Has the UK ever had 0 points in Eurovision? Nil points score

The girls (Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele) will be the first all-female group to represent the UK since 1999.
This was when five-piece Precious managed to finish 12th out of 23.
But Eurovision fans will be hoping for one thing – for the UK not to land the dreaded 'nil points'.
Yet some might be wondering when and how many times the UK has been awarded zero points.
As Remember Monday hope to follow in the footsteps of current Eurovision champion Nemo from Switzerland, let's find out.
In its nearly 70-year history, the UK has won five times, and the last time we came close to winning Eurovision was in 2022, with TikTok star Sam Ryder.
His song Space Man came in second place with a staggering 466 points.
Although the UK has scored at the bottom of the leaderboard four times in Eurovision history, the UK has only ended with zero points twice.
The UK scored zero points once in 2003 and again in 2021.
The Liverpool-based group Jemini were chosen to be part of Eurovision in 2003 with the song Cry Baby' after a public phone poll during the TV show A Song for Europe competition.
In 2021, bad luck struck again with James Newman's song Embers also failing to win a single point.

They awarded Olly 46 points.

Barron Trump's best friend claims he got ICE to detain world's biggest TikTok star Khaby Lame

One of Barron Trump's supposed best friends has claimed he's responsible for getting the world's biggest TikTok star deported out of the United States. Bo Loudon, a Gen Z MAGA influencer who's previously been pictured with Barron and Donald Trump, said he reported Khaby Lame to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Loudon's first post on X came June 6 when he wrote that Lame is an 'illegal alien ' in all caps before proclaiming that he has 'been working with the patriots at President Trump's DHS' to deport the Senegal-born influencer. ICE already confirmed Lame was detained at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on June 6, the same day Loudon made his supposed involvement public. Lame, who has over 162 million TikTok followers, overstayed his visa after entering the country on April 30, according to an ICE spokesperson. He was granted 'voluntary departure', a bureaucratic euphemism for being kicked out. 'Serigne Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, was detained… for immigration violations,' the spokesperson confirmed in a statement. 'Lame was granted voluntary departure… and has since departed the US.' Loudon, 18, claimed that Lame was detained at Henderson Detention Center, southeast of Las Vegas proper, though its unclear how long he may have been in custody before leaving. ICE has not confirmed whether Loudon was involved in reporting Lame to authorities. has approached immigration officials for comment but did not immediately respond. Loudon has continued to celebrate his alleged role in the TikToker's removal. He made a post Wednesday afternoon denouncing various media outlets' coverage of this incident, who reportedly called him a 'rat' and a 'rat extraordinaire'. 'Why? Because I helped President Trump's DHS deport TikTok's biggest star, Khaby Lame, for being in the U.S. illegally,' he added. 'I wish Khaby well and hope he returns as a LAW-ABIDING citizen.' Loudon also did an interview with Dylan Page, another popular TikToker who has been the 'News Daddy.' In that sit-down, Loudon said he became aware of Lame's immigration status because 'he had worked with a few of my friends and business partners' who said his visa expired years ago. 'I called some people in the administration and they said "we're gonna get on this right quick,"' Loudon said. Lame is best known known for his dead-pan skits reacting to other content on the social media site. Loudon admitted that he doesn't watch much of Lame's content but said Lame has posted videos expressing a 'hatred' for Trump. 'I'm sure he hates him much more now, which is why I posted "far-left" TikToker,' he said. Lame has not commented on his detainment or his removal from the US and has continued to post videos as if nothing happened. As recently as May 5, Lame attended the Met Gala in New York City, where he wore a three piece suit with well over a dozen timepieces attached to his vest. Loudon, from Palm Beach, Florida, is the son of Dr. Gina Loudon, a conservative pundit and former co-chair of Women for Trump in 2020. His father, John Loudon, was a Republican Missouri state senator until 2008. Loudon and Barron Trump were instrumental convincing Donald Trump that it was a strategic advantage to appear on various podcasts popular with young me, including Adin Ross' show.

Reese Witherspoon's nepo baby Ava mortified after fans point out awkward detail about her boyfriend

Reese Witherspoon 's nepo baby Ava Phillippe was mortified after her followers pointed out an awkward detail about herself and her boyfriend Dakota Brubaker on Wednesday. The 25-year-old LBI Entertainment model decided to respond to a comment from TikTok user @mahriahlee which called them 'Reese & Ryan' - implying they resembled the 49-year-old Oscar winner and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. Ava - who's named after Ava Gardner - visibly cringed reacting to the comment, waving her hands no, while Dakota looked equally uncomfortable. 'You guys,' Phillippe scoffed in the caption. 'Whaaaaattt.' However, the Kamala Harris supporter also leaned into the comparison by having the anthem from her famous folks' 1999 movie Cruel Intentions - The Verve's 1997 hit Bittersweet Symphony - blaring in the background. And Brubaker wore glasses and a black turtleneck to more authentically evoke Ryan's character Sebastian Valmont, who seduces the innocent Annette Hargrove (Reese) in Roger Kumble's modern adaptation of the 1782 novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Witherspoon and the 50-year-old SAG Award winner - who are also parents of 21-year-old son Deacon Phillippe - divorced in 2007 after seven years of marriage. See the stunning pics of Matildas star Ellie Carpenter's French wedding as she marries her soccer player girlfriend

Matildas star Ellie Carpenter has tied the knot with her teammate Daniëlle van de Donk in a breathtaking ceremony that came almost 18 months after they got engaged. The 25-year-old met the love of her life as they both played for top French side Lyon and the Aussie revealed their nuptials in a post to Instagram on Wednesday night. Carpenter treated her followers to two photos of the wedding, which was held at a mansion in France, along with the caption 'I choose you. I will always choose you.' The post drew heartfelt messages from her Matildas teammates Emily van Egmond, Emily Gielnik, Kyra Cooney-Cross, Steph Catley and Charli Grant. Another Matildas star, Teagan Micah, was part of the wedding party. Van de donk's gown was made by leading bridal brand Pronovias, while Carpenter's gown - which featured a veil - was created by Collingwood-based custom dress maker Mia Ateliers, with the soccer star describing it as 'the dress of my dreams'. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ellie Carpenter (@elliecarpenterr) The ceremony - which was the centrepiece of three days of celebrations - was held at the Château Hermitage de Combas in southern France's Servian region. 'The setting is so lush and green, it's beautiful,' Carpenter told Vogue. 'It's got this unique, elegant vibe but still feels grounded in love and who we are as a couple. Intimate, natural, and full of heart.' The couple met while playing internationally and really got to know each other when van de Donk joined Lyon in 2021. They first went public with their romance in 2023 and announced their engagement on New Year's Day last year. The Matildas defender shared the news to Instagram alongside a loved-up photo of the couple taken in front of a stunning ocean vista in the Maldives. In the image, Ellie is seen embracing her fiancée as she flashes her stunning engagement ring. Danielle captioned the touching frame with some tender words. 'My person for life,' she wrote, adding a red love heart and ring emoji. That announcement came after Carpenter spoke out about the cruel abuse she received from online trolls following the Matildas' loss to England in the Women's World Cup semi-final on home soil. She was forced to turn off the comments on her Instagram account after an unfortunate mistake in the 71st minute of the match that proved costly in Australia's eventual 3-1 defeat. Carpenter was given time off by the Matildas for her nuptials and was not in camp when the side's new coach Joe Montemurro addressed the squad for the first time late last month.
