Britain's Got Talent judge 'QUITS' show - with major star 'lined up' as their replacement
It has now been suggested that singer and boxing star KSI is in discussions to take over the position, according to The Sun.
Bruno, 69, who previously judged Strictly Come Dancing, joined BGT in 2023 following David Walliams ' departure.
Despite reported efforts from show boss Simon Cowell, 65, to convince him to remain, conflicting commitments with Bruno' Dancing With The Stars gig in the US are said to have made it impossible to continue.
A source told the publication: 'Bruno has officially quit Britain's Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.
'He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden but Bruno just can't juggle his schedule with filming.
'There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face.'
MailOnline has contacted Bruno's representatives for comment. Sources close to the situation have confirmed the line-up for next year is still purely speculation.
KSI, who stood in on the most recent series as a guest judge, won viewers hearts on the latest series.
Previously addressing chatter about KSI to become a permanent judge, Bruno showed he wasn't phased.
He said: 'We're both young, attractive, multi-talented stars known the world over.
'Joking aside, I think KSI is fantastic — a real charming man full of energy. We attended the BRITs together too, which was a fabulous evening.'
It was recently revealed how the auditions for the next series of Britain's Got Talent will take place in just Blackpool, in October.
Viewers saw the show kick off in February this year, with episodes airing each Saturday night, replacing the traditional nightly episodes.
Bruno replaced David Walliams who departed the show under a cloud in 2023
The live semi-finals - which usually air nightly over the course of one week, were also shown on Saturday nights.
During the series, Bruno raised eyebrows after swearing live on air in the final.
Host Declan Donnelly was forced to apologise to ITV viewers after the Italian choreographer uttered the bad language before the 9pm watershed.
The ex-Strictly star was giving feedback after comedian Joseph Charm's performance when he said: 'We were just p***ing…' before quickly correcting himself and apologising.
The incident forced Dec to issue an on-air apology, as he told viewers: 'Apologies if you were offended by Bruno's slip of the tongue there.'
The remark was made during a live broadcast, which falls under strict rules preventing swearing before the 9pm watershed.
Bruno who joined the ITV talent show two years ago later clarified that he and the other judges had simply found the act very funny.
Some fans took to X to respond to Bruno's blue language, with some vowing he should be 'sacked' whilst others felt it was the 'best part' of the whole night. They penned:

'#BritainsGotTalent # BGT I'm not offended by Bruno saying p*****g, I am irritated by him constantly shouting and jumping his feet all the time!';
'Bruno nearly saying p*****g themselves laughing at what we don't know #BGT';
'Bruno dropped a minor swear klaxon! #bgt'; 'A lovely swear from Bruno. #BGTFinal #BGT #BritainsGotTalent';
'I'm sorry but Bruno swearing on Britains Got Talent has got me in stitches even 15 minutes after, so funny so funny #BGT';

The real reason two Jewish comedians had their Edinburgh shows canned
Two Jewish comedians have had shows cancelled by venues hosting the Edinburgh Fringe. Whistlebinkies told Rachel Creeger that she and her show Ultimate Jewish Mother were no longer welcome, while Philip Simon's Jew-O-Rama, a rotating line-up of Jewish comedians, was also barred. Another venue, Banshee Labyrinth, followed suit, cancelling Simon's solo show, Shall I Compere Thee in a Funny Way? The reason? 'Safety concerns' for staff. Those of us with the Jewish mothers of Creeger's title can certainly understand why others might have concerns over our mental safety, but I don't think that's quite what the venues had in mind when they banned a Jewish son and a Jewish daughter. You don't have to be a comedian or an expert in decoding sophistry to understand what's going on here. You just have to have a basic knowledge of history, because it's what has been going on for millennia. Jews have been banned for being Jews. Here we go again. They can dress it up in any drivel about health and safety they want, but when you translate 'concerns over staff safety' into reality it means, 'Jews are banned unless they manage to sneak in because no one has realised they are Jews'. The excuses used by the venues to justify the bans gave the game away. Creeger was told it was because of a supposed 'vigil for IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers'. The only problem with that is that there was no such vigil in either of their shows. As Creeger – an Orthodox Jew, who is open about that in her act – said at the weekend: 'They initially said that they believed we'd held a vigil for an IDF soldier, a fallen soldier, which is a thing that just hadn't ever happened in either of our shows. The shows are not political, we're not political performers and the IDF is not a relevant subject in either show. They later withdrew that and said they understood that that didn't actually happen.' Simon added that the venue had trawled his social media and then told him that his 'views concerning the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine…are in significant conflict with our venue's stance against the current Israeli government's policy and actions.' But just as the objection to Creeger was spurious, so with Simon: 'I have never expressed support for anything other than freeing the hostages and finding a way for peace…I've never posted about the Israeli government. I've posted about the situation because we're all horrified about what's going on in the Middle East but there's been nothing positive that I put out really about the Israeli government.' It could hardly be more blatant: two Jews have been cancelled because they are Jewish. The rest is noise. The fact that neither Creeger nor Simon have expressed anything other than a desire for peace and freedom for the hostages is irrelevant, because one of the strongest lessons of Jewish history is that they come for the 'good' Jews too. It doesn't matter if you think you're behaving as they want you to behave: in their eyes, all that matters is that you're a Jew. Politicians are wont to repeat the phrase, 'There is no place for antisemitism in [add the name of a city or country]'. In reality, however, in Britain in 2025 there is every place for antisemitism. Always and everywhere.

