MP: Mohan Yadav hold CM's Pathshala at Women's Polytechnic College in Bhopal, interacts with students
During the interaction, CM Yadav enhanced the knowledge of the students by highlighting the complete life story of Maharani Durgavati and Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Additionally, the Chief Minister also took a selfie with the students.
'Nothing is greater than the nation, and the nation's interest is paramount. Women in India have always been empowered; they were strong even when they had limited rights, and remain equally empowered today when they have all rights. Rani Durgavati and Devi Ahilyabai set remarkable examples through their courage, valour, determination, and administrative skills. They not only ruled effectively but also strengthened the governance system. Their lives were not easy, there were numerous struggles, obstacles, hardships, and challenges. Yet, they never gave up and they ultimately achieved their goal by fighting through every difficulty. That is why today, we remember them for their bravery,' CM Yadav said.
The Chief Minister further narrated the story of Rani Durgavati and Devi Ahilyabai in detailed to the students mentioning the important instances of their lives.
CM Yadav also told the students about the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai on May 31 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the state capital on the occasion to address a program centered on women.
'Devi Ahilyabai Holkar was born on May 31, 1725 in a Maratha Hindu family in a village called Chaundi, which is now in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. May 31 marks the 300th anniversary of her birth, which is why not only Madhya Pradesh but the entire country is celebrating her 300th birth anniversary with great enthusiasm. On May 31, PM Modi himself is coming to Bhopal to attend 'Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan' organized in the memory of Devi Ahilyabai here,' the CM said.
He also urged the students to participate in the program and take inspiration from the personality and work of Devi Ahilyabai.
During the CM's Pathshala at the college, the students also asked questions to CM Yadav and he answered all the questions with ease and persuasion.
Chief Minister Yadav further took glimpses of new household products, light lamps, designer mirrors, fabric, designer kurtas and other exhibits made of ceramics by the students under the 'Holistic Upskilling Nari Shakti Project' at the Women's Polytechnic College and praised the innovations of the girls. The inclusion of dedicated areas for offices, staff accommodation, and a community centre will support MPs in fulfilling their responsibilities as public a safety perspective, all buildings within the complex are constructed to be earthquake-resistant, in accordance with modern structural design norms. A comprehensive and robust security system has been implemented to ensure the safety of all development of the project was necessitated due to a shortage of adequate housing for Members of Parliament. Owing to the limited availability of land, there has been a sustained emphasis on vertical housing developments aimed at optimising land use and minimising maintenance residential complex, situated at BKS Marg, New Delhi, offers significant locational advantages for the Members of Parliament, particularly due to its proximity to the Parliament House Complex.

Arab League Council condemns Israeli plan to impose control over Gaza
Cairo [Egypt], August 10 (ANI/WAM): The Council of the Arab League condemned the Israeli government's decisions and plans to impose military control over the Gaza Strip and displace its population, affirming that such actions constitute a violation of international law and a threat to Arab and regional security. In its closing statement following a meeting of permanent representatives at the League's headquarters, the Council renewed its call to protect the Palestinian people, prevent the liquidation of their cause, and implement resolutions of Arab summits to break the siege and deliver aid by land, sea, and air in coordination with the United Nations. It also condemned the use of starvation as a weapon of extermination, which has claimed the lives of 200 civilians, half of them children, and the 'death traps" that have resulted in 1,500 martyrs. The Council called for enabling the State of Palestine to administer Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, and urged the Arab Group in New York to submit a draft resolution to the UN Security Council under Chapter VII to halt the aggression on Gaza, facilitate the delivery of aid, and impose sanctions on Israel. It further urged the international community to work towards implementing Security Council Resolutions 2735, 2712, and 2720, concerning the ceasefire, the return of displaced persons, the distribution of aid, the exchange of prisoners, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces. The story of Asiatic lion's conservation in Gir has become global: Gujarat CM Patel on World Lion Day
The successful story of Asiatic lion's conservation in Gujarat has become global due to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and proactive practices of the forest department, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Sunday. The CM was participating in an official function to celebrate World Lion Day in Timbdi village of Bhanvad taluka in Devbhumi Dwarka district. The CM was also joined by the Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, among others. Speaking on the occasion, CM Patel said, 'The population of lions in Gujarat…has increased to 891. The increasing population of lions is a matter of pride for us. Under the leadership of PM Modi, a relation of emotion and economy has been established between the locals and lions. In the last 25 years, the lion's territory has expanded from three districts to 11 districts.' The region is known as Barda Wildlife Sanctuary where the Asiatic lions have naturally settled after a long time while reclaiming their territory. Referring to this fact, the CM said, 'Lions have naturally made Barda Wildlife Sanctuary their home. The PM has announced to provide all necessary help and facilities for lion conservation in Barda. And today, after 143 years, rehabilitation of lions has started in Barda. Naturally beautiful Barda region is attracting tourists. With the PM's vision and proactive practices of the forest department, the successful story of lion's conservation in Gir has become global.' On the occasion, the CM also inaugurated or laid the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 180 crore in the region. These include development of a safari park in Barda Wildlife Sanctuary, facilities for tourists there, around 247 vehicles for patrolling, monitoring and rescue of the wild animals. The CM also launched a portal from where tourists can do online booking of 24 eco-tourism sites in the state. Yadav also delivered a speech on the occasion wherein he emphasised the importance of eco-centrism: a condition where humans can live with nature. 'And I tell it across the world, our maldhari fellows are living in their Nes (maldhari settlements in Gir region) while conserving nature. There, the population of lions has also increased,' Yadav said. He said that Gir is the best example of how man can live with lion in a friendly manner. 'If one wants to see wildlife conservation in a friendly manner, then the Gir region of Gujarat, local government's efforts and the lifestyle of local maldhari community should be observed,' Yadav said. Yadav said that the concept of eco-centrism can be a big example for the world. And for that, he said, PM Modi has given a climate action programme in the form of International Big Cat Alliance. The Union minister said that out of the seven big cat varieties in the world (lion, tiger, leopard, snow leopard, cheetah, jaguar and puma), five can be seen in India. Yadav said that under PM Modi, conservation efforts are being made for the five big cats. Gujarat is the only place where Asiatic lions can be found. Yadav said the number of tiger reserves in India has increased from 47 to 58 in the last 10 years, and 70% of the total tigers of the world are surviving in the wild in India. Commenting on Project Cheetah, the Union minister said, 'The fifth big cat, cheetah, was last seen in India in 1952. Those cheetahs were seen in Kuno of Madhya Pradesh… It was a big challenge to bring back the wild cheetah. I want to tell you that under the leadership of PM Modi, we had brought 20 cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa. Today, with 29 cheetahs, our fifth big cat (initiative) Project Cheetah is going very well.'
