Kerry Katona breaks down as she reveals what ex said that caused split

It was another emotional night in the Celebs Go Dating agency, and this time it was Kerry Katona who opened up about her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Kerry joined relationship expert Anna Williamson alongside sexpert Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn to talk through her previous relationships. As Dr Tara wasn't familiar with Kerry, the former Atomic Kitten star recalled her whole relationship history - starting with the breakdown of her marriage with Westlife star Brian McFadden. However, it was Kerry's recent breakup with Ryan that moved her to tears. The pair were engaged in 2020 and split in late 2024 after she cited a "breach of trust". Explaining in detail why the pair decided to call it quits, Kerry said: 'We were arguing quite a lot because he wasn't there for me emotionally and that used to get to me. It's the little things, just the little things that I want - I don't want diamond rings," as relationship coach Anna agreed. "So I kicked off, 'That's it, we're done', and he said, 'Look, I just don't know if I love you anymore," the mum of five revealed. Clarifying, Anna asked: "He said doesn't think he loved you?" "He said to me he doesn't think he loves me anymore, he doesn't know what he wants," Kerry confirmed. "I was devastated." A shocked Dr Tara then told Kerry it seemed like she had gone through "10 lifetimes of trauma". "But I'm really proud of myself because I got through it," the star responded. Expanding even further to the camera, Kerry announced: "It's all well and good being resilient, but it makes me quite sad that I've had to be so resilient." Kerry Katona and Ryan Mahoney (Image: Instagram/@kerrykatona7) As the camera panned back to Kerry, Anna and Dr Tara in Ibiza, the star broke down in tears as she revealed: "I've never had anyone to look after me. I've had to be my own hero which I'm really proud of. But yeah, I struggle with that." However, it looks like it was second time lucky at the agency for Kerry as she appears to have found love in the agency this time around. Kerry struck up a connection with Paolo Margaglione while on the hit E4 show, and now, it looks like the pair have taken the next step in their relationship. A source told The Sun : "Paolo is already living in Kerry's home - they're together 24/7 so it just made sense for him to move in. Things are going really well between them!" While filming for the series, Dr Tara told the Mirror that we can expect to see Kerry 'tell all' about her former relationship. "Lovely Kerry has an amazing story. People will really get to hear what has been happening since she last joined the agency. A lot has happened since she last joined," she said. "She really is able to use our agency as a platform to tell us what truly happened and her narrative. She has had a very traumatic life but is in a very good place now to move forward with romance and dating." Keating family left with ‘unanswered questions' in justice system

