Advertisement Yesterday, Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was in London. And he did meet with Fabregas there. The Nerazzuri executive looked to convince Fabregas on the club's project. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Inter have also had to deal with Como, who will hardly be keen to lose hold of their coach. As of yet, there is still a lot of uncertainty on both fronts. Fabregas, for his part, has neither accepted nor rejected a move to Inter. And Como have not yet green lighted the move. But the uncertainty won't be hanging around for long. The Gazzetta report that, whether Fabregas decides to join Inter or stay at Como, it will be in the next 24-48 hours. He could be Inter's new coach by the start of the weekend.

Ex Real Madrid Star The 'Dream Signing' For Inter Milan If Cesc Fabregas Becomes Coach Nico Paz would become the 'dream signing' for Inter Milan in the event that Cesc Fabregas becomes the new coach. This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Sinigaglia on January 20, 2025 in Como, Italy. (Photo by) Inter Milan had already been eyeing up a move for Nico Paz. The former Real Madrid midfielder was a player the Nerazzurri as having the right profile to thrive under Simone Inzaghi. However, the arrival of Fabregas on the bench would add a different dimension to Inter's interest in Paz. With Fabregas at the helm, Inter wouldn't just be speculating that their coach can get the best out of Paz. Advertisement On the contrary, the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder has already unlocked Paz's best form in a season at Como. Therefore, the Corriere report, if Fabregas does become Inter coach, the Nerazzurri would consider it their biggest 'dream' of the summer to bring in the Argentine. One way or another, the newspaper anticipate, attacking midfield will be a priority area to reinforce at if Fabregas does come in. Davide Frattesi could be on his way out no matter what. And then, players like Nicola Zalewski and Luis Henrique should suit Fabregas's football well. But having Paz continue his remarkable growth from last season would be the ultimate dream.
