BLACKPINK's Jump Dominates M Countdown, Gets 4th Trophy And Triple Crown
Even after taking a break for two years, BLACKPINK is still breaking records. Their newest song, Jump, which was released on July 11, has quickly gained attention and praise from fans. After Jump reached 100 million views on YouTube in a short time, the girl group has now won their fourth music show trophy and earned a triple crown on the popular show M Countdown for Jump. This song is especially exciting because it is the first new release by Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa since their second album, Born Pink, which was released in September 2022.
Like in previous episodes of M Countdown, the show ended with the announcement of the top two songs of the week. This time, the final battle for first place was between BLACKPINK's Jump and Beautiful Strangers by TXT. After much excitement and cheering from fans, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa were announced as the winners for their track Jump.
Last year, during a chat with Rolling Stone, Lisa spoke about how happy she felt to be back with her fellow BLACKPINK members. The White Lotus star said, 'By next year, I think I would just keep releasing music and get together with the girls. I can't wait to share with the girls what I've been doing. This is what I wanted to do, and I'm happy to do. I want to keep creating music, dancing, fashion, everything. I love to do this. I just try to have fun as much as I can, like I said. Sometimes my mom comes around to go on tour with me. I'm trying to find the little things that make me happy and keep me positive."
Before BLACKPINK officially released the music video for Jump, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa gave fans a big surprise by performing the song live during their first Deadline World Tour in Seoul, South Korea. The track's catchy music and strong rap sections caught everyone's attention. Fans were amazed both by the live performance and the video.
After kicking off their tour in Goyang, the girl group headed to cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York. The group is now getting ready to meet fans in even more places around the world. Their upcoming stops include Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

The much-anticipated A Quiet Place Part III is officially happening, and John Krasinski is back at the helm. As per Variety, Krasinski will serve as the director, writer, and producer for the third main installment in Paramount's hit horror-thriller franchise. He confirmed the news on August 1 via Instagram, along with updates on the Michael Sarnoski-directed spinoff, A Quiet Place: Day One. The next chapter in the Quiet Place saga is slated to hit theatres on July 9, 2027. However, plot details are tightly under wraps, and it remains unknown whether franchise regulars Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds will reprise their roles. Sarah Jessica Parker Bids Goodbye To Carrie Bradshaw: 'Been Frustrated And Rooted For Her'
Last Updated: Sarah Jessica Parker says an emotional goodbye to Carrie Bradshaw as And Just Like That wraps up with Season 3, calling it a 'joyous adventure.' Sarah Jessica Parker is officially bidding farewell to Carrie Bradshaw — the iconic character she embodied for nearly three decades. With HBO Max's And Just Like That concluding after its third season, Parker took to Instagram to reflect on her 27-year journey as the Sex and the City heroine and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the ride. 'Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all," Parker wrote in a deeply emotional post. 'I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and a lifetime of debt. To you all." View this post on Instagram A post shared by SJP (@sarahjessicaparker) Parker's co-star Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte York, also penned a touching note following the announcement. 'I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever," Davis wrote. The news of the show ending was confirmed just as Season 3 started airing. Showrunner Michael Patrick King explained that they had initially chosen to delay the announcement to preserve the audience's excitement. 'We didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years," he said. From chronicling the ups and downs of single life in Manhattan to evolving into a tale of middle-age and reinvention, Carrie Bradshaw has remained an enduring cultural icon. With And Just Like That offering a bittersweet close to the story, Parker's tribute reminds fans just how deeply intertwined her real-life journey has been with the fictional one.
