayern man before the Club World Cup. Clubs from Spain, Turkey and Portugal are also believed to be monitoring Palhinha's situation at the Allianz Arena. 'I have a contract for three more years, so I'll report for duty on July 29, which is when we start this pre-season,' he said. 'As I've said several times, and it's been a recurring question, I have three more years on my contract.' Palhinha is yet to nail down a regular starting role under Kompany (Picture: Getty) While Palhinha admits there is some uncertainty over his future after a difficult debut year, he is looking forward to representing Bayern again when the new campaign gets underway. 'I don't know what will happen, but I'm at a great club, as I've always said, he added. 'Obviously, it hasn't been an easy year, but as soon as the season starts, I'm very motivated to prove my worth once again at a very special club, a huge club. Palhinha struggled with muscle injuries last season (Picture: Getty) According to Bild, Arsenal have been eyeing Palhinha as a possible target in midfield, even after bringing in Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi from Brentford and Real Sociedad respectively. More Trending With Jorginho and Thomas Partey both having departed the Gunners this summer, new sporting director Andrea Berta has been determined not to leave Mikel Arteta short in the middle of the park. Kepa Arrizabalaga remains Arsenal's only other addition of the transfer window, but it's understood Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera and Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres are closing in on moves to the Emirates. The north Londoners are also working on a deal with Crystal Palace for Eberechi Eze after agreeing personal terms with the England international. Eze has a £68million release clause at Selhurst Park and Palace are reportedly demanding that their London rivals pay this in full. For more stories like this, check our sport page. Lewis Hamilton eyes key Ferrari F1 breakthrough after testing in Mugello

Lewis Hamilton is testing a new rear suspension on this year's Ferrari F1 car in Mugello today. Hamilton, as well as teammate Charles Leclerc, will drive the SF-25 car around the Italian circuit on Thursday, in addition to a session on Wednesday, as both drivers eye a breakthrough in car performance at the halfway stage of the 2025 season. Both will take to the cockpit on Thursday, with a total of 200km of running allowed as per F1's rules as part of a 'filming day'. Ferrari hope that the new suspension, alongside a new floor upgrade at round 11 in Austria, will extract more performance from a car which is yet to win a race this year. The Scuderia believe the new suspension will help the car be less sensitive to various ride heights, opening up more set-up options for qualifying and the race. The added benefit of this week's testing session comes ahead of next week's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, which is also a sprint event, meaning there will be just one practice session. Hamilton is yet to finish on the podium in a grand prix, with three best-place finishes of fourth, including at his home race last time out in Silverstone. Leclerc, meanwhile, has finished on the podium four times but is yet to taste victory. Neither driver has recorded a pole position, either. The three teams to have won race so far this season are McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes. Hamilton, in his first season at Ferrari since his move from Mercedes, is currently sixth in the drivers' standings, a whopping 131 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri. Leclerc is one spot, and 16 points, ahead of Hamilton in fifth. Both Hamilton (five times) and Leclerc (once) have won at Spa-Francorchamps, the longest track on the 24-race calendar. Hamilton won last year's race after George Russell, who won the race on-track, was disqualified post-race.
