Pakistan acknowledges India strikes 7 additional targets in Operation Sindoor. What it reveals
The document lists Indian strikes in Peshawar (Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa), Attock, Bahawalnagar, Chhor and Hyderabad (Sindh), as well as Gujrat and Jhang (Punjab).
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Bahawalnagar hosts an army cantonment, while Gujrat district houses Pakistan's largest cantonment in Kharian. In Jhang district, the Shorkot cantonment lies adjacent to the Rafiqui airbase, which was also targeted by Indian missile strikes.
The Desert Warfare School of the Pakistan Army is based in the Chhor cantonment, and Hyderabad similarly contains a military cantonment, Hindustan Times reported.
These disclosures were part of Pakistan's report on Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, launched in response to India's Operation Sindoor.
Following the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 civilian lives, India conducted calibrated strikes on May 7, targeting four terror hubs in Pakistan and five in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
These precision strikes were aimed at dismantling cross-border terror infrastructure while deliberately avoiding Pakistani military bases and civilian areas.
The targets included the Sawai Nala camp in Muzaffarabad, the Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters at Markaz Taiba in Muridke, and the Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters at Markaz Subhan in Bahawalpur.
In response to Pakistan's escalation—marked by missile attacks and drone swarms directed at Indian military bases and civilian locations—the Indian Air Force retaliated by striking at least nine Pakistani airbases and four military radar installations.

RTI activists push for wider scope, tougher action on info denials
Madurai: The Tamil Nadu RTI Activists' Movement held its state-level conference at the Tamukkam Convention Centre here on Sunday, passing 20 resolutions to strengthen the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, and expand its scope. Former RTI chairman E M S Sudarshana Nachiyappan said exemptions for "sensitive information" had no place in today's information era. "The government should not withhold information when an RTI is filed," he said, citing how RTI had revealed ₹840 crore spent by the Prime Minister on official overseas tours. He noted that an RTI seeking details on China's reported occupation of 10,000 sq km of Indian territory was rejected on "sensitive information" grounds, despite the data being visible on GPS. Key resolutions included proactive disclosure under Section 4(1)(B) of the RTI Act, faster transfer of applications between departments, protecting applicants' personal details, and penalising public information officers who unlawfully deny requests. They also called for appointing politically unbiased commissioners with integrity and legal expertise. Other demands included requiring first appellate authorities to conduct direct hearings to resolve most cases locally, handling complaints strictly under Section 18(1) instead of converting them into second appeals and giving priority hearings to senior citizens. As part of the event, activists filed 5,000 RTI applications across various state departments. Organiser Abdul said the resolutions aimed to make governance more transparent, curb misuse of "sensitive" exemptions, and uphold citizens' right to know in letter and spirit. New policy to make Delhi a film hub, says CM Rekha Gupta
Chief minister Rekha Gupta announced on Sunday that the Delhi government will soon bring a new state film policy aimed at turning the capital into a major shooting destination with provisions for film festivals, and awards, attracting people from all over the world. She assured to streamline permissions to shoot films in Delhi through a single window system. 'Our government is also planning to provide facilities to the film is a step towards making Delhi now a centre of film production and cultural consciousness,' CM Gupta added. She also highlighted the government's plan to make Delhi a film hub and said,'We have given shape to film policy to promote Delhi as an internationally renowned shooting destination. We have set a budget of three crore rupees to make Delhi a hotspot for film production. We hope that in the coming year we will get applications for shooting many films,' she added. She said the policy aims to elevate Delhi's image beyond politics and history. Despite having some of the most prestigious drama and theatre institutes, no serious efforts have been made to develop the film industry in the capital, she added. Further, the CM said that an International Film Festival will be organised in the capital with the participation of the Delhi Government, for which a provision of ₹30 crore has been made. 'It provides a platform where filmmakers, distributors and people associated with films can connect with each other and create new opportunities,' she added.
