In Wednesday's episode, Cartman is enraged when he sees Clyde start a debate podcast where he says terrible things about women and Jews. Hey, that's Cartman's thing! As Clyde explains to guidance counselor Mr. Mackey, 'I'm just trying to make my nut, man.' (DoorDash isn't free, you know.) But then P.C. Principal fires Mr. Mackey because the government is cutting back on 'unnecessary expenses,' and Mr. Mackey is left wondering: 'What about my nut?'

Mackey goes to the bank to look at his finances, and it's grim: His nut is $8,000 a month. ('I had no idea my nut was that big.') He can't find a job as a counselor, so he has to work for ICE rounding up undocumented immigrants because they're the only ones hiring: 'We don't ask for experience!… We don't care if you've read a book!' Mackey goes to the recruitment center and is immediately hired, and they show him an orientation video starring Homeland Security head Kristi Noem, who shoots dogs dead when she's not locking up immigrants. (Oh, and she doesn't look great without makeup on.)
While Cartman takes over Clyde's podcast and becomes a 'master debater,' sporting a Charlie Kirk haircut, Mackey is handed a machine gun and sent out on his first ICE raid… at a Dora the Explorer concert. He and the other ICE agents rush in and arrest dad and grandmas, even Dora herself. Noem is pleased — but her Botox falters, and her face melts like a hot candle. ICE's overreach leads to angry protests in Denver, where one protestor argues 'there are many Latinos in heaven.' So Noem sends her ICE agents to heaven to round up all the Hispanic angels: 'If it's brown, it goes down.' By now, though, her face falls completely off and scurries away.
Mackey's making good money as an ICE agent, but as his income increases, so does his nut. Noem has good news, though: The President has invited Mackey to Mar-a-Lago to thank him personally. He's flown down to Trump's pleasure palace, where Trump emerges in a pristine white suit like Ricardo Montalban from Fantasy Island — while his VP J.D. Vance is reduced to playing the pint-sized Tattoo. Trump wants to promote Mackey to head of homeland security, he says. But what about Noem? 'Her face freaks me out,' Trump admits.
Mackey gets cold feet, though, when Trump pulls him into a bedroom with Satan — yikes — and as he tries to escape, Mackey finds that Mar-a-Lago is just a house of horrors. Even fellow guest Clyde is disillusioned: 'Just wanted to make my nut, sir. Didn't really want all this.' Mackey understands, telling the kid: 'If you're doing something you don't really believe in just to make your nut, you're gonna find that you just get sadder, and your nut just gets bigger.' They decide to leave together, with the help of Superman's flying dog Krypto… well, until Noem takes out poor Krypto with a sniper rifle. But when her face crawls off and leaves the ICE agents scrambling to recover it, that gives Mackey and the immigrants enough time to escape. All's well that ends well, we guess.

Brandon Blackstock's final photograph shows him smiling alongside his pregnant daughter Savannah Lee. The 48-year-old talent manager, who lived in Montana, died last month following a three-year battle with cancer, leaving his singer wife Kelly Clarkson devastated. Now, in what is believed to be the final photograph taken of him before his death, Brandon has been revealed to have appeared happy before his passing. His daughter captioned the snap by saying she was 'back home to the mountains and my daddy'. A statement announcing Brandon's death said he had been diagnosed with melanoma and had recently entered hospice care before 'passing away peacefully' surrounded by family. On 20 July, Savannah, 23, posted what is thought to be the final image of him on Facebook. In it, both she and Brandon wore casual black clothing and smiled for the camera. Brandon rested one arm around his daughter's shoulders while propping one leg on a picnic bench, wearing a baseball cap and Ugg boots. Savannah, who is expecting her second child, posed with one hand in her pocket, leaning into her father. A few weeks earlier, Savannah – who has a three-year-old son – announced on Instagram she was pregnant again. She said: 'My little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January. 'This journey has been so special full of peace, excitement, and so much grace.' She also thanked God for being 'so faithful' and said: 'His kindness in this season has left (us) in awe.' Brandon shared Savannah and her brother Seth Blackstock with his first wife, Melissa Ashworth, whom he married in 2001 and divorced in 2012. He was later married to Kelly Clarkson from 2013 to 2022, with whom he had two children – daughter River, 11, and son Remington, nine. A spokesperson said about his death: 'It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. 'He bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.' The day before Brandon's death, Kelly, 43, announced she was cancelling the remaining August dates of her Las Vegas residency, saying she needed to be 'fully present' for their children as her ex-husband was 'ill'. The former couple's last red carpet appearance together was in January 2020 at the Critics' Choice Awards. Clarkson filed for divorce five months later.

It's a question we've been asking since The Gilded Age first premiered in 2022, but now that Gladys (Taissa Farmiga) has married into British nobility, the time feels more appropriate than ever. 'Things like the shooting season or whatever would incorporate many great houses for all of these families, as they would travel around England. We can bring about a conjunction whenever we wish, really, but we haven't got one planned yet, so we'll have to see.' To be fair, this is a much more encouraging answer than executive producer Gareth Neame gave us when we spoke with him back in The Gilded Age's first season. '[A crossover is] not in the thinking at all,' Neame says. 'It's a separate universe, but they're both fictions set in the 1880s. Downton Abbey, in its own fiction, was definitely there. A younger version of the Maggie Smith character would be living there, I guess. But it's not really planned.' A younger version of Smith's iconic Dowager Countess? Hey, he said it, not us. Wouldn't it be fun, if even as a fleeting cameo, to catch a glimpse of someone from the Crawley family on The Gilded Age? The first season of Downton Abbey began with the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, meaning it takes place less than 30 years after the current season of The Gilded Age, which would put the Countess somewhere in her 40s. Teenage arrested after three shot in New York City's Times Square
A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested after three people were shot in New York City's Times Square in the early hours of Saturday. Gunfire rang out at around 01:20 EDT (05:20 GMT) at West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, below the towering billboards in one of the world's busiest tourist hotspots. The teenager has not been named by police, and charges were pending. The shooting comes three months before the election for New York mayor, and as President Donald Trump sends federal agents into the streets of Washington DC to crack down on crimes committed by young people. The shooting in Times Square erupted during a fight outside a Raising Cane's chicken restaurant. It stemmed from a dispute, according to the New York Police Department. A handgun was recovered at the scene. Police say a 19-year-old man was shot in the foot, a 65-year-old man was hit in the left leg and an 18-year old woman was grazed in the neck. They were all admitted to hospital in a stable condition. Last month, a gun attack on an office building left four workers dead in Midtown Manhattan. The suspected gunman, a 27-year-old from Nevada, was believed to be targeting the National Football League offices. According to New York police, the city has seen historically low levels of gun violence in recent months. On Friday, Trump ordered federal agents into the streets of Washington DC to curb "totally out of control" levels of crime. Washington DC's homicide rate remains relatively high compared to other US cities, with a total of 98 such killings recorded so far this year. Homicides have been trending higher in the US capital compared with a decade ago. But federal data from January shows that Washington DC last year recorded its lowest overall violent crime figures - once car-jacking, assault and robberies are incorporated - in 30 years. On Saturday, Trump announced plans on Truth Social to host a news conference at the White House on Monday, "which will, essentially, stop violent crime in Washington, DC".
