Sadly, he has plans to steal her jewels to pay off his debts – but he's also in love with her so it's not a simple proposition. Lionel Barrymore's terminally ill bookkeeper, a young Joan Crawford as a flirtatious stenographer, and Wallace Beery's bumptious factory owner are other guests adding to the social whirl. Strictly star 'almost turned down' show over terrifying stalking ordeal
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 contestant Chris Robshaw almost didn't sign up to the show after being stalked. Insiders close to the England rugby icon have said he was the subject of a harassment campaign by a woman he met briefly at two separate work events in 2024. According to reports, the abuse began six months after the pair met, and Robshaw, 39, contacted police after she threatened him with violence and spread false allegations about Robshaw and his colleagues. The Sun reports that the woman is being sought by law enforcement after leaving the country. It's claimed by the publication that the BBC is aware of the issues Robshaw and his wife, Camilla Kerslake, and two children have faced and is supporting him. 'Chris almost turned down Strictly because of what this woman has been putting him and his family through,' a source said. 'She's made some disgusting threats. It has been awful for them. 'Chris and Camilla have been told by the police they're not alone. This woman has form for what she's been doing to them and has done it to other people too.' They said that Robshaw decided to appear in the show for his son Wilding, who 'wanted mummy to laugh at his dancing.' The insider alleged that the woman made threats and allegations about Robshaw and his wife, as well as their colleagues, and that she is attempting to 'ruin Chris and Camilla's life.' Speaking to Metro, a representative for Robshaw said: 'This is an ongoing police investigation, and therefore we are unable to comment at this time. 'Chris will not be commenting further.' The source went on to describe the ordeal as 'deeply frightening' and said Robshaw contacted police 'the minute his children were put into danger.' 'This woman posted their address online and made really nasty threats against him and his family,' they continued. 'It's deeply frightening that no one has been able to stop her; she's fled the country and has been clever to avoid arrest. 'They've been advised by their case officer that the minute this woman steps back onto UK soil, she will be arrested.' The Sun reports that the woman was arrested in December and released with a caution. James Norton broke collarbone on set of BBC drama King & Conqueror
James Norton is leading new BBC drama King & Conqueror and has revealed he suffered a painful injury on set. King & Conqueror follows Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy who began as allies but were destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings. The BBC series tells the story of a a clash that defined the future of a country – and a continent – for a thousand years, the roots of which stretch back decades and extend out through a pair of interconnected family dynasties, struggling for power across two countries and a raging sea. While both Harold and William originally had no plans to become King of England, they found themselves become obsessed with the idea of wearing the crown. Much of the filming for the series took place in Iceland with James Norton taking the role of Harold as well as working as an executive producer on the project. Filming certainly seemed eventful as the cast opened up at a Q&A about nose-biting during battle scenes and breaking bones. James explained: "I literally bit his nose, the poor guy. I went through his skin. It was terrible." The actor went on to reveal the stunt actor came into rehearsal the next day with a "huge bandage" on. But James stated that the adding in nose-biting was a "stroke of genius" as it showed just hot "messy, violent and visceral" battles were. But that wasn't the only injury on set as the lead star broke his collarbone. Fellow executive producer and co-founder of Rabbit Track, Kitty Kaletsky revealed James had fallen off his horse during filming. "It ended up being great because James had a break scheduled," Kitty laughed. James added: "It was painful but luckily this goes to show how incredible and collaborative this crew was and we managed to sort of deal with it. "It was during a rehearsal and I fell off and landed on my shoulder and actually it was a remarkably quick recovery. "It was quite painful. For the latter half of the shoot, some of those battle scenes I'm yelping very loudly and the yelps are pretty authentic." But it wasn't just James who had a slightly painful experience as his co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau revealed during on scene in episode five, a stunt star was knocked out. He dished: "We had rehearsals where there was a guy knocked out. I mean they go so close, right? And it was a mistake both of them. I mean you should always be able to hold your fist but the other guy, he instead like holding the distance, he kind of moved forward right as he was swinging. "And they were also you know MMA fighters. So his tooth went out, blood out. And then the other guy, of course, because he hit the tooth, broke [his knuckle], he had to have stitches in his hand as well."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on intense fight scenes that saw King and Conqueror star 'knocked out'
EXCLUSIVE: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stars as William, Duke of Normandy, in upcoming BBC series King & Conqueror. Most will recognise Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for his role of Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones but for his latest venture, he's transformed into William, Duke of Normandy - or as many will know him, William the Conqueror. The Danish actor will go head to head against James Norton in the BBC historical drama which follows the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066. King and Conqueror also marks the first time Nikolaj has directed. And funnily enough, his directorial debut saw him choreograph a scene which sees the leading actor fight bare-chested. Speaking of filming the fight, which fans will get the chance to see in episode five, he recalled: "That was tough. I was spending a lot of time planning that because we only had so much time to do it. "The stunt team was incredible. The trick, or the challenge, when you do something like that, of course, because everyone's bare-chested, you can't hide anything. You know you're going to hurt yourself when you do these things, so we had to be very careful." Heaping praise on the stunt team, which included UFC and MMA fighters, Nikolaj shared: "These guys insane. The Icelandic guys, they're brilliant. I mean, there's one scene, the guy I'm fighting - he's in fights in the the big stuff - which is why I wanted to be the guy choking him out. "There's this big, big guy - at one point, he lifts up James [Norton] - early in the fight, he takes one of the other stunt guys and he throws him against this wagon. "And that was planned but what wasn't planned was that he's thrown him so hard that he went through the wagon and he like completely crashed the whole thing. The sound you hear, it's literally a guy being thrown through. But they just took it." He went on to share that during filming, everyone got so involved, one member of the team was knocked out.