Singer Ronan Keating said his family is left with 'unanswered questions' about investigatory and judicial processes following the death of his brother in a crash. Ciaran Keating, who was the older brother of the former Boyzone singer, died in a car crash in Co Mayo in July 2023. His wife Annemarie was also seriously injured in the crash. The ripples, it's overwhelming. As a family, you find it hard to breathe sometimes Dean Harte, 22, from Tyrellspass in Westmeath, collided with Mr Keating's car while driving near Swinford in July 2023. He was given a 17-month suspended sentence at Castlebar Circuit Court in Mayo in February after he pleaded guilty to careless driving causing death, the Courts Service said. On the day of the crash, Ciaran and Annemarie had been travelling to watch their son play in a football match for Cork City in Sligo. Ronan helped carry the coffin of his brother Ciaran during his funeral in Louisburgh in July 2023. Speaking about his brother's death on RTE's Drivetime on Wednesday, he said: 'You can't really put it into words, a situation like this, how it can tear a family apart. 'I remember getting the call from my sister Linda, and to hear her voice on the phone, to hear her screams on the phone, is something I can never forget. It will be forever etched in my brain, in my mind. 'What happened to Ciaran, the injustice, the heartbreak, the devastating impact it has, and not just on Ciaran's siblings, but on his children, his grandchildren, his wife. 'The ripples, it's overwhelming. As a family, you find it hard to breathe sometimes. 'You have to shut it out. You have to block it because it's hard to get through your day. It's hard to put one foot in front of the other.' Ronan Keating spoke about the death of his brother and how it has impacted their family (Oliver McVeigh/PA) He added: 'You fill your day with things to, you know, things to take your mind off it. And he was my brother. He wasn't my dad, and he wasn't my granddad, you know. So what those kids have to go through is far, far harder than what we're going through as his siblings.' On the same programme, Ciaran's son Conall described his father as a 'hero' and 'mentor'. 'He was kind, gentle, proud man. Loved his family, loved his friends. 'There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about him or see him in things that I do, and I'd give anything just to have another day with him.' Conall said his own children keep asking 'when is pap coming back' all the time. Ciaran's brother Gerard said his confidence in the investigatory system was 'rocked' after he found an impacted door of the car in a ditch 10 metres from the crash site two days later. We're just another family that have been scarred by this broken system Ronan Keating said the discovery of the door should have been made by An Garda Siochana. 'There are many questions, many questions. We have so many questions, but we're just a family. 'We're just another family that have been scarred by this broken system. 'Ger went there and was doing a job that the police force here in Ireland should be doing. It should have been covered with a fine-tooth comb.' Gerard Keating also told the programme that he was left with questions in the judicial system, adding that the family was 'scarred'. What we're looking for is to make sure somebody else doesn't die because of careless driving. That some other family's life is not going to be ripped apart In relation to the suspended sentence handed to Harte, Ronan Keating said: 'All of the pain and the hurt is in losing somebody. This is just disgusting. It's awful – this situation.' He added: 'You can't get angry. You're floored. You're disappointed. The system is broken. 'As a family, we don't want to send some 22-year-old kid to jail. We don't want to see some kid go to jail whose life is going to be thrown away. That's not what we're looking for. 'But what we're looking for is to make sure somebody else doesn't die because of careless driving. That some other family's life is not going to be ripped apart.' Conall Keating said he would like to see 'credible deterrents' for drivers against careless and dangerous driving, adding that Ireland could 'pioneer' solutions around tracking speeding and phone use within cars. Asked if still believed the justice system was broken, Ronan Keating said the family had not seen any evidence of change since the sentencing. 'It's up to us now, the family, to try to do something about it. We won't let this lie.'

Kerry then sits back in her chair and touches her face with her hand as she grows emotional. She continues: "I was devastated." Expert Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn tells her: "Kerry, you have gone through what some people might feel like 10 lifetimes of trauma. Kerry agrees, but adds that she is proud of how she has got through everything that life has thrown at her, having been married three times before her relationship with Ryan. Fellow dating expert Anna Williamson tells Kerry: "I truly hail you as one of the most resilient people I have ever met." This prompts Kerry to become emotional again as she cries: "I never had anyone to look after me. EXCL Emotional Kerry Katona addresses age-gap relationship with new man - and 'real reason' she signed up for Celebs Go Dating "I've had to be my own hero, which I'm really proud of, but yeah, I struggle with that." In 2004, Kerry's first marriage was to former Westlife singer Brian McFadden when she was 21, and the exes have daughters Molly and Lilly together. Her next trip down the aisle was with Mark Croft, who she was married to from 2007 to 2011 and had son Maxwell and daughter Heidi with. Kerry's third marriage was to George Kay from 2014 to 2017 and they had her youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge. Kerry Katona's love life timeline Kerry's first high-profile relationship was with Brian McFadden, who was then a member of the Irish boyband Westlife. The couple married in 2002 and had two daughters together, Molly and Lilly-Sue, but divorce beckoned just four years later after infidelity claims. In 2007, Kerry married Mark Croft, a former taxi driver. Their relationship was tumultuous and marked by financial difficulties and accusations of infidelity. They had two children together, Heidi and Maxwell, before divorcing in 2011. Kerry has spoken openly about the difficulties she faced during this period, including struggles with her mental health and substance abuse. Following this, she entered into a relationship with George Kay, a former professional rugby league player. They married in 2014 and had a daughter, Dylan-Jorge (DJ). However, their relationship was fraught with issues, including horrifying domestic abuse, and they separated in 2017. Kay died in 2019 after 'biting into a ball of cocaine'. Kerry later found love again with Ryan Mahoney, a fitness trainer. The couple became engaged in 2020, and Kerry described Ryan as a stabilising and positive influence in her life. After increasing speculation late in 2024, Kerry revealed they had split over a "breach in trust" and Ryan had moved out of her home. Speaking about George, she tells the experts: "Complete, utter bad boy. Just got out of prison, 'I'll have a bit of you'. "Yeah, what have you done time for? Kidnap and torture? Great, you'll do me. "End up getting completely and utterly battered and abused."