Outlander star drops cryptic hint at future of gripping ITV crime drama away from Starz
Karen Pirie is back on ITV and has been given a major promotion - but will the crime drama return for a third season? Outlander sensation Lauren Lyle has spoken out about the prospects of her other successful show, ITV's crime series Karen Pirie, following its well-received second season. At 32, Lyle, who is widely recognised for her role as Marsali Fraser alongside Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe in the popular Starz series, first stepped into the shoes of Val McDermid's famed detective in 2022. Fast forward three years, and the acclaimed crime drama has returned with a vengeance, featuring Pirie's rise to Detective Inspector and her investigation into a spine-tingling cold case from the 1980s. After drawing on McDermid's initial two novels, The Distant Echo and A Darker Domain, Lyle teased the possibility of more adaptations during her appearance on Sunday Brunch. the Scottish Daily Express. To which Lauren responded affirmatively: "Yeah, well Val McDermid, who wrote the books, who's dubbed the Queen of Crime, I believe, she's written, I think, the eighth book or something?" As it stands, there are seven published novels in the Karen Pirie series, with Past Lying being the most recent in 2023. The forthcoming instalment, Silent Bones, is set to be released this October. Lyle also mentioned: "I did the voiceover for the audiobook," and added, "I mean, the production company has said 'Lauren could be doing this into her 40s', so maybe so." She concluded with optimism: "I think everyone wants to see it go." While ITV has yet to officially announce a third season for Karen Pirie, the strong ratings and positive critical reception indicate that the show's fanbase is continuing to grow. The broadcaster took roughly four months following the debut of the first series to greenlight the show's return, meaning viewers will probably need to be patient a bit longer for official confirmation of a third instalment. Simon Rimmer interjected, "Because it's such a great character..." with Lovejoy nodding in agreement: "It is really good, yeah. "I think the humour and her, and the bumbag, sets her apart," Lauren elaborated. "Whenever anyone says it's a crime detective show, I'm kind of like... everyone who watches it goes 'Oh my God, it's not that at all'. "You sort of fall in love with this woman and her life, her boyfriend and her personal life. "And then it's not just the case. And with the case you get such a deep insight into their lives, the 80s. You flash back and see the whole of the 80s." After another gripping episode last Sunday, viewers have just one final episode to anticipate this week before Pirie's current cold case reaches its conclusion. Following that, there are hopes the ITV series will bring McDermid's third novel in the collection, The Skeleton Road, to the small screen. Karen Pirie season 2 concludes Sunday, 3rd August on ITV and ITVX.

EastEnders star's wife is rushed to hospital as she's left unable to speak hours before family holiday
EastEnders star Ricky Champ's wife Sammy was rushed to hospital as she was left unable to speak and with swollen eyes just hours before they were due to go on family holiday. Sammy shares two children with the actor, who played Stuart Highway in the iconic soap from 2018 to 2022, and has been suffering from an ongoing health issue. And with just hours before she was supposed to meet her acting husband at Disney, she was left with swollen eyes and was forced to get medical help. In a Story shared to Instagram, Sammy shared a snap of her sore-looking eyes and her swollen lips as her skin broke out into hives. Alongside the post, she penned: 'What is the absolute one thing you don't need to happen the day before you fly to Disney when you need to go shopping/ pack/clean/do that's right, wake up with your lips so swollen you can't speak and eyes swollen shut so you're in A&E at 7am. 'One of the side effects of my gallstones and liver is severe hives all over my body every single morning that go away by bedtime then I wake up and it starts all over again. 'Something due to the toxins etc (still not considered urgent though, still been told need to wait a year + for an op).' After seeking medical advice, Sammy revealed her face had returned to normal and was no longer swollen ahead of their trip to France. Ricky was one of five cast members to be written out of EastEnders in 2022. Stuart was at the centre of a father's post-natal depression storyline, with the character struggling to bond with his baby Roland. He had struggled with his mental health after his diagnosis with breast cancer and he is having trouble adjusting to parenthood after he and wife Rainie (Tanya Franks) tried for a child for a long time. Ricky first set foot in Albert Square back in 2018 and has landed a spell of intense storylines, including confessing to accidentally killing DI Steve Thompson (Philip Wright) - who later turned out be alive. He also admitted to being a vigilante paedophile hunter which stemmed from being sexually abused as a child. The actor's additional ventures include his role as Paul Parker in the BBC Three sitcom Him & Her and a Games Of Thrones appearance as Gatins. Ricky was one of five cast members to be written out of EastEnders in 2022. Stuart was at the centre of a father's post-natal depression storyline, with him struggling to bond with his baby Ricky filmed his final scenes as Stuart late in 2022. 'In EastEnders I went from villain to hero to dad,' he told Digital Spy at the time of his exit. 'It was amazing, doing that for five years with a character's arc. It felt weird leaving him,' he admitted. Ricky hasn't ruled out a return to the soap someday, as he claimed that anything is possible. 'He didn't die. He rode off into the sunset. I think he's somewhere in the North Circular living with Rainie,' he said of his character.
